I ordered a $90 bouquet for my uncle's funeral and of course I ordered from Chase's because I wanted the job done well. I got to the funeral home and I was so embarrassed. The bouquet I had ordered was so small. I couldn't even think about the service because I was thinking about how embarrassing this was. Don't get me wrong, it was beautiful, but it was not even close to being a $90 bouquet (the base price without taxes and delivery). What they sent I could have gotten at Wegmans for $30 or less than that at Costco. I called immediately after the service. They were nice, but said that was the correct price and bouquet. They said the vase I chose couldn't hold anymore flowers than what it had in it or it would look silly. There were 3 size options for the arrangement I chose. I ordered the largest one. If a vase is not big enough, why would you even have that vase and arrangement available together? They gave me a 20% discount when I called. Still not worth $72!!!!! Lesson learned-no more Chase's and call the florist next time to make sure my arrangement will be sufficient.

Didn't really need any assistance or service while shopping, mainly because I was shopping with my mother (before Mother's Day) and we were just trying to find things we liked and sounded interesting. The employee helping us at checkout was... seemingly indifferent to being there... but it's fine. In terms of value, we found everything to generally be within a reasonable price range - and I managed to find some really fun items, including strawberry mint (excited to use it in a cocktail) and an heirloom cherokee purple tomato plant. I also picked up a lovely little variegated string of hearts succulent and a couple other plants to add to my collection. Couldn't find a couple of the items I was looking for though (a friend asked me to see if I could find a Chinese money plant - and considering they're fairly common, I was surprised that Bristol's didn't have any), but one location can't have everything, ya know? Anyway, Bristol's was lovely and I'm sure I'll be back during future plant shopping adventures.

It's May 2025 and here to provide update on large trees we bought from Pittsford Tree and Landscape…read more(aka Village Garden Store) and they planted in Fall 2022. We've been trying for two years to get them to take responsibility and honor their written guarantee but to no avail. The attached photos were taken on May 7, 2025. They show the ridiculous way they chopped the root ball and then planted it bare root. This Sunburst Locust tree never had a chance of successfully transplanting. What replays with us are Bevin's initial words when we originally reached out with concerns about the health of the tree. She said, "Don't worry, I've never replaced a Locust tree." Well that's still true! Even when the tree dies and we are out significant money and need to start over with a reputable nursery, she NEVER REPLACED A LOCUST TREE!! AVOID BOTH PITTSFORD TREE & LANDSCAPE AND VILLAGE GARDEN STORE!!! Dishonest and a disgrace to small businesses. Original post: They won't honor their written 2 year guarantee on 2 large trees we purchased and they planted in October 2022. We have been trying to address issues with these trees since spring 2023 and still don't have a resolution 18 months later! Bevin never returns our calls or emails so we have driven to the nursery several times. Each time she lies to us and promises to come to inspect and trim the trees but does not follow through. She offered to extend the warranty to 3 years but refused to put it in writing. My last communication was requesting resolution sent a month ago via USPS Certified Mail...no response! We love to support small businesses but this one is terrible. They use the name of Pittsford Tree and Landscape, as well as Village Garden Store & Nursery.
