Instead of trying to sell us anything, they put a repairman, Curtis, on the phone. After what I told him about the refrigerator, he diagnosed it and told me he'd order the part and have it installed in a couple of days. Their service, kindness, and professionalism was impeccable. The refrigerator is humming along for about 7% of what I would have paid for a new refrigerator. If you live in the Mount Vernon, Ohio and surrounding area, and you need a repairman, or a second opinion, come to Herald's. They'll treat you right.

The very next day I decided to go ahead & pay for the washer in advance of my husband picking it up. I was greeted & walked through their entire selection & she helped me get the best value specifically for what our family needed. I remember this family business as a kid, and my parents have shopped here a lot. The owner delivered for free, hooked up, & ran a cycle to show me everything it did. He also gave me an estimate on a freezer of ours that went down as I needed for a claim for the insurance company. The only snag was trying to enter my credit card info from the link that was sent. I would recommend another credit card processor. After numerous attempts, even trying my husband's credit card, I had to call the store back and they let me give my credit card info to an employee over the phone. Kind of a headache, but made it through that. Now for the delivery experience. Top notch! The guys who delivered the tv were prompt, clean. Very knowledgeable and professional. They unboxed the tv and put the stand on the tv, which I had told the sales guy I wanted them to do. They proceeded to hook up the tv to our satellite and Roku streaming device, which they didn't have to do. Even went through the initial setup of the tv. They had the tv unboxed, up and running within about 15 minutes! We were very impressed! I was a little concerned before I had the tv delivered based on some reviews I had seen. Turns out, I was worrying for nothing. Just goes to show, not everybody's experience will be the same, and you can't please everyone. My experience with Big Sandy was excellent.

New ones are…read more$1800+ Didn't want to start the new year off by dropping $2k on a new built in oven/microwave combo, so called TC Appliance Repair. They set an appointment 4 days later (including holiday and weekend, so totally understandable,) and gave a one hour window for their arrival. The repairman arrived right on time at the TOP of the hour. Yay, no waiting around! He was friendly, courteous, and had the microwave fixed in an hour! It was a door switch on a 20 year old built in microwave and he had stocked in his mobile repair vehicle. Awesome! After cutting him a check for $100, I don't know if I'm more thrilled to have my microwave popcorn back, or for the $1900 TC Appliance Repair saved me from having to buy an entire new unit.
