To help break-up the pandemic monotony, we drove out to apple country the week of May 23. All of the apple orchards were in bloom and the beauty was just stunning! We decided to swing by Lagoner Farms, and bought some Cortland apples which had been in cold storage all winter, some freshly harvested asparagus (which was SO YUMMY! -- what a difference it makes to eat local foods!) And some super-dry champagne-like hard cider. Can you say YUM?!?! Not only was it a feast for the eyes ... and belly .... but did our souls good, to get out of town and into nature. Even if the trees aren't in bloom, we suggest you go do this! Drive along Lake Ave all the way to Pultneyville and then head over to Lagoner for a beautiful and tasty stop! read more

Loved their selection of homemade cookies and pies. Their apple pie with the crumb crust and the carmel drizzle is sinfully delicious. I am quite addicted to their Jake and Amos Dilly Beans and have heard the Brussels sprouts are quite good, but haven't tried them yet. They have a great selection of Thousand Island cheese. The extra sharp is my particular favorite. We never leave without at least one jar of honey. As far as I am concerned they have the best prices for honey that I have seen. That's what they have NOW. A personal fave for apple picking. The farm is pretty big, they have a ton of variety when it comes to apple picking, their farmers are super kind people, and the shop is amazing for tasty local goods. I picked a few varieties this year - Jonagold, Crispin, & 20oz. Jonagold's are my choice pick - sweet & crisp. Things you have to order at the shop: Apple dumpling and cider donuts. They don't flaunt that they sell these. Why? I don't know because they are kick ass. I always pick up a gallon of apple cider when I'm here - this year they were selling Red Jacket cider. I also grabbed a few cheeses from 1000 Islands River Rat Cheese - opted for a garlic herb spread and a jalapeño/cayenne hard cheese. Apples and cheese are delish together! The veggie selection was good too -- lots of pepper varieties, pumpkins, squash varieties, and tomatoes. This year the crop was great, trees filled with enormous apples -- pretty much an endless bounty. I filled my bag until I wasn't strong enough to carry it anymore. I store those bad boys in the crisper, eat the tart ones, make pie with them, dip them in caramel, add them to butternut squash soup. Anything and everything related to baking with apples. Visiting Lagoner Farm is the perfect way to spend a fall day. It was only about 30 min from the city and the drive was beautiful with views of the beginnings of changing leaves. If you have kids, they have a play area for the kids. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the warm fall weather, sipping coffee, eating cookies and apples. This is why I love NY. read more

Prices were higher than what you'd pay in the supermarket, although selections of SOME things was better. Still, for a farm market, you'd THINK you'd be getting a better deal. guess not... But my biggest peeve is this: TWELVE BUCKS for a burger at a FARM MARKET? Are you kidding me??????? In the end, this place exists for suburbanites flush with cash, and not for those looking for a good deal on farm-fresh foods. read more

Ordered same day delivery flowers from them at 10:16am to be delivered to my mother at work by 1pm. They were literally delivered less than a half hour later, and are absolutely beautiful! Thank you Lagoner's! read more

Great seasonal fruits and veggies. If you wait to plant shrubbery, it all goes on sale mid-season. Area apple tastings in the fall. They have homemade fudge, sandwiches, soups, baked goods and jams. read more

Needed flowers for my wifes birthday but the place I thought of was no longer a flourist. They suggested Lagnors so I called the day before. Lagnors was professional and polite and took the order promising delivery at 3:30pm after I get home from work and just before my wife gets home. Right at 3:30, the delivery arrived with a seperate rose from Lagnors as a thank you. The arrangement was perfect, my wife loved them and the thank you rose. read more

Lagoner Farms is a great place to go. Its been a while since i ate at their restaurant, but it is a great place to go for dinner. All the food is farm to table. Even the hard ciders that they sell. Their flights have a cool presentation. The staff is very accommodating; they even politely kept the kitchen open longer for us, which we were very grateful for. The food was very enjoyable. I always recommend this restaurant to friends when they are looking for something new. I may have to try out their other services as well; i just live far away lol. read more

Wonderful CSA program where a small purchase price is your entry ticket to share a portion of the entire bounty of the harvests. Personable family owners and staff, reasonable prices for farm fresh lunches and dinners. Clean, open farm market, many artistic displays, a first class esthetic showplace. read more

I have no idea what visiting the farm is like, but my advice us to stay away from their CSA. The shares are small and consists of what they have most of. There is no variety. The idea of a CSA is that we provide seed money for the new crop and that we are to share in the bounty of what is grown. I am profoundly disappointed. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more
