Refrigerator Repair**** This company is in the midst of joining another company. Communication was simple enough as they have a call service. The customer service rep selected the wrong date. Easy fix as the owner still fit me in on the date I requested just a different time. Two techs came to my home. They took precautions to not damage any items in my home. Gave my wife and I a few options since our compressor was still under warranty. Parts ordered. Communicated with me. Time for repair and they showed up on time. Compressor was replaced. Fridge started cooling Woke up next day and the freezer wasn't working. I sent a text. Owner responded quickly and scheduled a follow up. They came out again. About an hour later and my freezer seems to be cooling down. They didn't even ask about a return service call payment. Currently it seems to be working. There were scheduling issues that were resolved. Initial repair didn't do the job but they were very friendly and seemed to want to resolve it quickly. I will probably use them again if needed but not sure I would recommend until after the merger is complete. Since this review was written the freezer didn't properly cool. I contacted the owner. They came out quickly. After talking with him I realized he is a very respectful man. He had no intentions of ripping me off. He genuinely felt bad that the unit wasn't working properly. This was just an unusual diagnosis. Everything checks out as working. LG has an app to get service codes. That checked out. They made a total of 4 trips to my home. He offered my money back. I asked for half as he did have a lot of time invested. Wrote me a check. I'm very happy with the customer service. I'm not thrilled my fridge was part of a class action lawsuit. After a full month of Yousef coming to our home (per Home Warranty) 4 times for less than 20 min per time, we still do not have our AC fixed. It took him a week to get a part and only told us he had it after I texted him asking how long. He made us buy our own parts twice (we are still waiting on reimbursement) and the last visit he spent 10 min, threw his hands up and said he couldn't keep coming out bc he only got paid once by the warranty company and he wasn't making money on our issue. He told us to get a second opinion. He then didn't turn in paperwork so the warranty company wouldn't get a new AC service to come in until he released the paperwork. They had to call him to get it done. Not reliable. Takes forever. Couldn't do the job. Unprofessional. read more

I have been dealing with YA Services since January of 2022. I find them very reliable and honest. I have a Home Warranty contract & sometimes go through them, but the problem has not been resolved. My furnace has been making a scraping noise very intermittently since mid-2022. I decided to sign a service contract last fall with YA services to see if they can resolve the problem. L Hassan came today for the summer check-up. I turned the heat on so he could hear the noise. He was very informative and showed me exactly what the problem is. It is nothing dangerous; just very annoying. Since I probably won't use the heat until the fall, YA Services will fix the problem at that time. L Hassan checked my air conditioning unit and said that everything is fine. I appreciate that he explained everything he was doing & showed me the readings that indicated that my HVAC system is in good shape. I highly recommend this company. read more

Initially, my experience with YA Services started off well. Yousef was responsive, friendly, knowledgable and helped get our new AC units ordered. Upon installation, a defect part needed to be reordered, however, they have now gone radio silent months later and are not returning my phone calls or voicemails. My HVAC broke around the start of wintertime. Yousef was very responsive and was able to come out the same evening to diagnose the problem. He came out the following day to fix the issue and my furnace worked again. The following day, it broke once again and Yousef immediately responded to my request for him to return. He found a second issue, ordered the part, and returned the following week to replace it. While working, he walked me through what the issue was and what he was doing to fix it. My HVAC system has been working smoothly for the past 5-6 months. I'm not sure how his prices compare to others, since I did not get any other quotes, but I appreciate his promptness and communication. read more

Yousef came out to our home because of our home warranty company. We should have known we were off to a bad start when he called my husband to let us know that he has a "long day" could he come out the next day. Which we agreed to. He then contacted me around 5pm of our scheduled appointment (2 hours after speaking with my husband). He wanted to come with in 10 minutes because he now had time. He didn't realize how close he lived. We have a neighbor that is an HVAC guy, so we already had a general idea of what the problem was. And Yousef told us it WAS the panel, and he was not sure of the valve (which isn't covered). He told us in our house that he was going to put it in as the panel and if it ended up being the valve we would address that. I was happy with that answer and wrote him a check. Fast forward to what we are told he said to the home warranty people, the exact opposite of what he told us. He says to them it IS the valve and maybe the panel too. However, to have the valve even WORK the panel needs to send voltage to the valve. And there is none. He then tells us, oh no, that isn't what I said. We took it higher up at the home warranty company, now two weeks of now working furnace, and they tell us the very same story they gave us the first time. My husband calls Yousef back and he then changes his story on what he told the home warranty place. We tell him I found a furnace for the price of what the home warranty wants us to pay for a new furnace. Yousef has the gall to ask my husband "You got someone to install that?" Being in the customer service business myself, I sensed a scam. Mr. Yousef if getting a nice lil kick back from Home Warranty and from the checks the home owner's write. I explained to him that now I am involved over my husband as the home owner and the policy owner. I told him what he told us and what he told the home warranty was bulls***. Sorry, I was upset about 2 weeks of being screwed around with. Yousef hung up on me AND blocked my number. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I have my home warranty contacted. This gentleman came to me in Mount Vernon Ohio all the way from Columbus just to help me on a Sunday with my air conditioner knowing that Choice Home Warranty was not keeping their end of the bargain. He was extremely polite and courteous of covid-19. He did not try to railroad me and sell me parts I did not need he simply looked it over asked pertinent questions, found the problem right away and fixed it. Have to change my review to 1 star. After the Owner fixed a wire and said that was the issue. He didn't look at the furnace in detail. He fixed it on a Friday and it went out again Saturday. I text the owner and left a message. Never got back. Called at 730am Saturday he answered and said he was booked the next 2 days but could squeeze me in. Told him I didn't want a rush job. Home warranty company could get in touch with him. Had to get another contractor. Told owner not to come back out have someone else. He stated perfect let me know if you need anymore help. I'm not sure if it was the fault of YA services or choice warranty but for 3 years now I've had the same issue with my air conditioning not cooling more than 5 degrees in the temperature outside. The gentleman from YA came for the first time today and intially was very nice when he came and when he said all he was authorized to do was the same thing done for the last 2 years, I voiced my concerns he said to call choice because they only authorized him to put in freon. I called Choice and immediately got a service technician.YA's technician got on the phone and had a debate with the Choice technician. The Choice technician got back on the phone with me and said the gentleman never told him that it was a leak and that if the unit needs to be replaced the technician has to state that. Without warning the YA technician started walking off and I said what are you going to do next and he said that I'm done here I'm leaving, that was it which left me very confused. he was very kind up front but after he talked to choice he was dismissive which I can attribute to him being frustrated with choice warranty but to not tell me or choice that he was leaving without doing any of the work was extremely unprofessional and frustrating. and at the end of the day I still have and air conditioning unit that does not work!!!+ read more
