I had a piece of the old paint for them to scan but they didn't even scan it and just said eh I think it looks like eggshell and went ahead and made it eggshell.... I also went over to pro counter to ask about drywall and the person there was extremely unpleasant to talk to. I was asking if they could cut a piece of drywall in half for me so I could transport it and he was just so rude and UNHELPFUL! I love Lowe's but I WILL NOT come back here. This store has gone downhill. Staff isn't approachable or offer help, and are usually short. They also don't staff regular registers and rely on self checkout. I use my military discount and have to wait on someone to help me, and twice now I have been ignored at Self checkout lanes, because they don't even staff it there, and I get ignored if I ask for help. Stopped in to return a purchase. The customer service desk was very helpful as I did not have my receipt. The store was pretty busy, and the shelves were not stocked very well. I have not had good luck getting help that this store. I normally have to track down an associate and even when you do find one, its never their department, or they don't know how to properly assist. If I could give negative stars I would. Today I attempted to purchase three butcher block countertops; the listed price was $209. When I was checking out the price rang up at $349, a significant difference. A cashier went with my partner to verify the item number on the price tag. While there, the department manager belittled the cashier. Then told the cashier (after we walked away) to not honor the price. We waited 45 minutes for a manager to come to the front (self checkout lane, it was the only checkout open) to talk to us. When they finally did, they had no interest in explaining to us why they wouldn't, they simply told us that and turned away. Not honoring a price is one thing, but to treat employees as poorly as the managers did is absolutely unacceptable! I'd like to call out the department managers Penny and Justin for being particularly nasty, as well as the gm, Eave, who was t even at the store to help with the situation. Twice I've placed online orders, had my credit card charged, and tracking said the item had arrived at the store. The first time, I was notified that the item was ready for pickup, but when I got to the store, I waited half an hour while they looked for the item, and ultimately had to cancel the order and buy it elsewhere. This time, although tracking says my item arrived at the store a week ago and my credit card has been charged, I have not been notified that it's available, and when I phoned the store they weren't able to give me more information. The clerk said they'd have their boss call me when they got back to the customer service desk after an errand, but unsurprisingly, three hours later they haven't called. Luckily there are other hardware stores, including another Lowe's, about the same distance from me. read more

We purchase from Lowe's all the time due to their military discount. Even tho we do not get one for appliances ... we stuck with Lowe's. Purchased over $6k in appliances from Lowe's Heath Ohio beginning of February 2024. Paid for delivery, install and removal of old appliances. Everything worked great for 5 days. Then the $3k+ refrigerator from GE stopped cooling/freezing. Called Lowe's they refused to help said sent us to take it up with GE. GE set up a tech to come out. He came ran diagnostic on it.... Compressor plus a bunch of other stuff is bad. ON A BRAND NEW REFRIGERATOR! The most expensive one they had on their floor!!!! Tech leaves says he has to order the parts. Has no idea when they'll be in or when it'll be fixed. We were supposed to get a call from GE and the tech on Friday for an update. Shockingly no call. Called GE back. Same thing they won't do anything. We have to wait on the tech. Family of 5 and we just have a real pretty EXPENSIVE paper weight in our kitchen that doesn't work. I get things happen in manufacturing. However when it is less than week Lowe's should stand by their customers. Switch the thing out for another new one and send the item back to GE to fix!!! It's not that hard. We are remodeling/upgrading our home. Won't be purchasing Lowe's anymore. Also won't be recommending them. Update 04/06/2024: it's been 2 months since Heath Ohio Lowe's sold a $5k paperweight to us. We still have the broken thing in our kitchen. This has been a complete nightmare and now we are without a fridge for god knows how long - until GE refunds us the money. Then we wait for a new fridge to be delivered & installed. Dave the manager at Heath Ohio Lowe's had the nerve to suggest we spend another chunk of money for a temporary fridge until we get the refund from GE and can purchase the one we really want. DO NOT PURCHASE HIGH PRICED ITEMS FROM THIS STORE they will drop off a broken item and not help to fix the issue. I am so disgusted right now. We have a month left until we will have over 100 people at our home for a party and we have no working fridge. To make matters worse our old fridge worked we were simply upgrading it. read more

