I went to this Lowe's to get some screws for my kitchen cabinets and I decided to check on the paint options for our bathrooms. Chris was working in the area and he was very helpful, friendly and resourceful. He spent time with me on helping decide what sheen, what type of paint and what exact hue was best for me. He told me they were running a BOGO at 50% off, and today was the last day..... I was not going to buy my paint at Lowe's but after that excellent customer service, I did. I needed a new hot water heater so I went to my local Lowes in Raynham MA I spoke with a sales person Rich O'Connell, He took me thru all the steps of selecting everything I would need. He then asked if I was useing Lowes installers, I said yes. He said he couldn't quote me the final cost as the install depended on what was needed and the installers would call and schedule the installation. They called but they wouldn't quote me the final cost. Time came for the install the plumber showed up with water heater and he installed it. When he was done I went to check lt out, he was supposed to have a pan under the heater but he said he wasn't given one. At this point it was too late anyway, The installer did a great job on the install. A 10out of 10 I went to Lowes today to ask about a refund for the missing pan and was told that none of the products I ordered from them were used by their installers, and there was nothing they could do. I am very upset by this shoddy business practice and now I will probably take my future business elsewhere. read more

I recently went in to purchase a double window curtain rod which they didn't have in store BUT I just so happened upon a rug I loved! A sales woman found me almost right away and in NO TIME, had another girl help. They had the rug down in no time. Wrapped and on a trolley for me to bring to the register. I ordered a refrigerator from this lowes and they didn't have it in stock so they set up delivery through the Wareham store. The day before it's suppose to be delivered I get a phone call and Wareham never had the refrigerator in stock. The more I asked how this could have happened the woman from the Wareham store kept saying they could order it but it would take 2 weeks. So I purchased a SAMSUNG, 4.7-cu ft High-Efficiency Top-Load clothes Washer, Model #: WA5471ABW. It came with a one year warranty and I purchased an extra 4 years. It an OK washer but recently I had the mother board and pump fail as well as extreme rusting on the top door. The rust is so bad it falls into the washing drum discoloring the clothes. The warranty tech comes out who could not have been nicer and says that he will order the board & pump but what was with all the rust?!?! My wife was the primary user of that machine and I then realized why she was complaining about clothes being stained with rust. I asked Lowes to reach out to Samsung about a repair for the rusting top door and the answer was truly ridiculous. And I quote: "Samsung says it is a KNOWN issue but was only covering the repair of the rusty door for a period of 3 years from date of purchase so you are not covered despite being under an extended warranty." I can't believe it as the machine has not been hit, dented or abused and they admit that it is a KNOWN issue but I am out of luck and cannot use it as who wants to wash clothes that come out dirtier with rust stains?!?! Very unhappy with Samsung and my neighborhood Lowes. Replacement will be from Home Depot. read more

Ever since I moved to Raynham I have used Lowes as my go-to home improvement store albeit because of geographical convenience. However, I've come to find that the staff here is overall very accommodating, knowledgeable, and make for an overall fun experience every time I visit. My girlfriend and I have in the last few years easily spent thousands of dollars on home improvement supplies and products from here. The Lowes credit card (managed by GE) allows for any purchase over $300 to be either 5% off your total purchase price or interest free financing for the first 6 months. We have taken advantage of this on multiple occasions. The customer service department is very friendly and fair and makes for a fairly painless experience when needed. At one point Lowes had a promotion running that would allow a very low APR for a large purchase (I don't remember the dollar amount but it was in the thousands). The only catch was that it had to be as one big purchase. We had a new baby on the way and needed new carpets, washing machine, and dishwasher. The dishwasher was not in stock and the carpet was special order but the staff at Lowes worked with us to make sure that the entire order was put together to allow us the special financing. The carpet ordering and installation (via a contractor for Lowes) was a painless experience. Which was good because we had had a bad experience with Luna previously. The washing machine was delivered with no problems and the dishwasher was delivered soon after. The only problem we had was that when the purchase was rung up the special financing was not done correctly. My girlfriend contacted GE financing who said that we needed to go to the store to have it taken care of. We went to the store and explained the situation and they took care of it promptly and with no complaint. We've also purchased a lawnmower, snowblower, grill, lighting, ventilation, paint and many other home improvement items from Lowes in Raynham and have yet to have any problems. Large purchases we've bought the extended warranty and have not been disappointed when things break. The service plans are affordable and in the case of high ticket items are always a good idea. I would recommend this specific Lowes to anyone in the area for home improvement products. read more

