We were in need of a new couch. Amber, the sales person was so nice and so personable with us. She understood our needs and pointed us in the right direction of what would be best for us. We have two German Shepherds, so we wanted some l thing that would repel the dog hair as much as possible and be sturdy to withstand them if they were to get on it. We financially not prepared to get new furniture, but Amber clearly explained the layaway system and we were able to put down a hold payment and pay when we could. She would reach out once a month just to check in, which was nice bc it's easy to forget about. We got the love seat paid off so it was able to get delivered, even though the couch wasn't paid off yet! When it came to the delivery, it was excellent. We got it delivered within 5 days and I got updates up to 48 hours prior to the actual delivery. The day of I had a tracker of where the truck was and where I was on the list. The guys were so professional and nice. They were on time and respectful of my home and getting the furniture in the house! I recently moved and after researching all of the furniture stores around, chose Big Sandy. My experience from start to finish was nothing short of wonderful. My personal sales associate was Amber Hutchinson and she gets a 10. She helped me navigate my ordering and financing options and was in touch all along the way while we waited on our furniture which was back ordered. Also, even though our items were out of stock, upon placing the order we waited less than 10 days for delivery. Next, the financing was a breeze once I checked in person to a store. Online has a few kinks but it took the customer service rep less than 10 minutes to get everything paid for and my delivery date set. Last but not least, our delivery team was courteous, professional and extremely adept at setting up our furniture along with giving my husband a short lesson on dismantling and setting up again should we ever move it. I've posted a separate review for my purchase. I'm here to review the delivery process. I was very happy with the delivery. Sherod the delivery man was great, as well as Amber, my salesperson. The only unfortunate thing was that they delivered a rug without having cleaned it. I realize it was a floor model, but it's a poor representation of the store when they decide to deliver something so dirty and stained. However, to make up for it, Sherod got the store to promise to come out and clean it for free. I was very happy with that, and would be even more happy when they actually call to set up the appointment. As to the rest of the items, aside from a few minor things it was perfect! All items that were supposed to be delivered were delivered. Everything is in good working order. I love my new couch, tables, entertainment center, bedroom set and desk. My place looks great, and it's because of Big Sandy Furniture. Except for the rug. That rug needs some major help. Call me. :) read more

Bought a nice leather electric couch from Big Sandy Heath store, it had issues after 2 months, I believe it was a design flaw. Heath store manager, Amber, handled it extremely well and everyone I encountered had knowledge of what they are selling, seemed happy with their job and did not rush me. It is nice to walk into a store and see Happy people working. The parts did take many months, as they came by boat from another country. Jim, service tech, completed the repair and cleaned up the area afterwards. He knew his job and performed it well and efficiently. Kenny, service tech, conducted the original damage report and was nice, thorough and a happy person. They handled the problem very professionally, The Big Sandy warehouse, the problem people to deal with, have nothing to do with the store. Amber handled that too! It was my first time shopping there and I plan to purchase whatever home furnishings I may need from Big Sandy. The prices are reasonable and selection very nice. read more

Our Big Sandy Superstore- Heath experience was exceptional. The in-store sales rep, Bill, was very informative, knowledgeable, honest and efficient. We placed our special order with great confidence. The selection was somewhat limited, based on our specifications, but we nonetheless found the perfect wall mount oven. The woman who handled the payment process was genuinely friendly and very pleasant. The wait time for the oven to be shipped to the warehouse was a week or two longer than we expected. Once recieved, we were immediately contacted and delivery/installation was scheduled for two days later. The installers, Paul and Blake, arrived precisely as scheduled and were extremely considerate and professional. They were efficient and took care to be respectful and friendly. The cost of the appliance, including additional warranty, delivery, installation, and removal of the old oven has value well above the dollar amount spent. Great service and experience overall. I just graduated college and moving out on my own. I purchased living room furniture with the sales representative Alex that assisted me. He was very helpful and courteous and I never felt pressured to buy anything at all. He was also very easy to work with concerning scheduling delivery and making sure I received my furniture when I wanted. The delivery team was also great. Very fast and friendly. Arrived exactly at the time the tracker told me (down to the minute). I received 15 minute prior alerts by text to alert me of their arrival. I loved the feature that allowed me to see where the truck was in relation to my house. I was extremely satisfied with my purchase. I was able to get a liquidation sale bundle. They by far have the best prices in the area. I looked at several other furniture stores and they beat their prices by about $300-$500. I will shop here in the future. :) read more

Didn't know we needed it until we got it. Our recliner died so we were looking at new ones. Then I saw this Zero Gravity recliner and realized it's more than just a recliner. My back is now relaxed in moments when I can elevate my feet above my heart!! We went to 3 stores before looking at Big Sandy. Shawn was not pushy, but just showed us several recliners. It wasn't until I went back to lay in it a second time that I was sold on the Zero Gravity recliner. (A little pressure that there were only 3 left in a warehouse in southern Ohio during COVID, so no telling how long we'd wait if we didn't decide now). Plus we were shown the back story of how different brands are structured for longevity. Everyone we spoke to was very personable. Delivery was on time, and both of the gentlemen delivering were energetic and fun! Overall, a very positives experience!! We'll deal with them again!! read more

