I was told by a friend to visit Oriental Garden Supply (No, they don't just have oriental plants). I was blown away with what I walked away with! I worked with their landscape designer and ended up with an amazing plan that I could break up into different projects so I can move forward with a budget I was comfortable with! Numerous other landscape companies declined to bid the job as it was to complex. Dan and his team created a masterpiece that exceeded our expectations. We gave Dan the direction and he created a design that embraced large natural boulders, fabricated natural stone steps, and our selection of patio surface material. These people are true craftsmen and it is worth the wait to get to your home. They are not the best at communication and responding but I believe they are among the best landscape craftsmen in the area. We purchased a Feather River door, front door from Home Depot. We were told that because our…read moreframing was 2x6 (pretty standard on newer homes) that we would have to order a custom door. $1560 later (and almost two months) it came in. After 5 months, we noticed a chip out of the front door, and realized we had a warranty from Feather River Doors. We filed a claim, took pictures, and they said they wouldn't cover chips in a $1560 door, so they sent us a color stick to repair it. The door we replaced was 10 years old and NEVER had a chip. When we were declined by Feather River, we re-read the "warranty" and saw it covers absolutely nothing. I blame Home Depot for selling a product where they can say, "there's a warranty," to get us to buy, and then have the warranty cover absolutely nothing.