I wanted to redo my bathroom. I went to Lowe's in Raynham and dealt with a women, Maureen, in the home decoration dept on 11/12/17. I paid $75.00 for a cost estimate. She and I reviewed the new fixtures, toilet, bathtub, vanity, wall tile etc for my bathroom. We scheduled an appt shortly thereafter for her and the contractor to come out and take a look and get an estimate. They should up and I was excited for the new venture. I did not hear from them after their visit. In mid December I called Maureen to ask for the status. She did not answer so I left a message. She did not return the call. I then went to the Raynham store and found her. She smiled and said the contractor did not get back to her. I went back weeks later and she said the contractor still did not get back to her most probably due to the holidays. She will call and get back to me. Needless to say, she did not. Today, 1/27/18, I went to request my $75.00 back she was not there. Another manager helped me and he really wanted to know what happened. I already went to Home Depot to do the job but he should some concern. I am so upset, I am ready to go to the better business bureau. I told the manager who helped me that Home Depot never ever treated me like this. They did a lot of work, and I paid a lot of money, to improve my home. DO NOT BUY ANY MACHINES FROM LOWES I bought a push mower from Lowes in Raynham, MA June 23rd,2018 a Husqvarna for $450.00 and used it maybe 5 times last summer as I had new grass. This summer started to use it and had an issue with it so I decided to drop it off myself to Lowes store as for them to send out for repairs. 4 days after they Called me to pick it up which I did and went home to use it, not working again same problem. I called the store and asked for a manager to complain and he said he could do nothing but sending me in a couple of days the Lowes Truck to pick it up and drop it off. On the pick up day the guys came and I asked them to start the mower and I cane show them what issues I had and then I wrote the report and they took off. Yesterday I received a call from the repair center needing my approval to have a new engine for $420.00 which I flipped and couldn't believe a machine less than 1 year old needs that and I asked the reason for that and was told due to something falling on the engine and made a dent on it, which apparently I had a picture of my mower with no such dents on it and didn't have any issues with the engine. Called the store # 1857 and spoke with the manager who apparently was just listening to me venting and said he can't do anything about it and advised me to call the Lowes Advantage warranty which I bought for 2 years extra to the manufacturer 1 year warranty. I swear I was on the phone with them for 2 hours from 1:30 pm till 3:30 pm they decided after all the investigations to file a complaint against the store and that I should hear back in 24 hours. I heard nothing from anyone called again and the Customer service agent put me on hold and called the store, came back to me saying apparently the store has nothing to do with this and I should call the manufacturer. The manufacturer will not do anything due to a physical damage on it, which I didn't do and was done during transportation for sure and the store doesn't want to admit it. I went and met the manager at the store which again brushed me off and told me best option go fix the mower at any small local place and they won't charge you that much. Please tell me what kind of customer service is that and how can I be trusting Lowes any longer or even why should I bother to buy the extra warranty if nothing is being covered or taken care of. I will definitely report to the Better business bureau and will always go buy from Sears. Now I am being bounced between the Store, Lowes Advantage and Manufacturer and each os pointing to the other. read more

I placed an online order for 3 pieces of 4 x 8 plastic lattice early yesterday morning for "curbside pickup". Now it's over 24 hours and I have called for update four times since yesterday. Was just told they pick in order of receipt. They may get to it today. I asked nicely if they could full fill it never once showing my angel now I see why this location has things in stock as my normal close store Plainville does not have any. I needed some things for the home and looked online at Lowe's. I was very happy to see that they were offering curbside pickup. I arrived there, parked in curbside pickup slot and called the phone number to let them know I was there as the sign told me to do. The Phone number wasn't working. And, it was very apparent no one knew or cared that I was there. So I went in. I had to wait in the customer returns and exchanges area to find out what was wrong with the process and get my order that i prepaid for. Finally a young girl looked up my order and after awhile was able to find it. She started filling my order then, even though I was alerted by email that my order was ready before I came to the store. She said let me get you a cart! I'm thinking WTH. And finally she asked me if I needed help putting it in my car and I said yes. To my surprise this little girl was going to help me, WTF. It would've been easier to just go in and get the heavy things myself. Curbside pickup is a joke on the customer! read more

Warning to others: NEVER BUY A GENERATOR (or anything really) OR EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM LOWES. Bought a generator at Lowe's in Wareham, MA in March 2018. Fired it up a couple of times and it was fine. Went to set it up in January 2019 and it won't put out power. Had the warranty and paid extra for an extended warranty. Brought it to Lowe's on 1/9/19 and was told it would be 2 weeks max. We have lost power once since then and had 2 storms. I have called for updates and they had none. I have been told they can't get real time updates from the place they send warrantied items to be inspected/fixed. I told them I needed a generator and the assistant manager told me "we aren't giving you anything, call whoever you want". I asked for corporates number and was put on hold for 7 minutes while he "looked for it". Corporate would not allow me to do anything but submit a formal complaint about that Lowe's. It's now a month later and I still have no generator. No calls on status updates. This is the dead of winter. NEVER BUY A GENERATOR OR EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM LOWES. Such a nightmare. Hoping to have our $1200 generator back sometime this winter... read more

Great customer service, easy to rent the rental truck. Did notice when we brought it home, the wood that was purchased was damaged a little bit, so when I showed the person the damage, they said that we had to bring it back. Understandable, but at least should have been looked at just in case. Make sure that everything is good before you leave, but still recommend the store read more