Delivery was wonderful. The delivery drivers were courteous and friendly. They took special care when installing our new stove. We had ordered a ZLine stove several months ago and it was not performing as it should. Justin at Big Sandy in Heath was over the top helpful with taking care of the situation. Zline was unwilling to work with me. If you don't do a lot of baking and cooking then buy a Zline, it looks good but performs extremely poorly. If you bake and cook a lot ...BEWARE ... DON'T buy Zline!!! I ended up purchasing a different brand. The stove was delivered yesterday so we are hopeful it will give us all we need. I can't thank Big Sandy enough for working with us and taking such great care of us. I recommend, if buying new appliances, to go see Justin in Heath. My husband and I were in need of new furniture. I had been to another store but the price along with outrageous delivery fee had me out the front door faster than I'd walk in it. We stopped in Big Sandy Super store in Heath Ohio and had the best customer service we have had in a very long time. I already knew I wanted a sectional. We we approached by Jeff, told him what we were looking for and he gave us quick guidance and left us to ourselves to look.. NO Pressure.. that part was great because us women might need a hot minute to make up our minds. We found our set and Jeff was beyond kind and respectful for our entire purchasing process. Entire experience from shopping to delivery has been very pleasant. Sales reps were awesome. Delivery was smooth and those guys worked hard to deliver everything. Impeccable is the only way to describe the job they did. We purchased a matching washer and dryer set, buffet and hutch, bookcase, dining room table set, and a cocktail table for the living room. All great pieces that match their spaces perfectly and without scratch or dent. We also picked up the protection plans because peace of mind is simply worth having just in case anything were to happen. Funny thing is - we didn't even intend to shop for these items. It just so happened we were looking for charcoal grills and ended up across the street. The promotion that was going on is what brought our attention away from charcoal grills. He took his time showing me what I was looking for and was very patient while I was making my decision. He inspected every inch of the furniture before purchasing to make sure I was satisfied. Sherod, the delivery man, and his assistant were very attentive and cautious when delivering the furniture and made sure to be mindful of other objects in my home. They were both informative on how the features on the furniture operated. They took the time to show me and my daughter how to take the items apart if needed in the future. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Didn't pressure us at all and made the process very easy! We had items that weren't in stock and every week they texted me and update on the status and the items arrived as scheduled. Delivery communication was excellent. Contining updates all morning as our delivery window approached and they were rigt on schedule. The deliver gentlemen were friendly and did an excellent job! We bought furniture from Ashley/Morris furniture mid 2020 and the experience was AWFUL. There were issues with the product, they didn't set it up like we had paid for, wouldn't take the item back even though they delivered it damaged and with missing parts. We went into Sandy's for the first time and was greeted with smiles. There was no pressure at all. We walked around and very quickly found what we wanted. We were amazed at the prices and the quality!! Alex at the Heath ,Ohio store was so helpful. From the moment we purchased it, they kept in contact with us. We ordered the furniture and dinette set on a Thursday and it got delivered to the warehouse on Saturday and got delivered to our home on a Tuesday. They sent us a text to let us know how far away they were and we were able to follow their GPS as to how close away they were!!! It was a very easy process!!! We will definitely be back!!! We bought an out of the box refrigerator. We worked with Rick in appliances, he was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Rick was not pushy at all. The delivery, at first I was a little concerned that the fridge wasn't going to fit but both delivery associates made it work. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because we had a rocky start at the beginning of the delivery. I felt talked over when I was trying to explain what was going on. (We had another team at the house working on something else and it was totally unexpected that they were there today.) We all recovered quickly even though there was some stressful situations with the fit. All was good! So far we like the fridge. read more

We needed a new stove quickly and looked everywhere for something that would match our other appliances. Big Sandy was the only place with in stock options that met our needs. Delivery was set up for 4 days after our order was placed. Other stores had deliveries out 2 months. The delivery was a great experience! I received a time window between 9a-1pm the day before. The morning of the delivery I received a text with delivery link showing where the truck was on the route and which stop number I had. It was easy to anticipate when they would be arriving to get ready for the delivery. The team was excellent. They were friendly and very professional. We lost our washer and dryer to flash floods that filled out basement with sewer water after Columbus shut down the water treatment plant intake. We researched, looked around, and found Big Sandy. Not only did they have the set we ideally wanted for $200 less than the big corporate stores, they were offering free delivery, and Justin called to talk through everything and write up a custom invoice for us. Our set was just delivered, 4 days after order (Lowe's and Home Depot said 2-3 weeks), and the install team was EFFICIENT!
