This location isn't the problem but Lowe's as a whole is an issue. Took me a month to get my patio set and now I'm getting the run around on getting my washer fixed even though I bought the warranty. My washer is only 3 years old and shut down completely. They schedules the warranty company to come in a Saturday.... That company is closed Saturdays. Setup an appt for Monday. Lowe's cancelled the appt without notice because they needed to setup a different warranty claim without letting us know. And finally I was on hold with NEAL from the call service, he's supposedly a supervisor, for over an hour trying to get a direct line to someone who can help more. Do not buy from lowes. Beware of missing pieces in boxes. We bought a light set and brought it home come to find out it was missing the WiFi connector, hooks, and screws so we couldn't even work the thing. My husband brought it back and wanted to exchange it for a similar item but they were going to charge him more for it because "it had a different sku". The manager LINDA refused to do anything about it, and attributed it to people coming in to "five finger discount" pieces out of boxes and that they can't control that. Well, duh LINDA but what you can control is the customer service you give to actual PAYING customers who visit their local Lowe's store frequently. Back in November 2023, we requested someone from Lowe's to come to our house and measure for a new cooktop stove and in-wall oven. It was a couple of weeks before a guy from Lowe's partner, Premier Logistics, stopped by, measured, and took photos. Weeks passed. There was little communication between the companies. I finally got the ball rolling, and the appliances were installed on January 24. As one of the two installers from Premier brought in the new appliances into the kitchen on a dolly, it gouged one of my cabinet doors. We all heard it, but they chose not to acknowledge it. Now I have to have the gouge and a second scrape repaired. That same day I had the installer partner of Home Depot put in a new dishwasher, only three working days after I ordered it. He did no damage. Take-home message: Do NOT buy appliances at Lowe's. They simply don't know what they are doing. read more

My Name is David Scott and I usually don't take time to do reviews but this one was definitely necessary. The carpet in my house was just nasty and I needed to replace it so I went to Lowe's and found some tile that I really liked. Unfortunately for me it was the most expensive tile in the store. I talked with the flooring department and decided that I wanted it. We agreed on a price $19,928.95 for the complete install. That was having Lows move all my furniture, install the tile, adding baseboards, and move the furniture back. That seemed like a lot of money to me, but I wanted the best. During the install, I got to know the installers. It was a father and son team with one other helper guy. The guy complained continually about his pay from Lowe's. He stated these were huge tiles and Lows need to pay him more to install them. I felt bad for him. As the days rolled on into weeks, I got to know him better and he started telling me about his life. Apparently his mother had cancer and was going through a lot. One day he called me and said he couldn't make it in because his truck was broken. The next day when he came to work at my house, he asked for 200 bucks to get his truck running. I thought this is a little strange, but I lent it to him anyway because I felt for him. He promised me faithfully that he would give me the money back the next Wednesday. At this point we were at the end of the job there were only a few tiles left, and several yards of baseboard to install. After he left that day, he never came back, and I never saw him again. He did, butt dial me on his phone one time cause I have his number and he has mine. He just hung up immediately when I answered, I thought maybe he was calling to explain what was happening in his life. I really thought this through and decided I did not want to screw this guy at his job, so I just figured I'd have somebody else finish it. It seemed to me he had enough going on in his life and I don't like kicking somebody when they're down. That said, tiles not the only thing I had going on at the house I had to install new doors on all the rooms and new closet doors because the tile raised the floor. I did not see that coming. I went down to Avante doors and picked out some doors and had a crew from Avanti come to install them. The Avante crew was absolutely professional, and excellent in their job. They had to drill into the tile in my bedroom closet for a bracket. When they did the tile cracked there was not enough thin set on the back of the tile. That's what caused the break. The guy from Avanti said he had a tile guy that he would call to fix the broken tile. When the new tile guy came out, he fixed the broken tile and assessed what needed to be done tile wise to finish the job lows had started. He called me over and explained that he had bad news for me. He showed me where the floor transitioned from cement to wood. He said all this tile has to come up and showed me an area where the tile that was already cracked that I haddent noticed yet. He said all this tile is going to crack because you need to have a barrier in between the wood and the tile. All tile layers know this. He said this process is standard industry practice. Everybody knows about it. So this is where my attitude changed about the Lowe's tile setters. They had to know what they were doing wasn't right and did it anyway. It's their job to know. At this point, I called the Lows Instilation Support phone number and explained what I had going on. The lady from Lowe's installation support told me that because I had Avante doors install some baseboard to help finish the job, my contract with lowe's was null and void. This was not acceptable to me so I went to my local Lowe's on boulder highway where I had a talk with management. Management informed me that they had no say over the installing department. I asked the manager to call the installation department and see what she could do to help me. In my view baseboards have nothing to do with a tile installation, but it was clear to me that they were looking for a way to make my contract with Lowe's void. I called Instilation Support again and they said they'd have a supervisor come out and look at the job. I believe it was the same guy that initially surveyed the job and gave me a price. He stated the installation was definitely wrong and he would call me on Monday with Lows answer. Monday came and went with no interaction from Lows. I called on Tuesday. The person I talked to on the phone told me they would come out and fix the laundry room. Where the tile has been installed improperly. I was very happy with this decision, and expected them to come out and do it. A week went by with radio silence. I called Lows Instilation Support phone number once again. All of a sudden Lows told me that they would not fix the tile because Avante doors had laid some baseboard and my Lowe's guarantee was null and void. When the toilet handle breaks and your husband is gone, you head to Lowe's. I honestly wouldn't have known where to look to find the piece I needed so I looked on the Lowe's app to find the exact location in the store. It was correct right down to the aisle and bay numbers. To my surprise I was actually approached by a store employee asking if I needed help with anything. That usually never happens, it's usually me trying to hunt someone down. But this time around I knew right where to find what I needed. I usually go to this location for paint and it's always been good for the most part. They've even helped me match paint that I didn't actually have the original can of. They offer 10 percent military/veterans discount, which is nice when you're buying something expensive. read more