I hired Lowes to fence my yard back in May of 2017 and 3 months later no one call or came to do the work and to my surprise they have the nerve to start sending me bill to pay, when I contacted them to ask what the charges are for and they've told me for the fence that I have hired them to do and they never done. And then the unthinkable happen the rep was asking me about the work when is it going to be done.(You folks got the picture: the right hand does not know what the left is doing, very sad people to deal with) I had to wait another month for my work to be done because they did not order all the parts. Not disabled friendly!!! My sister is disabled and needs an air conditioner. We called Lowes to find out information about purchasing one. It took 27 minutes, 3 disconnected calls, lots of hold times, 4 transfers, before speaking to a sales rep. We were given the info that my disabled sister should purchase a unit a size up to make sure the compressor doesn't over work itself, they charged her $39 that night to come measure the window, and said it is an additional $100 to install window unit. A week went by and no phone call from Lowes to schedule an appointment to come measure the window. My sister called Lowes and again was kept on hold for 20 minutes without speaking to anyone. She called Home Depot and they were able to schedule the appointment right then, only charged $50 for installing unit, and told her that she does NOT need to purchase a size up. When my sister called LOWES MANAGER to cancel and get a refund, the manager never apologized for the run around she got. I would NEVER recommend this Lowes. They are NOT disabled friendly at all. Went to purchase a bathroom vanity. I already knew what I wanted and saw them on a shelf. So I press the assistance request button. Kid comes over, turns it off and says he's almost done with these people and will be right over. Ok. No problem. Couple of minutes later the people leave. I wait a bit thinking maybe he's finishing up paperwork. Nothing. I go over to the desk and no one is there. Sigh. Hit the button again and a different kid arrives. I show him the one I want. He looks a little confused so I point to the top shelf. He needs to call a driver. Ok..I'll be in lighting since I need a fixture. I actually knew what I wanted again so I look on the wall for it. Lots of empty spaces and not much of a selection. Huh. Weird. I happen to look under the shelf and saw a plethora of fixtures that for some reason were not displayed in all the empty spots. Sigh. Grab one and off to the registers. Got help putting the 233 lb vanity in the van and brought it to the house. With the help of a contractor who was thankfully there, we get it in the garage. He leaves. We open the box.....and the freaking thing is smashing on the corners! W.T.F???. They tell us we can bring it back. Umm...no. We can't. We now need it picked up and a new one delivered which they can't guarantee by Friday. Oh yes. You can. And they did hopefully. It's due for delivery today. So basically, the store isn't well stocked or presented and if you have a problem, no one seems overly concerned unless you're in the background screaming like a banshee while your spouse tries to be nice on the phone with them. read more

On 5-16-15 I went into the raynham location to purchase a lawn mower . I had asked the guy in the lawn mower department about the Troy built TB 200 lawn mower if it had been a returned product because the box had been opened and he assured me that it was not and I had asked if he had any more in stock but he had told me that it was the only one left so I went ahead and purchased it . as soon as I had got home I had assembled it and tried starting it and nothing the machine did not turn on because the pull cord would not move it was stuck so I read the manual up and down looking to see if there was a safety mechanism on the machine and it did not specify that there was so I called there 1800 # to make sure I wasn't missing any steps which they had asked if I had put gas and oil in it and if I had held the blade grip mechanism down and of course I did but the rope would not release so they told me that the spindle must of been either not aligned or broken . They had transferred me to the raynham store and spoke with one of the employees and he mentioned the same thing to me and to bring it back and I had mentioned to him that the employee that sold it to me said it was the last one and I wanted to switch out the model but didn't want to wait to long for the same model to be back in stock and the guy said that it wasn't the last one and he had 16 left in stock. at this point it's already late and I can't cut my grass which I Intended to do that evening . I returned the lawn mower back the next day which is today on 5-17-15 to the Dartmouth store which is closer to me because I live in fallriver and did not want to drive to back to raynham . I had explained myself to the lady at the return counter and her exact words to me were , we have nothing to do with the raynham store and that my experience was with raynham employees and not Dartmouth . I understand they are different stores but isn't lowes a is national chain ? So they had brought out one of the managers and he had explained to me that he already knew what the issue was and that the manual doesn't mentioned it and they should have some type of label on the lawn mower explaining but they don't . I wish they would have explained it to me when I called the 1800 # instead of wasting a few hours trying to figure it out . He had got the mower working and said it should be all set and explained that the arms on the mower had to be extended all the way out , I wish the manual would have said it but unfortunately it didn't . So I had returned home to finally cut the grass which I got half way until the machine stopped and the same issue occurred this time I did the exact same he showed me and nothing it did not work again a waste of time . I had brought it back and they could not get it started this time . Hours wasted on a crappy product that the kid assured me was not a return and that it was the last one left that they had and low and behold they had 16 in stock he was just to lazy to go check . Not only did I waste hours and 2 days of my time and gas going back in forth due to lack of checking inventory and putting a product back in a half opened box that I had inquired if it was a return and he assured me that it wasn't which apparently it was and it was a defected mower. This is not the first time I ran into issue with lowes but unfortunately I had a store card from them and buy products from there . Well this is the last straw with lowes I should of stuck with Home Depot because I have never ran into an issue with them or their products but that's what you get when you go with a store whos employees are teenagers who have no idea about their products or anything . I will be paying off my store card and closing my account and sticking with Home Depot from now on. Thanks for wasting my time and gas read more
