This place used to have the worst service and inventory ever, but they appear to be turning it around! Chris from paint was especially instrumental in making this a 3 star instead of the 1 star it used to be. Chris took a significant amount of time to help me acquire an item (gift) from the top shelf of an isle and then some materials needed for a repair. The items took us all over the store and about 30 min total but he was patient and helpful the entire time. I also had a really good customer service experience where I left something at the self checkout, called, and it was waiting for me the next time I came in. If this trend keeps up I will be updating this to a 4 or 5 in no time! read more

We purchased a Bosch refrigerator, paid for delivery, an extended warranty and take away of the old one. Based on previous appliances purchases, we assumed the new refrigerator would be delivered, installed and ready to go. The first "surprise" was that the installers cannot connect the water line to the ice maker. We were told we needed a plumber to do this - nobody ever said this at time of purchase, nor have we ever had this experience with previous purchases. This refrigerator was literally dumped in our kitchen with the only service being the unwrapping of the unit - which unveiled a large ding and scratch on the top. The installers called their contact and we were given a substantial discount, however, this in NO WAY makes up for the inconvenience and horrific experience of this purchase and delivery. We were inundated with trying to level, connect, set temperatures and attach parts that we know nothing about with technical instructions that are confusing and difficult to understand. This entire experience is horrific and I cannot even begin to express my dissatisfaction with the purchase and subsequent "service." read more

World's worst customer service, condescending manager, customer blaming. Idiotic customer support. I ordered a vanity through Lowe's online. I got emails and texts for a week saying it would be delivered on Saturday, 12-July-2025, between the hours of 12:00 and 4:00 PM. I took the day off work and had a plumber lined up. At 2:00 PM, ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY IN THE DELIVERY WINDOW, I got an email saying the delivery would be DELAYED 11 DAYS. No phone call, no text. It blew my entire day, as well as the plumber, who charged me for canceling at the last minute. When I called the store and asked to speak to a manager, I got a total runaround. "The web site says we can't guarantee a delivery date." And basically told me "too bad." I tried to say, look, the delivery was scheduled and got canceled two hours into the window. "Nothing we can do." Oh, it's my fault. Right. So I canceled the order and emailed customer service asking them to make this right. They emailed me back and said, "we're oh so sorry, but we cannot find your order. Call the store." The customer service people had no idea that I had canceled the order. Or that I had even placed one, even though I included the order info in the email. What did I expect? Notification at least a day ahead of time that the delivery was going to be 11DAYS LATE. NOT on the same day, 2 hours into the window. And, "we're sorry sir, we screwed this up and cost you money for your plumber, here's a credit for a few bucks." Something. But no. Screw you customer. And "I'm gonna hang up on you," which the store manager did. I was being courteous and friendly, just being persistent. And I got hung up on. "Your problem customer, leave me alone." I will never set foot in this or any other Lowe's again. I get that other stores are just as bad at times, but this is total BS. I also get that people make mistakes. But you don't blame the customer like this store did and tell them to basically F-off. At least you shouldn't if you want their business ever again. read more

We had a Whirlpool washing machine ordered online and delivered August 11th, 2025 Monday from store location Lowe's in Longmont through a third party contractor Lowe's hires. The washing machine was defective and flooded our floor gushing water from underneath the machine. The 18004456937 Lowe's customer service was helpful contacting Longmont Lowe's appliance department and spoke with the appliance manager Mike explaining that this was an urgent matter. He scheduled the third party to look for a water leak on 8/13 Wednesday. The third party verified the machine was malfunctioning and advised us to phone Lowe's Longmont store an hour later to schedule the machine being picked up and swapped for a working washing machine. The contractor informed us it would take at least an hour for Lowe's store to have the notes they wrote. We phoned Lowe's Longmont and the sales employee in appliances told me we would have to contact the third party contractor to make these arrangements. She explained she did not have the notes from the contractor and did not have contact information for the contractor. My response is we purchased this machine from Lowe's, it was delivered from the Longmont Lowe's location and we have only had this machine since 8/112025 when it immediately malfunction. We ask to speak with a manager and she said there wasn't one available. My husband then said if this isn't resolved he will load the washer in his pick up and drop it at their store. Next the employee said s she will get the manager. Steve addressed himself as the manager at Lowe's Longmont on 8/13. He said they do not receive the notes from the third party contractor. He explained he would order a pick up for Friday 08/15/2025. Thursday 8/14 I phoned Lowe's 18004456937 customer service to confirm pick up scheduled 8/15. The Lowe's Customer service DID NOT have this machine scheduled to pick up. Manager STEVE at LONGMONT LOWES appliances never scheduled the pick up. If I had not followed through to confirm this I would have been inconvenienced waiting with a window from 8am to 8pm. The 800 customer service has been accommodating and as helpful as possible throughout this entire experience. The machine is scheduled for another day and we have confirmation through email from Lowe's 800 customer support team. I will never recommend Lowe's Longmont to purchase appliances. read more

