I told this to them- I thought they would be able to figure out I needed a new door switch since they are professional appliance repairmen. After all, a simple internet search told us what the code meant! The repairman showed up late, I showed him what the problem was. He went out to his truck to see if he had the part- after 20 minutes, he came back in, said the part would take 2 or 3 days to get and charged me 65.00! Too bad they wouldn't tell me this morning that they did not have the part. Would have saved me a day of waiting for this guy to show up and 65.00 paid to him for basically sitting in his truck for 40 minutes- 20 minutes when he got to my house (I was watching when he pulled up) and 20 minutes to look for the part! Just checked my receipt- it says paid Visa 65.00 (it was a Discover card) and to the right of that it says door latch 125.00, labor 35.00 and service 65.00- an estimate for 225.00? Online the part is available for 80.00. So...tonight my husband and I are making a trip to Sears Outlet to buy a new washer. By the way- I love Sears Outlet and I love their repair people. Too bad our washer was no longer under warranty. It lasted 11 years with only one repair. How this business got an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau is beyond me!!

Long review but hopefully thorough to explain why I will be calling these guys first next time I…read moreneed a repair. My ice maker was broken for the 2nd time in a year and a half. Last company I used was very nice, but it was a hefty bill and it took a handful of days for them to come over, determine what was wrong, then a few more days to order the part. This was also in the summer time when I love having ice in my drinks. This time I sent out what I thought the job required via Yelp to several companies. Larue Mechanical Services was one of the first to respond. On top of that they were able to determine what the likely cause and fix was (basically just replacing it) and give me a total estimate cost of the repair before they came over. Other companies were able to provide me their service fees but their hourly rate would vary depending on the job. This isn't uncommon from what I can tell, but I like the fact that Larue was able to give me what they thought it would cost. I understand not all jobs can work like that as repairs can be more complicated and determined on site, but it was part of why I chose them. They were communicative, got the part ordered asap, and replaced it all in 2-3 days. The repair happened on a Friday, and turns out, there was a small error in replacing it. The new ice maker was just dripping water all over and freezing. I let them know this on a Saturday and, despite being closed, responded that they would have to come back out. They responded to several texts about what to do in the meantime to stop the water from building up any more (again while they were closed on a weekend). They were, unfortunately, swamped all day Monday with emergency calls from the weekend. As much as I wanted my machine repaired, I would not classify it as an emergency either. They were able to come out on Tuesday and get it all fixed up though. The final bill was just a little cheaper that what they previously estimated, which was nice. The final bill was also about significantly cheaper than the last repair I had on this freezer. I am going to call Larue first if I ever have an appliance repair need again (which I am sure is a matter of "when" not "if"). The gentleman who did the repairs also took a little time to give my cats and dogs a little attention to let them know he was a safe visitor, which was very nice to see as well.

Technician came out twice and I told him it was the mother board. Long story short , I bought it my self dues to the outrageous remain and part cost. I bought it myself and had a problem with the machine not turning on. Capitol Appliance would not deal with me any more, Whirlpool Co. had no one to advise me if it was a faulty board or anything. I call S&K . I sent them a picture of the board and details of installation on u. He was so helpful in researching what I sent him and confirmed it was a bad board, due to me putting my original board back in and the washer started up. I received emails & texts confirming my appointment. The day of service l received another appointment reminder along with a photo of the technician, Trevon Showman. Trevon arrived on time. He was friendly and polite. He completed a 6 page Maintenance Checklist with photos which he reviewed with us. The checklist was also sent to us via email for our records.

Terrible service... please read…read more Scheduled DorMar to begin work installing tube heaters oct 14th. They provided a quote that I agreed to and stated the job would take 3 days. It is oct 27th and the job is barely halfway done. Their employees showed up oct 14th and did very little other than lay out the heater on the floor. Oct 15th they got the heater mounted and connected to gas. Oct 17th a technician stopped out for an hour to hook it up to electric. Heater still needs duct work complete and thermostat installed. I called them Oct 20, 21st and the 22nd. Each time they stated "technicians will be out tomorrow to complete" technicians never showed up. I called again today the 27th and they said the same thing. I told them I want to speak to the job manager. And he will not answer my calls. Dormar has been consistently behind schedule. They didn't even have the duct work I told them they would need when they showed up to the job. They have provided no updates or reasons for delay to me. And now the job manager will not respond to call or text. Stay away from DorMar ! Poor job management will result in delays to construction deadlines. I'm on the verge of cancelling their agreement to have an alternative company finish the work.
