The first person who checked me in was not very helpful, but all the other people, both the tech repair and the people at the desk were super helpful. They showed me how to get the needed part. So we made the drive in from Zanesville to preorder 2 Samsung galaxy fold 8 phones. That's roughly $4000.00 considering they are about 2k each. We were greeted by a guy and once I told him we are just looking at the moment we were then met by a guy wearing a Verizon shirt with long hair and a long beard and he saw we were looking at the a fold 8 and out of no where he proceeds to tell us he's a terrible sales man and starts talking down the phone we were wanting to buy. i was as polite as possible and Basically telling him we don't need his assistance and he continued to talk down on the phone and how it's dumb to spend money on that particular phone and itgot To the point we walked away because if I didn't it was going to get physical quick. This guy was rude. He was very opninate and very pushy with his opinions. Needless to say he cost the Heath Ohio location roughly a $4k sale today. I made an appointment with geek squad. They never showed when I called two different support lines were on the other side of the world. The first story I got was he came to the house and no one was home when I was home the entire morning the second story I got calling back a second time was that he had a medical emergency. No one is bothered to tell me that they weren't coming. I had to call and work through AI chat bots myself. They've now rescheduled it, but they're showing an address from 10 years ago. They seem to be completely incompetent pushing everything off onto the eye chat bots I do not recommend using their service at all. It would be much much easier if you could talk to the store directly instead of people on the other side of the world that have no idea. read more

Then when I called and complained the assistant manager Zack was gaslighting me and blaming the customer. Saying we should have had the geek squad setup the phone. But how would we know if it wasn't offered to us, we don't work for Best Buy. Zack needs more training and how to be sympathetic to your customers needs instead of blaming them. read more

If there was any way I could give a rating less than one star I would! First off I guess I should have known better as this store only has a 11/2 star rating! I went to pick up a dryer that was "open box" and described as having "minor to moderate cosmetic signs of use" I drove one and a half hours and tried to call in advance to make sure it was ready and as described but was told they didn't allow contact with anyone at the store!! That should have been my first clue because when I got there it wasn't ready and when I looked at it I couldn't believe the condition! It was obviously either dropped or ran into by a forklift as the entire back was dented. The attitude of who may have been the manager was that it was the "online departments" fault and basically take it up with them. Overall to the best I can tell the manager must have been having a terrible day, otherwise I can't imagine why he would have decided to provide obviously terrible service overall! GREAT SERVICE!! Had just what I was looking for. This week I researched what 32" LG FLAT SCREEN tv I wanted. Went online and saw they had inventory. Walked in store and Ben Daley greeted me immediately and asked how he could help. I showed him tv I wanted on my phone, he took SKU. I told him I had a bad knee, Ben said he would find the exact model and meet me up front. By the time I made it to check out Ben was walking up to register with the tv, proceeded to check me out, figured out how to use my gift cards. He asked if I wanted help getting tv to car, of course with my bad knee. And there Ben was waiting for me, put it in car, told me side of box which should be kept facing upward to protect the screen. I just purchased a TV and had it mounted above me fireplace. I was told at the beginning if I paid $200 for the Geek Squad it would apply to the installation of the TV and I would get free service for up grades on the Lap top. Needless to say that was also a lie. I showed the salesman the picture of the fire place I wanted the TV mounted over and told them everything I wanted done (wires hidden sound bar mounted ETC). He told me they could do this and it wasn't a problem. I paid the $200 and went back in to have the installation group come out and verify everything I wanted done. Needless to say they could not hide the wires behind the wall as I wanted. They said they could hide them behind a cover and you couldn't tell they were there. They also advised me I would need an extra long extension wire to reach the electrical out let. The sales man told me that all of the wiring and electrical would be included. Wrong we had to pay for it. When it got installed it looked like crap, they didn't program the TV as was promised, my sound bar wasn't working. Also the cover was not sent out and we had to get it ourselves. The installation guy said to call him if there were any issues, we called him and never heard back from or anyone at the store. I went into the store and of course there were no managers to be found told the sales guys what happened and I wasn't happy. Needless to say nobody called me back and they acted like it was to bad. I spent a lot of money in that store only to have no accountant ability. I will never go in there again and I am sure the BBB will get no where with them. read more

I purchased an Epson Expression XP-440 ALL-IN-ONE printer on February 7th, 2018, from the Best Buy Store #145 in Heath, Ohio. I also purchased a two-year service contract. The printer worked just fine. The only problem was that it used liquid ink cartridges. The ink cartridges would dry up and the printer heads would gum up because of this after less than a month. I continually had to buy new ink cartridges, which ended up costing more than the cost of the printer itself. I brought the printer back to the Best Buy Store I purchased it from on September 13th, 2020. I boxed it back up in the original box and had my sales receipt. I spoke to Randy, the manager. I explained was returning printer because the ink problem made it unsatisfactory. I also said I knew it was over two years old, but that it still worked. I said if he could give me some type of store credit, I would be happy to spend it in the store. I didn't expect a full refund, but some type of incentive would be nice, vs. me buying another printer on-line. He said that due to the age of the printer, he could not do this for me. I was disappointed but I understood why he couldn't do it. I then requested that he provide feedback to the manufacturer of the printer, Epson, so they knew that their product had a problem. He said that he couldn't do that, because he managed so many stores and there was no way he was going to provide feedback to any company of a product his store sells. I expressed surprise at this, since it seems reasonable that a manager would provide feedback to the companies whose products they sell. I then asked him if Best Buy would at least recycle the printer, and he said yes. I just wanted to provide you with this feedback. Although I did not buy the most expensive printer in this store, I have certainly spent thousands of dollars there over the years. I was disappointed that the manager seemed to not value me at all as a customer. read more

