Can I give a - star? Lowes "install" SUCKS! Ww bought about $1000 worth of kitchen equipment from Lowes and scheduled installation. They sent confirmation the morning(s) of the installation confirming that they would be there BUT THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! I called the store manager who sounded very sympathetic. He was going to "look into it and get back to me" he never did. Okay, let's try this again. We reschedualled. Same confirmation the morning of the scheduled installation. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP again. Well again this GE washer is not working. Fills and keep filling had to shut water off and unplug. PLEASE DO YOURSELF AND YOU WALLET A FAVOR. DO NOT BUY GE APPLIANCES. We made the huge mistake of ordering everything for our new house from Lowe's instead of from smaller businesses. Their customer service has been horrible. Our orders did not arrive in a timely manner. We are still waiting on a flooring order that was due to be delivered three weeks ago. After calling them repeatedly they tell us it's a computer error and we still don't know whether or when we'll get the flooring that we paid for. I need to add that the lady in customer service was very horrible and rude to us when we tried to resolve the issues with our flooring order DONT go here ever!!!!!! read more

Jason T. in the paint section saw us (my hubby and I) standing looking at stain. He overheard me saying I want to see the grain through the color and he politely jumped in to our conversation. Then he set about to help us select the color stain we wanted, the brand (that was a great deal cheaper than what we started with), and worked on his computer to get just the right hue. We even went out doors to see the colors in the natural light. He went above and beyond, and Lowe's is very lucky to have him. Great customer service, and a great visit. Thanks Jason! read more

Sold me a door that was opened and damaged by another customer. I paid full price. Customer service could care less. I have had to return other items in past. Avoid this store. Returned damaged door. Asked why they would but this door, that was obviously opened, attempted to be installed and then put back in box with dents, loose screws and opened parts boxes, taped up and put back into stock to be sold to next unsuspecting customer? We picked out another, and better quality storm door , returned home to put in this item only to realize THAT THE HANDLE IS TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY! So now third trip to Lowe's for the handle and my question is why didn't the salesman tell us about the need for a handle at the time of sale? The customer service is subpar , sales people undertrained, stock men untrained, procedures for returns lax to say the least. In the future we will travel to Home Depot for our home needs. read more

Usually shop at small , local business only. Love this Lowe's!!!! We need thing the local small business didn't have. The staff here is knowledgeable, happy and helpful. We have had to return a few things and Mike was so respectful. I am a 57 year old woman, and tired of being talked down to in home improvement stores. Lowe's had many skill females working here also.
