We were very happy with our first purchases last Spring. So much so that we decided to make them…read moreour primary source for this year's hanging baskets. About a month ago we revisited them. We had saved last season's baskets because they complimented our exterior decor so well. Because of that we inquired as to whether we could reuse the baskets, and specify what flowers would be included in each arrangement. We were informed that we could do so on both counts. And, that we would be informed by phone when they were available for pickup. We heard nothing further. So, yesterday we called and inquired as to the status of our order. They informed us that the baskets were ready for us. So, we drove there, about a 25 minute drive from our home, late yesterday afternoon. Upon arrival we inquired of the female employee at the checkout counter about our baskets. At first she was unsure, but she inquired of the owner and ultimately the arrangements were located. However, only one basket (out of 5) contained the flowers we had requested. The employee checked the order records and no, the arrangements were not as ordered. So, they were returned to their workshop for correction. About ten to fifteen minutes later they were returned. But, when we went to pay for them we discovered that the price was about 20% higher than the previous year. When we inquired as to the reason we were told by two, of the approximately 14 year old, female employees (this is a Mennonite enterprise) that the increased cost was due to the reuse of our old baskets; that doing so made it "more work for them". We might have argued the point further with the female owner. However, she had left us to riding mow her lawn, while carrying her infant daughter on her lap. Needless to say, we probably will be buying our hanging baskets closer to home next year. Too bad.

Ordered an Eskimo Eskape 2600 2-Person Flip Shack and some accessories at the Canandaigua, NY store…read morewhich is almost 3-hours away. They were the closest Runnings that had these units in stock per their website. I received an email that part of the order was ready. I waited until I received a 2nd email indicating everything was available. I was well withing the time frame before they would cancel the order and put the items back in stock. When I arrived, the Eskimo Eskape 2600 2-Person Flip Shack was not available. They said that they only had one unit and not two and gave it to the person who ordered it in January. I don't believe them and think they just sold the unit I purchased and paid for instead of separating it. They told me my unit was "in transit". I was going to cancel the order and asked them if it is in transit, could they just ship it to the Gloversville Runnings. They said they could, but it would take another two weeks. Remember, this is an expensive seasonal item and can only be used for a short period of time each year. Normally when businesses screw up at this level, they offer some sort of compensation to make up for the trouble they caused. Runnings did not. At this point I am considering never shopping at RUNNINGS again. I am just so disgusted with them. My guess is they'll screw up the shipment to Gloversville RUNNINGs.

In the end, Josh who was looking after me, took my weedeater back to the shop and they found a used part that worked with my weedeater, replaced it and did not charge me for their time , nor the used part.