Extrmely poor customer service from Geek Squad department. I made a reservation on Saturday September 21st to get my phone screen repaired on Wednesday September 25th for 5:20pm. I left work early to drive up here. Upon arrival I was told by the Apple certified technician that he was the only certified technician working and he was supposed to leave at 5, and that I could reschedule. I told him that I wished I could've been made aware of this beforehand rather just showing up and he said again offered to reschedule. No thank you. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Purchased a refrigerator at the Heath Ohio Best buy. They delivered it in 2 days. The refrigerator was way too big, it did not fit to the point where the door wouldn't even open because it was squeezed against the wall so tightly. The delivery guy knew this and refused to take it back. He said we should just use it until we get a replacement. How can I use it if the door won't open? He left it with us. Went into the store to find out if we could have someone pick it up and exchange it for a different refrigerator or get a refund. The manager, Devin asked when I needed the refrigerator picked up. I said today because it was left there knowing it didn't fit for 3 days now. Devin said "well that's not going to happen" instead of something professional like I'm sorry about the situation, we'll get it figured out - something like that. You know, something that you would say to a customer who just spent over $1,100 on a refrigerator. He was completely unprofessional, arrogantly rude, couldn't care less about the situation I was in, rolled his eyes, and when I asked to speak to the person above him, he said the only person above him was regional. So I said I'm going to call regional and get this figured out and he said "go ahead and call regional. I don't care" I work in customer service and I know that's not how you treat a customer whether you think the customer is right or wrong. You have respect and you try to fix the situation and do whatever you can to make it right. Devin is a terrible manager. Now I'm stuck with a refrigerator that doesn't fit, my old refrigerator is still in the kitchen also plugged into an outlet by the sink so now there's no room in there to move around and Best buy refuses to do anything about it. I know they'll eventually pick the refrigerator up and I'll get a refund, but that's not the point. Devin was rude and unprofessional. He acted in the exact opposite way a manager should act. Trust me, I'm not one of those people.. I'm not a Karen trying to get something for free or thinking I'm entitled in any way. All I wanted was some respect and for Best buy to actually put forth some effort into coming to get the fridge that they knew didn't fit and make the situation right. But that didn't happen. Because of Devin, I will never shop at Best buy again. I've purchased two pre-built computers from Best buy, countless video games countless peripherals, a printer, three monitors, a phone, a TV and I couldn't even get the basic respect a customer deserves. Had an online order for a galaxy s5 that said it was ready to pick up and in stock at this location. Drove 50 miles to find out that they did not have them in stock and they werent going to have them for another 2 weeks; other electronic stores had them. They did not offer any compensation and the staff were rude and unhelpful. Ended up canceling the order and bought the phone at a radio shack. All in all, best buy rips you off with their prices, their staff are unhelpful and rude (at pretty much every best buy). You are better off shopping online or going to other electronic stores such as microcenter. Avoid best buy at all costs. Dont be naiive and let them sap your hard earned money. read more

I've been to Best Buy's in several states: Massachusetts, Florida, and Ohio. But the one in Heath Ohio was by far the absolute worst one EVER. I walked in looking for an ipod for my sister. I found where they were, but the case didn't state if there were headphones or not. I went looking for a representative for assistance. Didn't find any. Walked to the front and asked the door greeter, where he replied: I don't know. So I walked back to the area of the ipods, still nobody around. It's not like the store was packed or even busy. Still nobody to be found. I then walked back to the front, where the useless door greeter was, he was still doing nothing. So, I handed him the ipod and walked out. I drove to HHGregg (a store that I have NEVER been in before, but my dad said they might have ipods). Great experience found there. read more

Have had good experiences at this store in the past, staff is usually polite and competent. Recently went in to buy HP98 black printer cartridge, advertised online on their website for 26.99. In-store price was 30.99, they told me the one listed online had a different SKU and was a 'newer, improved version' but refused to sell me the 'old' one at the same price. Advertising an item online at a lower price but making you pay more in-store because they don't have the newer item is pretty close to bait-and-switch, IMO. Very disappointing. read more

Watch out for best buy ripoff sales people around the holidays trying to sell you a new item. Had a best buy policy (paid for ) to get ones computer fixed . First year was ok. Then the second year took it in around the holiday. a woman was having a problem with hers and sales person said they could not fix it and she could check out the ones there on sale. Well I had to check in mine a few days later got a call and said mine could not be fix buy them. That I had to contact HP for a disk to fix they gave me a print of info for the disk. Well I contacted HP they had no disk for said info I gave them. Well I check the back of my desktop for serial number and model ect. Well paper best buy gave didn't match up. Well I sat down with the computer and just started going thru stuff and guess what. The computer they could not fix and basically said was trash. Well I fixed it and have been using it since then. This review is being given on the computer they said was trash. I still had a year fix it paid contract with them. I have let it run out and when emailed to renew by them.