Beware! Bought a Bosch dishwasher at this Lowe's in 2022 and had them deliver and install it. Worked fine for nearly 2 years and then abruptly died one day. After checking that the breaker and GFCI were working, pulled the dishwasher to check the power to the unit. Upon opening the junction box, discovered that the wiring and connectors had completely burned up. The box comes with the installation kit from Bosch. Don't know if the item was defective, but I strongly suspect that it was improperly installed. We were lucky the house didn't burn down. Called Lowe's and they only warranty their work for a year (without the extended warranty). It's probably for the best as I wouldn't trust them to repair this anyway. I recommend that you get a licensed electrician to install any electrical appliance and do not trust Lowe's. read more

They sent us an email stating that Bob Behrends Roofing would contact us within 2 business days. After 3 days had elapsed and Behrends had not contacted us, we called Lowe's at the number on the email, 1-877-477-1115. They told us, "Oh, yes, I see a note in our system that says we do not have a roofing company that services your area." When we pointed out that, instead of sending us an email saying a roofer had been assigned, they should have let us know they did not service our area, the phone was silent: no apology, nothing. I then called areputable roofing company in Longmont with good reviews that scheduled our roofing inspection and quote while I was on the phone. The lesson I learned: Do not email Lowe's which is just a referral service with no customer support when you can call the contractor yourself. Duh. read more

I really like Lowes in general for product availability. They often stock the hardware I need when doing projects around the house. I'm not a big fan on the lumber quality, but I could say the same for Home Depot. In my experience, the employees have always been courteous, but not always trained on the department they are servicing when I'm looking for specific items. Also, they are not available in a reasonable amount of time. I find myself having to hunt them down. Again, the same for Home Depot. The point of this review is that, yea, I will continue to shop here, but I'd like more experienced and available folks on the floor. read more

The worst part of losing my home in a fire was dealing with Lowe's in Longmont. Bunch of teenagers employed there who have no business dealing in expensive appliances. First range we received was completely destroyed. Delivery drivers never showed up with the replacement and did not communicate with us. I waited for hours until I had to call and find out that they didn't even have the range in stock. This was after sitting on hold for over 30 minutes. After moving into the house we tried out the dishwasher, which we did not like and wanted to exchange. Customer service was completely useless and refused, stating their 48-hour return policy. The house was a new construction. We couldn't try it until the entire home was completed a month later. Bulllllllllshit company. Go to Appliance Factory, they treat their customers well and actually know what they're talking about. This Lowes came in with the trifecta, bad service, bad lumber, and bad stock. I was trying to find a rip fence for my dewalt circular saw that I had already checked was available on the website. I spoke to Mark and he seemed to be busy. He shrugged me off and said," the only thing we have is (this brand) and it's over there." (Not even I finger point.) I wandered "over there." And came to the conclusion that Mark didn't understand what I needed so I decided to look on my phone again. Then he comes over to tell me that what I want is overpriced at $180 and I don't want it anyway. The actual item I need is about $15...very standard piece for a circular saw...I have no X lie what he was saying but it wasn't helpful. Then while looking for lumber that wasn't jacked (good luck) someone actually told me I was in the way because they needed to use the lift in that aisle. Okay. I'm sorry. Finally, while checking out, one of the pieces of lumber didn't have a barcode. I was able to say specifically what it was, 3/4 x 12" x 8' paint grade spruce shelving. No effort to look it up, a second employee comes and says, "how much was it?" I'm not sure...around $20. "We need to know how much it costs." Okay...but I don't WORK at Lowes...so rather than call anyone in the department or anything like that, they had me walk back to the lumber section on the opposite side of the store and take a picture of the barcode. Let me share the saga of the dishwasher. We have had a Lowe's card for a while and in general we were happy. Now Lowe's is on my family blacklist. April 13th- dishwasher dies in a puff of smoke. Literally April 16th - head to Lowe's to buy a new dishwasher. Find one we like. April 23rd - Dishwasher is installed. I am guessing it is run for a bit. Not sure, installer left without checking in with me. First load of dishes, error code. Check error, list of things for the installer to check. Call Lowe's "customer service" line. Not much help, but they are sending someone. May 1st - installer comes back. Unplugged, plugged back in. Starts a cycle. He tells me "I don't fix them, you have to call Lowe's." Call Lowe's, wait on hold 45 min. Cycle to customer service a few times. Placed on mute hold. Give up and call back. Get a person who doesn't seem to know what to do because it is going to be another week to get the replacement. No way to expedite this. He says he will call back. I am now 100% done with Lowe's and I decide to call our appliances people for help. (Appliances people get to us in 2 days. Part on order and will be fixed tomorrow. Cracked valve) You would think the saga ends there, oh no. May 5th/6th - someone from Lowe's calls wife gets a call that we need to pay for our order. No clue, she finally figures out they want us to pay for a replacement and another install for a broken product. No, not happening. The Lowe's person says they will check and get back. They call back. We can have someone come get the dishwasher, once it is back in inventory, they will order a new one for us. We decline the "offer" as we have a repair happening soon. Is this done? Nope. May 8th - Adrienne gets a text that our install is scheduled for Friday. I call customer service to cancel the install. Because it seems that the store may be an issue I call the store. I ask for appliances and sit on hold for 23 min. Finally reach a human. I ask for a manager. Three min wait and they come on the line. Not bad for the manager wait. I explain that I want to ensure that there are no orders or issues that will cause more problems. The manager says they are not sure what to do. I try to clarify, the manager starts to say something like, " an install issue we would..." (hold music). I say hello a couple times and wait about 5 min before hanging up. If another call or text about an install from Lowe's happens I am going to the store in person. This is so bad. read more