My husband and I were at the Heath Ohio Lowe's and needed assistance with removing drainage tile from a crate approximately 12' high. I asked for the gentleman at the cash register to please call for assistance and no one showed up. I then went inside the store and saw 2 Lowe's employees leaning on a grill chatting. I approached them and asked Joe who was in a camouflaged vest to please assist my husband and Joes reply was "I think that stuff is in plumbing on the floor" I then replied and said regardless my husband located what he needs it's just far too high to reach safely. He said again to check plumbing and offered absolute zero help and went back to chatting with his fellow employee! I am also calling the store to report him as well! read more

The store is poorly managed, understaffed, and the staff is poorly trained. The online order desk is not staffed at all, yet the store accepts online orders and sends notice that the orders have been filled. In my experience, this is not the case. Ringing the bell brings no assistance. I've had to return multiple times to pick up an online order and left each time with my order unfilled. When I finally found someone to help me, the order was not ready, and no one was available to pull it. I just moved to the area after being a Lowe's customer for years. I've never had an issue like this at other locations. I will say that the young staffers who finally helped me were very pleasant and apologetic. This is obviously a management issue. I'll probably go back to shopping one of the locations that is managed well or turn to competitors. There is zero excuse for this mismanagement. read more

This is our go-to store. We've gotten to know a few of the staff members (in lawn and garden, particularly) because we are there so often. All are very knowledgeable and helpful. Deliveries are prompt and the guys on the truck are always helpful, too, in unloading the items. And the home services department is top-notch. read more

We bought a dishwasher here. It's a Maytag and it broke down just after the one year anniversary. Luckily we bought the extended service plan. What they don't tell you is that the company that runs the extended service plan does not answer their phones. I spent six hours trying to get ahold of them. Waste of time and money. read more

All I need from this store is proof of delivery for a shipment that was delivered here. (As simple as taking a quick picture of the document and emailing it out) and now my entire weeks pay is being withheld because I am missing 1 piece of paper from this location. If I could leave zero stars, I would. However, since this Lowe's only has one and a half star anyway, they clearly don't give a s**t about their customers anyway. I pulled into the curbside pickup, and called the store to get a pick up attendant. The phone rang for five minutes, and no one answered. I go into the store at the customer service desk. There are two women employees standing there. One is helping a customer with a return, and the other is standing there looking at her phone. I walk up to the pick up counter, and I'm patiently waiting. Absolutely no recognition from the other employee that I'm standing there. I then walk away to try and find someone to help me. I then see a third employee walk into the customer service desk area, so I go back to the customer service desk, hoping I can get someone to at least talk to me. The girl on her phone finally asked (like I was annoying her). Can I answer something for you? I asked about curbside pick up, and no one answering. She just pointed to a sign above her head. All the while, the phone behind the desk is ringing (probably others calling for their curbside pick up orders), and not being answered. read more

