These huge home improvement stores could sell a whole lot more, if there were more employees around to help a puzzled customer. I hate having to look for someone to help me. One the lighter note, I do like the self check out and also going to the Cashiers. Either way is fine with me. The store is very organized and clean. Also, when a person is working on there home and waiting to check out, they have bottled water for sale. What a life saver. Overall, they are a good operation and fair prices.

Delivered.

3 stars for overall experience. I've made plenty of online orders and only one was cancelled, which was a custom paint order. Lost a coupon offer because of that, but not a deal breaker. The curbside pickup has worked for me, 0/2 times. I've learned my lesson and go inside every time for online orders now. Waited almost 15 minutes once, 10 minutes the next time. Last time I came here to do a return at 9am in the morning - Had to wait at least 15 minutes while 4-5 employees were figuring out whatever it was going on. Only two customers were being helped in front of me. There's been a couple time I've had to grab something from the store shelves and the app is mostly accurate when needing to pinpoint an item down to the aisle and section.

I love this Lowe's because (a) it has everything, literally everything, and (b) the associates are generally super knowledgeable. I walked in once with a string trimmer that would not start, and a guy spotted me from afar and had it running in 30 seconds. I hate this Lowe's because (a) it's pretty much impossible to find something you haven't seen before without the specific guidance of an associate, and (b) there are about 1/4 the number of people working here at any given moment than there should be. On a given Saturday afternoon, prime time for home improvement, there was literally no one working on the left side of the store. I know, because I walked every aisle hunting for someone. I had to do this because all the call buttons for assistance were broken (I'd speculate intentionally, by someone who doesn't want to have to respond). Hire more people, for God's sake - people need assistance in stores like this.

So today I had a semi emergency plumbing issue. I got on the phone and called over to Lowe's while I was driving towards the store because it was getting kind a late and I got connected to a super helpful associate name Matthew. He was so wonderfully friendly and helpful and didn't give me grief for trying to talk to him on the phone about my plumbing issues. This is the reason I come to the store. The employees are so much better than that orange big box store down the street. I also had occasion to run into an employee named Attley who is also exceptionally friendly and kind. Today was a good day at Lowe's I got everything I needed and everybody was super nice

This is a really great Lowe's. I've been here before over the years, but since we just bought a house we seem to be in here a good bit lately. We're trying to get everything ready before we actually make the move and Lowe's has everything we need. We picked out and purchased new carpeting here for the entire house. We also got paint from here since we're repainting most of the rooms. We also purchased a bathtub insert thingy (what are those called again? LOL). Those were the big purchases. We've also picked up little things like a new outdoor light fixture for the front porch (we wanted one with a sensor), pully things for ceiling fans, and even some new outlets that have USB ports in them. Who knew they make outlets with USB ports?! I stumbled on these while we were walking around and did a frickin' happy dance right there in the aisle! LOL And yes, as a matter of fact, I did have my bright green Mike Wazowski hat on so people were really looking at me funny! Hahaha The employees have been really helpful and knowledgeable. Trust me, I've had a lot of questions about some things. Shopping here has been just an all around great shopping experience. I know we'll be back before the move to pick up more items, and I've also got my eye on some things for our new pool area. Yep, people, we now have a pool! WhooHoo!!

It's coming. Ho ho ho.

Why 3 stars..... 1. As you make eye contact with staff on the floor, they turn and walk away. 2. When you win the game of chase, the staff member openly shows contempt. 3. When you can't find the item you want and staff tells you it is in stock at 2 other stores....(No exaggeration, this happened yesterday). Me: Is there a way to have the item delivered to this store? Staff: Ma'am, you should go and get it yourself. That way you'll get it quicker and it won't be broken. Hmmmm, silly me. I should have driven to a store across town in the first place instead frequenting the one in my area. Other than these experiences,... It's clean. You can usually find items you want. They are great with helping you with Christmas trees. Close parking is usually available.

We purchased a Vissani and looked the owner straight in the eyes, demanding to know what type of…read morewarranty this unit included. He confidently told us there was a one-month warranty from the store, and if we registered it, we would receive the factory warranty. In February, we discovered that the unit had stopped working. When we contacted the manufacturer, they informed us that they couldn't honor the warranty because the unit was sold by an unauthorized dealer. I took this critical information back to the store and confronted the owner, who shockingly attempted to sell me a freezer that I wouldn't even consider placing in a rundown property. I made it very clear that I'm not struggling financially and could easily buy a new freezer from Home Depot. However, I was reassured that I had a warranty on the unit I purchased from him. The owner then tried to push another unit on me and dismissed my concerns, claiming he couldn't do anything. If you're running a business, you need to stand behind your products. If you knew I couldn't get the unit warranted, why would you mislead me? This is unacceptable business practice. If you choose to shop there, ensure they can guarantee that your unit is covered by the manufacturer. Otherwise, you risk it sitting at the roadside waiting for the trash man after nearly five months. Don't let the reviews deceive you; bad business will always be bad business. Before you leave the store, make sure the unit has a serial number on the back. Don't get trapped like I did.