Based on a recent 1-room carpet installation, we will choose to go elsewhere next time. There seems to be exactly one competent person working in flooring, possibly in the entire store, and his name is Jason. Without him this would have been a 1-star review. What went wrong? First, for the carpet style we wanted, the samples on display are no longer listed in the system, and the carpets available in the system are not on display. So you can order blindly, or do a special (difficult) order of one of their sample colors, which is what Jason did for us. Second, when I went to pay for it with a gift card, they told me it only had $5 on it, when it actually had over $700. This caused a huge hassle for me. Third, when the carpet guys showed up to install it, the wrong carpet had been ordered and/or shipped. Fourth and finally, on the second installation attempt, the rude New Yorker doing the installation left a big gap between pads that we could feel with our feet. The installers had to come out a third time to fix it. read more

I had just a wonderful experience here a few days ago. The fellow working in the Paint department was super helpful and matched up my paint sample even though it was not the brand they carry. I then when to the Flooring department and had a helpful guy who helped me find the right color of Grout caulk. The guy I want to tell you about, though, works in Appliances. I think his name is Steven, and although it was clear that what I wanted to buy was not in stock, he spent at least 15 minutes with me giving me information about how to get information about the appliance from the manufacturer. I need to get installation details that don't seem to be on the 'web, and he gave me tips about how I might get what I need. Then he took the time to ask me if I was looking for anything else and walked me to that department. WOW! Three for three. It was a great experience at Lowe's. read more

My husband and I found a great deal on a refrigerator over 4th of July. We purchased it in store including next day delivery. The next day rolls around and they said it'd be delivered between 8-12. At 11, they called my husband saying that they didn't have it in stock so they wouldn't be delivering it. I had been waiting all morning (hoping they didn't come during my baby's nap). He called the store and turns out they don't even have the fridge we ordered in their system and they actually couldn't get it in. So he went in and purchased a new fridge, however he was told because it was a return and repurchase they wouldn't be able to deliver it to our house. So they sent him home to install it himself. What horrible customer service. I'm so disappointed, the least they could do is make it right when they messed up, selling us product they didn't have and then leaving us to take care of removal and install (which we had paid them to do in the first place). Lowes, Longmont CO. I would go anywhere else. The entire process from beginning to end is a nightmare. Trying to get some relief from a bad product install required many phone calls, many transfers to many "associates" and each time I had to start all over again. I ordered a Pella patio sliding glass door. (Cheap cheap quality) The ordering in itself took weeks as the two 'elders' in Mill Works had little to no clue and provided lots of misinformation. Once the order was place Lowes had no problem taking my money and billing my credit card. Two months later the door is installed, and looks like crap. Hangs with a half inch gap at the top. The problem is not the install, the door and frame itself is not square. They offered me 10% for the inconvenience. oh joy! I'll have another two month wait for another install. It's August. Maybe by Christmas. Hopefully its not the same crap quality. Expect to be jerked around if you shop here. "I don't know..." is a standard reply from them. read more

