I love At Home! I always come in here for one specific thing and end up leaving with a bunch of things I didn't need. The store is massive and has everything you could imagine for your home. I came in looking for a wine rack and found it along with a few other things. The prices are okay, somethings are a little more expensive than it would be at Ross or TJMaxx. I just try and research prices for things st other places before i go to make sure I'm getting a good deal. The staff is always very helpful as well. They usually only have one register open but there's never been a time where I've been in there and had to wait longer than a few minutes. read more

If you are searching for items to give your home a little additional flare, Home Goods has... well more than likely they will have it or at least something close to it. They have SOOO much to see that it can actually be overwhelming to go in with a list of things you need so you just don't end up buying any and everything. After shopping around for at least an hour, not one associate spoke to us or asked us if we needed assistance. Understanding that there was only 3-4 associates on the floor (that we saw) I guess I could understand. The store looked like the Tasmanian devil had visited. There was so much stuff piled on top of stuff. To top it off, there was cardboard boxes in areas that were just siting. Because this place is so full of product as is, the additional clutter made it even more of a nightmare. I'm thinking they are still trying to 'recover' from the holidays maybe. I tell everyone that this is the Costco of home goods stores. It's massive, with everything you could ever want to festoon your home. Prices are similar to a Hobby Lobby or Home Goods, but there's just a million more options. As such, it can be a little disorganized. read more

This place is massive and is hit or miss in term of finding what you want. We've visited several times and have purchased window treatments, dining chair cushions, and other items for our house. Prices are mostly reasonable but just know you're getting mass-produced items rather than the highest quality products. If you're okay with that, there's plenty here for you. read more

They have the best selection of ceramic pots in the area. Also they have the saucers that match up with the pots. That is not all, they have a tremendous selection on almost anything to do with home décor. The bar stools hundreds of them, tables, well lots of stuff. Service is not so great, I was moving pots around. I had 5 out on the floor, 3 attendants walked by me and never said a thing. This is a fun store. I recently got my artificial Christmas tree here- very affordable and a HUGE selection. I was able to find a pre-lit, 6-foot tree with clear lights. I actually went back with my sister a few months later to get the tree she wanted- tabletop, prelit, and we found exactly what she wanted! In addition to an abundance of holiday decor (whichever holiday is closest!) they have furniture and decor, as well. I guess they're owned by the same parent company as Garden Ridge, which I have heard great things about, too. While i wouldn't say the quality of an item from At Home is going to compare to Pottery Barn or something, they usually have plenty of options. Things I would buy here: end tables, planters, holiday decor, art for my walls, mugs, rugs, faux plants, mirrors, home organization items, and so much more. read more

We were looking for a used dresser and found At Home on Yelp's used furniture listings. At Home only sells new merchandise and, aside from a lot of chairs and some desks, they do not sell furniture. So listing their business as a used furniture store is misleading at b est. I gave them a star for having a lot of stuff that's interesting and fun and maybe I might go there for Halloween decorations. But it was a waste of time to drive there looking for a dresser. read more

We like the At Home in Raleigh, but this one wasn't as nice. Many of the shelves were so cluttered, with regular-priced items mixed with clearance, that we couldn't tell what was what. We also saw no employees on the floor. Another customer actually asked me a question because she couldn't find anyone else to ask! We spent 15/20 minutes waiting for someone to come help us get a frame. The blonde manager was nice and eventually a lady with dark hair came up and helped us. I wouldn't complain but when we got to the register the cashier (kaitlyn) rang us out. I wanted bags and she looked at me and sighed (i had asked for bags bc of the frames) and helped us eventually but i had started bagging prior while she stood and watched. Completely taking her time when i'm trying to hurry up bc of the line. I've been a cashier and have had my good days and bad days but she was rude and was probably one of the worst experiences i've had. I walked out without even signing up for rewards which i wanted to do but literally the only thing she muttered was our total , a sigh and a look of annoyance during the whole check out. even my sister was annoyed with the experience and it takes a lot to push her buttons. She was just rude and i don't mind bagging myself the entire experience was overall a bummer to the day. read more