I have gone to Lowes and hired them previously for small jobs in my home. About three months ago I went and ordered custom counters and sinks to be installed in my two bathrooms. Lowes required that I pay for the items and the labor up front. This made me nervous because, if anything happened, I would have no recourse. The installer, Caliber, came and installed the sinks and counters. We found out the back splashes were incorrectly cut. I asked Caliber to take those backsplashes and Lowes was notified that the backsplashes were incorrectly cut. Before Caliber left, they wanted me to sign off on the job. I refused to do so because the job was not complete. Now, all this time later, I called Lowes to find out where my new backsplashes were. The installation support department told me that this job had been signed off on and the installer had been paid. This should not have been done since I did not sign off on the job. I will be requesting a copy of the document that shows my signature signing off on the job since I know I did not sign it. Finally, Lowes found the work order for the new backsplashes. I was told their system shows they are in and they were going to "find" them and call the installer. So, what I was worried about in the beginning has come to pass. Everyone has been paid and I am left with two bathrooms that are incomplete and have no recourse. I am looking into having new showers installed in both bathrooms and yes, I will never be using Lowes again. read more

We bought a security screen door from Lowe's in November 2020. We were not informed about the difference between each door, as apparently we just found out there are MAJOR differences! So, to make a long story short, someone came out to take measurements of our door frame and Lowe's ordered the door. Well, come time to install the door, only to find out the company made an error and welded the door hinges backwards!!! Back to square one and another door needed to be ordered! Because of the pandemic, shortage of materials and install date had to be scheduled for July 13, 2021!!! The guy FINALLY installs our door and when he's done, there are BIG gaps on the side where the hinges are and on the bottom!!! OMG!!! He tells us there are more expensive doors that seal all the way around! Why are we only finding out about that NOW! Be very careful when buying doors from Lowe's!!! read more