Worst service ever .... I have been shopping at the Longmont Lowe's for over 10 years and have had excellent service - up to this point . I have purchased everything from hardware to lumber to many large appliances . Most recently I purchased a new stove for a rental . The delivery was an absolute nightmare . I purchased it online on a Thursday , delivery for Friday after 1:00. The website allowed me to schedule it and gave me a choice of delivery times . Friday came - no delivery . At 8:00 that evening , I'm told that because I purchased it online after 4:00, there was no way it could be delivered . That it hadn't been added to the delivery manifest for Friday . So , I scheduled the delivery with an associate on the phone for Saturday . No delivery ... they said they came by and someone yelled at them from the window - which is not true . They went to the wrong address . They promised to deliver it Sunday .... tenant again stayed home all day - no delivery . After repeated phone calls , we finally got it scheduled for Wednesday and it was finally delivered and installed . My tenant took 4 day's off work to get this thing delivered when 1/2 a day should have been sufficient . I tried speaking with the manager on duty several times , they were not helpful . Might be the last big purchase I ever make at this store . Horrible customer service abs absolutely no follow up store management . read more

Lowe's Carpet and Installation Summary: Overall we were very pleased with the entire experience, would use Lowe's again. Details: We looked around at Carpet Mill, Carpet Exchange, and some others and found Lowe's had great communication and prices were comparable to others. We decided to get carpet on the 4th of July because of the free installation special. We paid $35 for measurement that was not refundable, but was applied to order when we decided to go through them. It took about 4 weeks for the carpet to be received because it was on back order. The carpet install and measurement was outsourced to Wolf flooring. Purchased on July 16 and install was complete on August 16. The install went well and took 2 days. All carpet and pad was pulled and hauled away. We paid them to move the furniture and they did okay. Used Lowe's credit card to save 5%. Cost Breakdown: ~1500 sq ft 12 waterfall steps 23 ft of custom upholstery Carpet was SOS Willowy and Stainmaster Carpet pad $3.53 / sq ft Total was $5800 prior to %5 off and was $5400 with %5 Lowe's credit card. After thoughts: The installers did vacuum, but did not vacuum out the heater vents because there was carpet strands in there. I did this and vacuumed the carpet a second time, as the installers did an okay job. Communication was great. The carpet looks great and would use Lowe's again. read more

Before I rave, my one and only rant is that sometimes they are very short-staffed, and it can be hard to find someone to help you. That being said- I love this Lowe's! The staff (when you can find them) ALWAYS know what they're talking about. The paint guys have been home builders, contractors, painters. The staff in the plumbing area showed us how to fix and replace our sprinklers. The guys in the hardware area showed me what screws and bits I would need to build my first DIY bookshelf. The carpet gal listened to my plans and gave me reasonable ideas. The man in the door area suggested a DIY route that would save me about $1500, that he himself had done successfully in the past. Half of the staff knows me by name (I'm in there ALL THE TIME it seems like). I really enjoy doing business with "my lowe's". read more

Have to call it quits going to Lowe's. Spent 30 minutes trying to return 4 items using my Lowe's Credit Card and My Lowe's Card. They could not find any of the items. Eventually I was able to find the receipt for one of them, and the cashier did not know why when scanning the My Lowe's Card the system could not find the transaction. I then inquired why when I used my Lowe's Credit Card it did not allow me to have an emailed receipt. She said Lowe's was behind on embracing technology, and to call customer service. So I called the Lowe's Customer Service Line to complain about not being able to search for purchased items, and was referred to the Corporate Customer Service Line where they said the system was old and had issues and did not have this capability. Bottom line if Lowe's Senior Management does not embrace technology, such as emailed receipts when using the Lowe's Credit Card and/or having receipts tracked in a mobile device then this company is doomed. Bottom line... Go To Other Home Improvement stores before wasting your time at Lowe's or just plan to spend large chunks of your time when trying to return items. read more

We purchased a new dishwasher as ours finally bit the bullet, and they said it would have to be ordered, which was fine. We were told it would be in by 5 to 7 days (Monday was the 7th day mark). The salesperson assured us that they would call as soon as it came in, as we had indicated that ours is out of the running and having 4 kids at home, we really rely heavily on our dishwasher. We heard nothing, we called on Tuesday after hearing nothing on Monday, only to be told that we had to wait for that salesperson to come in because they couldn't find it. Unfortunately he didn't' work until later that evening, Ok, so we went on with life and of-course no call came. We called again on Thursday and after quite a wait on the line I was told that they did indeed find it, and it had been there for 4 or 5 days already. Friday we went to pick it up, only to be told it wasn't there, but after my husband reiterated to the lady that we had called and they had said they actually did set eyes on it only the day before, she went and looked again with another employee and they did indeed find our dishwasher. Ugh! What a hassle! Meanwhile we are happy with our new dishwasher, and happy to report all children who are above the age of 5 know how to do dishes by hand, quite well. read more
