    Unfinished door

    My husband and I visited Lowe's to select a new front door. We wanted a nice door as the previous one was ill fitted when we bought our home 2nd-hand. First, there were 0 reps on hand to help us in Millworks the afternoon we went by. We stood and waited over a half hour waiting for a manager or someone to come and help us in millworks. Finally, a guy came and said he could help. We had previously had measurements taken by a Lowe's employee so we knew the size to order. My husband preferred a TX star door which was very reasonable but unfortunately unfinished but we discussed that one but given the order delivery time, decided to go ahead. We were told then to come back and make the official order when "Dylan" was back from PTO. We came back on the day Dylan would be able to assist. At that time I was having 2nd thoughts about the star inset door and in talking with Dylan, he told us there were no longer the stars in stock and to get one would take exactly the same time as the door I was leaning towards (custom). We asked him to price it out for us with all the various options, including selecting a mahogany stain to be applied. I specifically said, since we're waiting longer on the door now anyway, we'd pay the extra costs involved for it to be fully custom. He showed us the quote and he then built our order in the system. We paid over $3000 for the door. Then we waited past the date actually promised another 2 weeks and then the store called to arrange installation. The contractor arrived with the door ready to install and unstained. We were told they sent him with this door and we'd need to finish it ourselves. We informed him we had ordered a fully finished door. We got the paperwork out and called the company rep (Cindy) and informed her we'd ordered our door with stain finish. She said she'd pass it along to Corporate and they'd get the door replaced correctly. Next we know, reps were calling telling us we had not paid for the stain but Dylan had said he remembered we were trying to save $$ so told him no stain. This is clearly a misunderstanding on his part! So, Lowe's answer was that we could pick up the stain or not, but they were absolved of further responsibility. This is beyond ridiculous as since the beginning their customer service has been misrepresentation of the facts, lack of prompt delivery and now at Thanksgiving we're left with an unfinished door to welcome guests. This is it for us! No more Lowe's and we plan to spread our story far and wide. Date of experience: October 07, 2024

    I like this location vs the one I always went to before on Anderson. Less busy and has plenty of plant selections. I used to go to Home Depot a lot for my plants but now I prefer Lowe's. Same plants for way less in pricing. Now that we are home owners, we also like to grab our home essentials from here because you can't beat the deals and prices. All our paint, wood, supplies comes from Lowe's. Cant complain about the service since they are always around to help. Love this location.

    I ordered a refrigerator from this location and when they delivered, I noticed the shelves were bent and the door handles were missing. After speaking to the Appliance manager, he had the fridge picked up and a new one sent. When they delivered the second fridge, I noticed the handles were missing again, but I accepted the delivery because we were moving soon and needed a fridge. I have tried calling the Round Rock Lowe's multiple times and I have not been able to reach the appliance manager or get any help from the staff. The staff in appliances have been especially unhelpful with one person in particular always giving me the run-around. I understand that the fridge issue is a problem with the manufacturer, but it doesn't explain why the service at Lowe's has been so horrible. When I call, I usually get into a never ending loop of being transferred to customer service and I'm regularly hung up on if I'm on hold for too long. I'm hopeful that my review can help change things at this location, but given all the other crappy reviews, management here doesn't seem to care. I will not being doing business at this Lowe's anymore and you shouldn't either.

    Beautiful new doorknobs for our master bath

    During our bathroom remodel over the past few weeks, I have made several trips to Lowe's for items which have never been on my personal shopping list. This past week, Rodger (with a D!), came to my rescue. It's his wheelhouse, and customer service is his middle name. Not only did Rodger help me complete my list for new doorknobs for the entire house, he made me feel good about being a novice to updating. If the world only had more people like Rodger, wouldn't it be lovely! Thanks, my new friend. They look SO pretty.

    I saw a meme a while back that had a picture of a phone with cobwebs and it said "if we don't take care of the customer maybe they'll stop bugging us". Totally applies to this store. I called and it rang, and rang, and rang, and rang, and rang, and rang some more until it finally just disconnected. Because of this, I will be returning the $400 air compressor I bought and will go elsewhere. I need a retailer that understands that customers have a need every now as again to talk to the store and actually answers the phone when I call. Business is not guaranteed.

    Pretty decent grill at a good price. Just hate the customer service I received

    Don't believe what they say, they took 3 months to install my Levalor verticals. Do it yourself and save yourself time and money.

Im a member last month we purchased a floor jack and on there monthly flyer mentioned this jack instead of $145 it was going to be $89 Dollars. Folks this would second time that A harbor freight employee has been such disappointment. There customer service is bad. That's what happens when you don't have a manager or supervisor that is a good leader. They are this young folks
