The customer service rep selected the wrong date. Easy fix as the owner still fit me in on the date I requested just a different time. Two techs came to my home. They took precautions to not damage any items in my home. Gave my wife and I a few options since our compressor was still under warranty. Parts ordered. Communicated with me. Time for repair and they showed up on time. Compressor was replaced. Fridge started cooling Woke up next day and the freezer wasn't working. I sent a text. Owner responded quickly and scheduled a follow up. They came out again. About an hour later and my freezer seems to be cooling down. They didn't even ask about a return service call payment. Currently it seems to be working. There were scheduling issues that were resolved. Initial repair didn't do the job but they were very friendly and seemed to want to resolve it quickly. I will probably use them again if needed but not sure I would recommend until after the merger is complete. Since this review was written the freezer didn't properly cool. I contacted the owner. They came out quickly. After talking with him I realized he is a very respectful man. He had no intentions of ripping me off. He genuinely felt bad that the unit wasn't working properly. This was just an unusual diagnosis. Everything checks out as working. LG has an app to get service codes. That checked out. They made a total of 4 trips to my home. He offered my money back. I asked for half as he did have a lot of time invested. Wrote me a check. I'm very happy with the customer service. I'm not thrilled my fridge was part of a class action lawsuit. Even though customer service was impeccable I am keeping my 3 star review. I still think the tech should have checked the main motherboard

Technician came out twice and I told him it was the mother board. Long story short , I bought it my self dues to the outrageous remain and part cost. I bought it myself and had a problem with the machine not turning on. Capitol Appliance would not deal with me any more, Whirlpool Co. had no one to advise me if it was a faulty board or anything. Still ALL WOOD! Not that particle board stuff they do not carry. We went in 2 days later and immediately shown to 3 in stock. She cut open boxes until she found one without any imperfections. No, the owner, the older man got on the phone and spoke to us like we were crap. My husband stayed calm. The old man yelled and yelled "maybe it's your house!! We are not going, you bring it back!!" And he hung up on us. What kind of customer service is that!? It's been two weeks. We haven't called back. We called Acima but now no one at the appliance store is answering Acima's calls. They don't want to fix it or they don't want us to return the item. So my family and I are living out of one cooler waiting for them to answer Acima so they can make right what they wronged. The younger guy is respectful but the older man is just rude and disrespectful. He speaks to his customers HORRIBLY. We would like to just get the refrigerator fixed or a third one or just cancel the entire order. We literally bought $3,000 worth of appliances and this is how they treat us. Last company I used was very nice, but it was a hefty bill and it took a handful of days for them to come over, determine what was wrong, then a few more days to order the part. This was also in the summer time when I love having ice in my drinks. This time I sent out what I thought the job required via Yelp to several companies. Larue Mechanical Services was one of the first to respond. On top of that they were able to determine what the likely cause and fix was (basically just replacing it) and give me a total estimate cost of the repair before they came over. Other companies were able to provide me their service fees but their hourly rate would vary depending on the job. This isn't uncommon from what I can tell, but I like the fact that Larue was able to give me what they thought it would cost. I understand not all jobs can work like that as repairs can be more complicated and determined on site, but it was part of why I chose them. They were communicative, got the part ordered asap, and replaced it all in 2-3 days. The repair happened on a Friday, and turns out, there was a small error in replacing it. The new ice maker was just dripping water all over and freezing. I let them know this on a Saturday and, despite being closed, responded that they would have to come back out. They responded to several texts about what to do in the meantime to stop the water from building up any more (again while they were closed on a weekend). They were, unfortunately, swamped all day Monday with emergency calls from the weekend. As much as I wanted my machine repaired, I would not classify it as an emergency either. They were able to come out on Tuesday and get it all fixed up though. The final bill was just a little cheaper that what they previously estimated, which was nice. The final bill was also about significantly cheaper than the last repair I had on this freezer. I am going to call Larue first if I ever have an appliance repair need again (which I am sure is a matter of "when" not "if"). The gentleman who did the repairs also took a little time to give my cats and dogs a little attention to let them know he was a safe visitor, which was very nice to see as well.
