Buyers beware. I purchased a dryer from Lowes Home Improvement March 6, 2026. The dryer does not work appropriately. It does not dry my clothes completely. I am using a drying rack to hang my clothes dry. When I asked if I could return or exchange the dryer on March 12, 2026, they said they have a 48-hour return policy. The salesperson never mention this policy but he asked me about getting the extended warranty. I would not have purchased the product. Lowe's Home Improvement does not stand behind their products and care for their customers. They did not care that the product did not work. I paid $709 with the expectation that I would receive a working dryer. I haven't had it a week. I will not be making any more purchases at Lowe's Home Improvement. I do not recommend a friend to go to their stores. read more

I don't know who Randy dealt with, but I definitely have not received "great customer service". Bought 2 appliances. First one showed up cosmetically damaged. Not the fault of the delivery company, but scratched up just the same. Not inconspicuously scratched. But a lovely scratch I get to see every time I open the fridge. Granted Lowe's refunded us $50, but that doesn't fix the scratch. Now.....2nd appliance simply doesn't work. This was noticed at the time of installation (appreciated). However, the faulty appliance sits in my house and I have to wait yet another 2 weeks for delivery of hopefully a working dishwasher. Lowe's took over a week to contact about delivery of the replacement. Dreadful customer service. Why there wasn't a rush placed on getting a replacement out to me I'll never know. Lowe's needs to come pick up their garbage. I'm calling Home Depot. read more

The storm door we purchased was missing the handle. We called the store and the associate was friendly. But was not able to assist since the manager brushed us off, telling the associate we should call the door company. This was/is unacceptable. We purchased an item that clearly states the handles are included. What we received did not match the description. The associate said she will arrange for the manager to call us. The manager has not called. To my mind Lowes sold an incomplete item and the manager demonstrated a clear lack of customer care. read more

Soooo, every single time I go into this store, there are multiple customers with no mask. As the virus ravages the state there are still those who continue to go out and put others at risk. I do not care if you have had it or not--wear a mask! Make EVERYONE mask compliant at your store like your sign says. We are happy we have a store with helpful kind people. We have other locations close by but we make sure we always head to Our Lowe's with familiar faces who are always are willing to happily help. June 2nd, 2017 at 1pm was buying 5 - 80 pound bags of concrete, a tripple bagger attachment for my Husqavarna tractor, (which I bought here) 2 six ft long 4x4's and four 16 ft long 2x10 boards. I was told that I would be given help loading the heavy concrete into my SUV as well as helping me with the very heavy 16 foot beams I needed on my roof rack. They had me pull around front, put the 4x4's in my vehicles, then proceeded to say I'm on my own for the rest. Because of liability reasons, they can't even assist me in lifting those 16 foot long beams into my vehicle. I had to do it all myself. They did not even help with the concrete. I have spent several thousands of dollars over just the last three months at Lowe's, and am now starting a large deck. Lowes customer service is terrible. From now on, I will drive to Home Depot in Hillsborough or Burlington which is several more miles away, but their customer service is tremendous. Their deck lumber is also much better, with less knots, and much straighter. If you want a deck board that is not warped at Lowe's, plan on sorting through 30 -40 boards to find a straight one. Good bye Lowe's, hello Home Depot, I have lots more money to spend. read more

The employees are complete idiots and if they can't find something in 2 minutes that they have 10 or even 100 in stock of, they will just shrug their shoulders and tell you to go to Durham. I was looking at the box of the exact product in the rafters and the guy and his superior and CS just shrugged and said sorry go to Durham. This same situation has happened to me 5 times, never again. I think it's funny they hound you to set up a pro account, then completely screw up your first $10K pro order putting a job behind by over a month because of their stupidity (they had everything in stock the whole time they just couldn't figure it out and delivered twice with major mistakes). I have spent $30,000 at this store in the last 6 months, but I will never return. And don't use COVID as an excuse for crap customer service. I'm sick of people using COVID as an excuse, COVID is not the reason you are lazy, COVID is not the reason you are all idiots... I will not go to Durham, I will go to Home Depot in Burlington from now on, even for a $1 purchase because I'm just so completely sick and tired you people. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but when I tell you I went into Lowe's to buy an entire kitchen set (fridge-stove- microwave- dishwasher) and a washer and dryer!! I walked out with nothing!!! Why? Because after trying to buy THREE different refrigerators I was told they had the one I wanted but they didn't know if they could sell it to me. Easy to buy landscape and gardening supplies; however when it comes to getting someone to load your purchase.. (Sorry but you are on your own. Workers will walk by you like you are not even there.) This is your typical Lowe's but what made me give it 5 stars was the excellent customer service I received. I went to get supplies to repair my coffee table my dog chewed and really had only a basic idea what I needed. The sales associate in the paint section was so kind and helped me pick out wood filler and stain as well as a spatula and brush. He probably spent 10 minutes explaining the types of stain and helping me find what I needed. I really appreciated his expertise as well as his willingness to assist. This type of service makes all the difference to me and I will certainly be a repeat customer. read more

Buyers of appliances from Lowe's beware. Bought a washer and was delivered late and the machine had no drain hose. Lowe's took it back and delivered another washer 4 days later. Store manager promised a partial refund but never came through!! read more