This place is like Carolina Pottery on steroids! Aisle after aisle of "stuff" for the home from decorations to furniture, bedding, towels, and on and on. It's not the kind of place you can just run in to get what you need unless you really know what it is and where to find it. Needless to say we were tired by the time we left! They could furnish all the homes in Raleigh and still have items. I came here to see what art pieces I could find. There was about seven or eight aisles JUST ART. It was overwhelming actually. Metal art, canvas art, abstract art, Small art, medium art, large art. Or, if you already have art and just need frames, they have 3 aisles just for that. After 3 hours of sifting through piles of Live, Laugh, Loves and Marilyn Monroe's-I found some unique and affordable ($) items that looked similar to pieces I saw at Restoration Hardware (RH) for ($$$) Plan to shop here for a few hours if you are looking for multiple items for the house or to browse. Also, they have a website that can reserve items for store pickup if needed and it shows which stores have the item you are looking for online. I went online to see if they had any discounts available and they do have a welcome discount if you sign up for their email. Okay this is like Disneyland for adults who like a stylish home and a good deal. It's my go-to spot for frames and seasonal goodies. I know I sound like a basic white girl but I love me some At Home. I will say for what a huge store it is - like giant, think Ikea - there are about 2 people who work there at a given time so don't go in there thinking you're going to get much help. Still, the idea that you can peruse aisles of decorative pillows means that you know you're going to find something cute. As others have stated this place is a lot like Home Goods on steroids. They have just about everything you need to furnish your home on a budget. They carry a large selection of seasonal items so if you like to decorate for the holidays they are a must to check out. The quality of their stuff is a bit hit or miss so make sure to spend time looking over your items before checking out. Unless you are experiencing a medical emergency good luck finding someone to help you. My advice is to take it to the checkout counter to ask your question. I've purchased a few items that didn't work well in my space and they have taken them back with no problems. O.M.Gosh, we have an At Home in the area? How did I not know this?? I just recently moved into an townhouse and have found myself having a lot more space to fill. I'm a big fan of places like HomeGoods, Kirklands, and Tuesday Morning--At Home is very similar. But, there's a lot more variety! They carry more stools and decorative furniture pieces than those other stores. At Home's selection doesn't change much, but sometimes that's a good thing. You'll be able to find your curtain panels much easier (at the other stores, a lot of times, I find a pattern I love, only to be short 1 panel and not knowing if it'll be back in stock later). Their seasonal section is always filled with whatever you may need for your decorating needs at great prices. TL;DR: Need to decorate? Visit At Home! read more

Do not purchase a Christmas tree from them. I bought a brand new tree there last year and when I plugged it in, non of the lights came on. The customer service is awful. I have called 5 time and they keep saying the will escalate my message and someone will call back. No one has called back. We emailed them and they said they will send a new cord. It has been almost two weeks and we still don't have a cord. When I called the customer service number again, they are now saying they are out of cords and they don't know if there are any more in stock. I can't take the tree back because it has been more than 60 days. They got one star because I had to put at least one star. read more

This place has A TON of stuff; home decor, functional items for the kitchen and bathroom, organizational materials, rugs, furniture, outdoor decor and furniture. We got a good deal on a rug as it was 25-50% off, but don't expect great bargains on them otherwise. Their furniture is also very expensive for the quality it is. However,if you need a piece quickly, you could probably find it here. What I liked most about this place was it was awesome one stop shop after I moved and didn't have any of the small, necessary household items (toilet paper holder, sponge holder, bath/ kitchen rugs, outdoor bistro lighting, shelving. I'm giving 1 star because of the extremely rude worker that my family and I encountered tonight. My family and I were casually viewing each section, admiring the different pieces of each section. We arrived to the canvas art section, which featured marvel comics. My children were excited, as expected, and wanted to take some of the pictures off of the shelves to get a better view. My husband obliged, and sat some of the pictures side-by-side on the floor. My kids "oohed and aahh'd." We did not make a mess, and had only moved about 3 pictures. As we began to walk along, an apparently disgruntled worker called out to my husband, saying, "I KNOW YOU DIDN'T JUST MESS THIS UP AFTER I JUST PUT THESE PICTURES BACK ON THE SHELVES!" My husband and I turned around, shocked, and wondering if she was possibly talking to us. To our surprise and dismay, we both quickly realized that she was! I said to her, "well, we are certainly sorry!" The lady said "I MEAN, I JUST PUT THIS STUFF BACK ON THE SHELVES AND I KNOW YOU DIDN'T JUST MESS THIS UP!" Obviously frustrated, she forcefully put the canvas art back on the shelves, almost slamming them! Let me say, that this worker's attitude was appalling, unacceptable, rude, and angering! I was seriously considering making several purchases, but this worker angered me to the point where I was just ready to leave! So we did! I did not respond verbally like I wanted to, because my children were present and we strive to set good examples for them. After all, if you work in retail, you should expect things to get moved out of place by customers, but you should never yell and fuss at the customers for simply moving items around to get a better view of them. If something this menial angers a worker this much to the point of disrespecting a customer, then perhaps they should not work in customer service! Okay so I am a home decor junkie, i love a good deal and thats why i find this to be extremely cool. I have gotten some good deals on home decor stuff , i bought some cushions and bed covers that still look shiny and new. Some vases that are still intact after a year. You do have to check before buying for scuff marks/ chipped paint etc.They have an awesome supply of paintings , mirrors and vases. Their picture frame section wasn't super impressive as i couldn't find a whole lot of options for bigger than 4x8 pics. They always seem to be in the process of loading/ unloading the painting section so i haven't had a chance to look it through very much. At times i have found their shelves mostly empty (usually the kitchen section) which makes me wonder if they keep stocking and running out of stuff or its just that they don't stock a whole lot of kitchen stuff. Over all i love the store. The stuff is good quality for the most part. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of staff around every-time i have been there but the few folks who are there are nice and courteous. read more
