I also appreciated the organization - the website had a map and directory on who the vendors are and where they are located. I was visiting from out of town so I didn't buy a lot of produce, but I did buy a ton of other stuff. From Georgian garlic, to truffles, to wine, to kombucha, to hand pies, to chapsticks... This is a must stop if you're in the area for much more than produce. Come hungry!

Parking was easier around noon and we actually parked at the DMV and walked over which only took about 10 minutes. Tons of vendors and some extremely delicious food being cooked on site - made to order - we really saw a bunch of things we wanted: breakfast burritos, breakfast pitas, boba, baked goods, wines, vinegar, etc. Everyone was friendly and the range of items was large. The produce was the real star of the show - if we lived here we decided we'd be here every weekend stocking up. Sadly, we mostly browsed and had a few snacks. Very nice space right on the water - you can grab a snack or a meal and sit and enjoy a water view.

Now overall variety of items is low - usually what's in season only but if that's all you're looking for then it's so much easier to maneuver than the Rochester public market is on a busy Saturday. Park over by the former Sears parking area and bring your raiseable bags. On Saturday's Happy Pickle is there and they are the most amazing pickles - discounts depending on how many you buy. Last week I got a huge butternut squash for $1 and hard to find honeynut squash 2/$1. I have purchased tons of red, green and nappa cabbage more than half off what you would pay at the store. Vendors are helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Check the Greece Ridge calendar prior to heading out as this market is not year round - but definitely a place to find great local produce for cheap.

Only a handful of people were there at 8:30 :) Since it's at the Greece Ridge Mall, there's plenty of parking right up close. No hassle of driving downtown fighting the crowds or finding a place to park. Vendors are friendly and willing to work with you. The prices were fantastic, so much more for your buck! I stocked up on green peppers, onions, garlic, brussel sprouts and potatoes. The onions were my favorite, so big and flavorful. Super convenient, great produce amazing prices!