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever received. I received an email stating my item was delivered (it was not). I spent a week of my life trying to get an answer from the store. They made me call the 3rd party delivery company to try and locate my product. I have since been speaking with Brittany who has now taken over 2 weeks to refund my money to me. You cannot get a hold of anyone in the store via phone to save your life, if you do happen to reach someone and you leave a message the recipient still won't call you back. I bought a stove and refrigerator and waited almost 2 weeks for delivery on a Friday. When the drivers showed up they measured my door (standard 36") and stated that could not get the fridge through the door opening without removing the door frame and trim! I asked them could they get it through by removing the door on the fridge and they stated it still wouldn't fit. This was a lie. I looked up the specs on the fridge and the width was 29" and would fit with 5-6 inches to spare. It was Friday and they just didn't want to spend the extra time to do it. But, 1st a special thank you to Miss Karen a store manager on duty July 23rd 2019 at the Brooklyn Ohio store....(whom understood the stressful relocation process from Las Vegas and timely home construction....More Importantly our concerns regarding our small dogs being kept away from the dangers of cars or anything worse *BEYOND* the fence.)....she is the reason for all fence materials being dropped off at our home within 24hrs as SHE promised, (by calling the store manager and CPO Dept. at 877-505-4923) after waiting over a week prior!!! And Not the original date as promised on our contract #1596314....An installer did come out on July 22nd but LOWES had NOT dropped off materials. Unfortunately after that the communication with the installers & store management at this location became WORSE!!!! Very Poor communication between manager Bill Nicolobe and contracted installers!!! The installers came out once on July 29th to set post which were completed, but once my husband and I looked at the fence layout.....it wasn't at all the Board on Board Overlap!!! What happened with the installers getting the correct Install Contract?? After the installers took apart the fence they made a call to the store....left and have not returned since, it's now August 5th...and I'm left with calling the LOWES store manager once again to repeat ALL of our concerns and ask when are the installers returning to our home. (Spoke with a team member named Darrell 8-5-19 *whom said he was a store manager) This has been the WORST service experience yet!! We have painters & tile installers at our home, so you can imagine how much STRESS LOWES has added to our home project. Worse part is our fence for our small dogs isn't being completed as promised....Again...$4000.00 for HORRIBLE customer service. When you place an online order to be picked up you expect to get what you ordered....All the employee had to do was go to the outdoor furniture section, pick it out of the bin and deliver it to the front of the store at the pickup desk. Some how I knew when I placed this order it was not going to go right and it didn't. I really don't think they look at what the order is for at all and just pull something out bc it looked like what was ordered. No checking on size or item number...I ordered a 9 ft patio umbrella in black and white and some one who picked the order pulled out the 7 1/2 ft umbrella bc it was the first black and white one they saw...not even dawning on them that the 9 ft ones sitting right next to them could be what they needed to pick...did not even look at them to compare the order. Thankfully I looked at it when I put it in my car bc it just did not look right...it was too small. Of course I took it back in and told the girl at the p/u desk and just went and got my own correct umbrella for the exchange. Always look at what they give you to make sure it is right. If I could give this place a negative stars I would. We spent are hard earned money on a kitchen remodel. With my husband and I both living busy lives we decided to have Lowes do our project. We thought since Lowes would be the direct contact with the contractors the babysitting and following up would be taken care of. We were far from wrong. We poured so much money into our kitchen project and the work was less than half assed. I personally had to follow up with our contractor every time. They came in and did demo, left us without a sink or anything for over a month. Our project was started in July of 2016 and as of February of 2017 still isn't complete. I have followed up with the project manager, project coordinator, contractor, the assistant store manager, the installed sales manager, etc and they still can't seem to get this project done. Everything that was ordered was enough to do two kitchens. We had 70 light covers ordered for one kitchen. We had three 5 gallon paint buckets ordered for a small kitchen. Needless to say, it was too much and now we can't return as there was color mixed in. They had to order the cabinets 3 different times, they had to re-do the backsplash twice because the installer grouted over tile that wasn't attached to the wall and we had to pay for the extra materials. The list goes on and on. I'm just really disappointed. We felt like we were taken advantage of. This Lowes is terrible and my advice is to NEVER let them do a home project. read more

On May 23, 2016 i visited your store to purchase a new gas grill. Found the clerk in that department and she said that she would have to pull one down from the top racks. Told me to do some shopping while they got it down and when I came back she said she tried to page someone to get the grill down with a forklift No one was there in the store that could get it down. So I said I was going to leave and on the way out I saw another clerk and told her my problem - she was not concerned so I went to the service desk and asked to see the manager and they paged and could not find the manager. I checked out and left without a gas grill. I couldn't believe that there was no one qualified in that store to run a fork lift to get the gas grill down. I will not be back to the Hebron Rd.