I was about to walk out. It's a shame because if one walks into an Ace for example, the associates don't ignore the customers. When I walked into Lowe's today, clearly searching for an aisle, I walked by several employee's, but not ONE stopped me. Twice I walked by 2 associates yakking it up with a couple about non-hardware issues. I'm not a b**** usually, so I didn't interrupt. Then I spotted the area I needed. I made my way to the other side of the store where lawn and garden is, thinking how sad for the owners to not be represented well by people who should be giving GREATcustomer service since consumers have so many options now-a-days. As I was deciding which weed killer to get, I heard, "are you finding everything you need or do you have any questions?" I almost told him no since I was frustrated and just wanted to get out of this non existent customer service place, but I said "yes, in fact, I do..." Maybe he was the manager? But whomever he is, Jason was on the name tag, needs to be the trainer of other associates. True, genuine service is innate, I think. He even gave me two unsolicited tips about our weed killing task. Buyer Beware. I went to Lowes to do a 638 sq.ft. carpet deal. Lowes came out measured. Told me it was 638 sq. ft. They said that the carpet that I picked was $7.20/ sq. ft. all in including premium padding and installation. When I got the quote they were going to charge me for 820 sq. ft. I explained to them that they could not install with padding 820 sq. ft. into a 638 sq. ft. section. They did not care. It sounds like fraud to me. Walked up to the very last cashier mind you the only one that has open and waited for 30 seconds as the older Mexican lady who decides to wear sunglasses in the middle of the day refuses to even acknowlege me, then some large guy with a red beardshows up. After he signs he asks me how I'm doing. I try to pay for four lowes 4 buckets with a gift card and I had to get becuse of a previous return. Red beard rells me that the ID does not match the gift card. And I won't be able to use it. After a little back and forth he summons a mgr to help. She tells me there's nothing she can do. I ask to speak to a different mgr who never shows him or her self. I'm walked over to returns Where I'm told that someone put in the wrong ID number so after 25 minutes I get my 4 buckets and I'm out the door. I don't know what manager she was talking to but if any manager reads this please talk to your employees about acknowledging a customer when he walks up and secondly I have no problem with flirtation in the workplace but if the male employees can please keep the grab a** to a minimum when I'm already p-od and I want to walk out of the store that would be great. read more

Been shopping at this store for years. Brought in some blinders I purchased to exchange for a different color. I was told by 2 employees and later Amy, a manager, that I was not I their system and so I could not return the item because I had purchased the item with cash rather than card, and their system does not keep track of cash purchases. I grew up in a world where stores accepted returns, especially for returning clients. I too run a large company and operate this way. They were able to pull up the item and I had 3 employees tell me, including Amy, that they were confused that the item was in their system, but that it required a physical receipt to be returned. I have been shopping here for 40 years and was told I was not in their system and that they had recently upgraded their systems. Life is stressful, running a business sucks, and dealing with customers is a pain in the ass, but this was an easy home run and Lowes flopped today. I will be shifting most my purchases to competitors. When you hear the market cap of Home Depot being almost double that or Lowes, there should be no confusion. HOME DEPOT carries the same products, but values their returning customers. read more

We went in search for a new Lowe's after having multiple poor experiences at the one on Marks. They really raise the bar here! I came in with 2 small boys and a baby in an infant carrier- I was stressed, frazzled beyond belief and just trying to get in and out with the large amount of paint I needed. I forgot to mention as I was lifting my youngest son into the baby carrier, I realized he had pooped all down my shirt and himself (yes... the dreaded blow out)- so at that point it was either go home and change and come back to do it all again or just work with what I've got and get in there to get what I needed and be done with it (the classic "you never know if someone is struggling" scenario). The gentleman at the paint counter was not only helpful, he was pleasant and helped put me at ease by helping me figure out what type of paint and how much I wanted with what the colors I needed could be used with. Then, seeing that I had my hands literally full with the baby and trying to get my two older boys to cooperate and behave, he helped me load the paint in the cart. I kept thinking to myself- okay- you've made it this far, now we just need to pay and manage to get the 5 gal bucket into the trunk and then you can go home and clean your shirt and the baby... As I was getting my car and loading the kids in, another worker came up and offered to help me load the paint in my car. He literally saw me struggling across the lot and figured I needed help (WHICH I DEFINITELY DID). This just made the entire experience so great. From originally going in super stressed, covered in wiped away baby poop, and grumpy- to having everyone offer and happy to help me- it just turned my whole day around. I hope both of the associates that went out of their way to help the mom with the crazy kids reads this and knows how much they helped me today! I asked to exchange the pair for a different branch and manager said NO. They were so rude!!! They said they would refund me for my set and thats it!