The nightmare is finally over and now I will tell the tale of my experience with Appliance…read morewarehouse. The information I gave you going forward is facts only. At the end of this factual encounter, I will then leave my opinion as a customer. I have been using this company for close to one year. There was one month where I was two weeks late with my payment. Within that time frame I had changed banks and was in the process of updating all my bills with the current checking account and debit card information. When you make a payment to this company online, it automatically saves your information on the website. Before I could update this company with my new bank information and not being on auto pay, it automatically charged my old checking account. I've been incurred any chargeback fees from this company because of it. This was middle of May. Since then, I still haven't received a refund for that. They charged my bank account without my permission and do not have any ideas of returning any NSF fees for it. On June 10th I decided to continue using this company and put in a request for a transfer to my new apartment. There is a transfer fee of $40 to do this. I paid this ahead of time, so the payment of $60 was made on June 10th, to cover the transfer fee and the monthly payment. I put in a request to have the washer and dryer delivered to my new apartment on June 13. Not only was it not delivered on June 13, but it wasn't delivered when they rescheduled on the 15th, nor when they rescheduled on the 17th, but I finally received on the 21st of June. When I finally got a washer and dryer on 21 June, the delivery guys showed up with both the washer and dryer and told me in reference to the dryer, that because the plug is different on the wall, I would have to get my maintenance man to change the plug in the wall because it doesn't match the plug coming out of the dryer. I called customer service, they said the delivery man never should've said that and he should have fixed it right then in there as they have different plugs with them all the time. Lucky for me I'm in an apartment complex where the maintenance team gives a damn. The super nice maintenance man changed out the plug for me when he really didn't have to. I was so happy to finally have a washer and dryer. I put in my first load of laundry in the washer worked fine. Then I put all the wet laundry into the dryer. I ran it for three hours because every time I checked on it it was hot and wet. I reported this to customer service that the dryer was not acting right. I said to them that this was it, I am done, come and get both your washer and dryer and I will never do business with you again, and I better get that refund. It is now June 23, the delivery guy just picked up the washer and dryer, dropped nasty filthy went from the aluminum dryer vent all over my pristine outside porch which I had to clean up. I have emailed customer service to refund me back the money deserved. Now my opinion: run, don't walk, the washer and dryer units are from back in the 70s and if they don't have Covid all in them they've got some kind of disgusting mold and dirt that you can smell. I'll be honest with you I believe that if I had used a washer and dryer at the local laundromat, I would've felt as if they were cleaner than what was delivered to me. Don't be as desperate as I was getting a washer and dryer from these people. Make that trip to the laundromat, work some overtime, Uber your neighbors, do something to get up the money to buy a decent used set. That's exactly what I'm going to do.

DO NOT RENT from here. Although the stacked washer and dryer they rented to me were brand new, I…read morethink I just got blessed. The problems immediately started when I contacted them for a pick up because I was moving, over the phone when I called I was informed that my account was moved to collections and if I wanted to have them picked up I needed to talk to "collections" (a debt collector agency)which I thought was odd. So I was switched over to collections and was told they only do pick ups once a month I was not allowed to negotiate any day convenient to my schedule but only theirs. I needed to move the 28th they wanted the washer and dryer the 2nd which clearly did not work for me. I asked the debt collector could she explain how my account was put into collections when I've never missed any payments she was very rude and nasty and told me I owed almost $1k in debt but if I agreed to a pickup my debt was completely wiped clean! Like what kind of sense does that even make I rent these machines never agreed to own as their policy states you can never own the washers or dryers they rent out. Then I called the company "Appliance warehouse" again and asked could they please explain how my account was put into collections with $1k worth of debt and they refused to give me a answer but switched me over again to the debt collection agency. My payments were only $55 a month for that much debt I would have missed almost 2yrs worth of payments! I've been researching this company and there is not an actual building or location in my city or even the next. On the pickup day I have received over 16 text messages of constant time changes for the specific pickup! I believe this is a Ponzi scheme company scamming and preying on people for a quick buck...you've been warned.
