Came in knowing what lawnmower we wanted. We found an employee who helped load it on a dolly and into our vehicle in a timely manner. They had the best price and biggest inventory on lawnmowers, which was nice. Grabbed a few plants as well which was nice. The line inside was shorter than the one in the garden center, so we went back inside. The parking lot is trashy, so that was annoying. Otherwise friendly employees and smooth service. I like Lowe's, let me be clear. Lowe's is my happy place. I go to Lowe's and make excuses to do so, because I like hardware and home improvement and such. So let me clarify that before I go further. Overall, I've had two deliveries from this Lowe's location. The first one went well, it was a pallet of 65 bags of topsoil. The second one went very strangely, and that's what all the photos are about. First, the delivery guy came with 60 paving stones that were the wrong color *and* shape. I ordered 8" x 16" gray cement paving stones and they brought 12" x 12" red cement paving stones. The guy was apologetic, and since it was late in the day, asked if he could bring the corrected order in the morning. The next day, late morning, he called to say he'd be at my house in 10 minutes, and sure enough, he showed up then...with another incorrect order. This time, it was gray pavers, but 12" x 12". These don't match with the pavers I have or the design I wanted for my walkway, so he went back and within just a few hours had the corrected order delivered to my driveway. I'm glad that the delivery guy made it right, and ultimately things are okay. But it's frustrating to spend a day and a half waiting for the right order when someone loading the pallet just doesn't look at the SKU item number, which is clearly indicated, or bother to realize that a square is not a *rectangle* and red is not *gray*. I'll keep going back to Lowe's, but I'll think twice before I get a delivery from this location again. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Although the appliances from Lowe's are from various manufacturers, they all SUCK! I've bought a fridge and a washer/dryer from them and within 3 months of the fridge, it was buzzing loudly and first use of the dryer, I realized the timed knob wasn't turning. Then they are considered USED! I know this could be the manufacturer but why always the items I get from Lowe's? Are they receiving the reject items? I went to this store to purchase a washer and dryer. The salesman was excellent. However, the delivery person said they were at my home but no one answered. That was a lie. I took time off and went nowhere for a whole day. Found out that they never even came to our condo. So, I was ready to call it quits but the Lowe's rep promised they would be there in two days. They came but could not install the washer because the delivery person could not remove the hose. He hurriedly explained but talked too fast. Ended up having to hire someone else to install. I paid for insurance but have no confidence that Lowe's will be able to fulfill their commitment especially since it's already paid for. read more

Purchased clearance plants and was hoping to check out in Lawn & Garden so I could hurriedly finish errands. Plants were 75% off the original price and I asked if the 75% off adjustment was made and was told it was. Apparently, they don't listen to the question at the register and just answer Yes. She rang them for the regular clearance price, making me have to go to Customer Service and get the sale canceled and completely redone for the correct prices. It's interesting that the sign (included in this review) says this price is only available in Lawn & Garden. I suppose that means until they goof it up. BTW, this sign is here Every day. Absolutely the WORST customer service by a manager I have ever experienced. The managers name was Herlando (female) (spelling is probably wrong) After the Lowe's on Lemmon avenue did not have a product they called and confirmed this location had it and would have it waiting. After driving 8 miles we walked into the store only to be told they were closed by the manager. I tried to explain that the other manager just called and they had our order and told us to drive here. She then started to get confrontational towards us saying no we are closed and I'm the manager I didn't approve that. My friend stepped in and said can you please just listen to us and she then raised her voice saying we are closed sorry. Once she finally said I'm not trying to argue with you go ahead what do you want? I explained our situation and the ENTIRE time she was talking over me telling customers walking in we are closed no you can't come in. Clearly there is a disfunction within this organization. Chatted with a representative online about the return of a landscape spot light that had failed but was within the manufacturers 5 year warranty. Representative said take it to the store for an exchange. Upon arrival at the store had to wait on a customer who was returning his 8 bags of mulch and looking for the tube of Silicone that was missing from his order. Was told by return representative that I would need to contact manufacturer. I told the woman that the manufacturer was in China. Lowes you go to China and contact the manufacturer! After half a dozen trips to this location, I feel confident in writing my review. The staff have been very friendly and helpful to me. They always ask if I need assistance in finding anything or helping me with locating a cart. There is of course a wide selection of merchandise with competitive prices to follow. The store is always clean and clutter free. And I love their vast garden center. Which is a well appreciated bonus. This store is doing so well under Sonny's management, they are #6 out of all stores in customer service, that Lowe's corporate is providing them with an employee appreciation party. Which they have clearly earned. I hear they are being awarded with many goodies and cash awards as well. Great job well done!! Recently I had to purchase some flank tile for a flooring property. And was offered a 10% discount, which really helped. My budget was one amount and it still cost about $115 more, even with their help. So I am very grateful for their assistance. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE LOCATION....this is my 2nd worse experience with them and 4th overall with Lowes...just need stick with home depot from this point on! I purchased air filters. As i was opening it i realized i had grab the wrong size. I was then told since it was open they couldn't take it back for exchange due to covid! There were several people in the store without masks on. I came back within 45mins. When i got there the line was long and everyone returned was accepted. I waited to see if they would turn away any more customers...NOPE! All bc the air filters wasn't sealed tight inside of plastic. So only covid is not good for air filters but people can bring back doors hammers and wood(sweaty hands and all) but i couldn't get a returned within 45min of purchased bc it was open! Integrity, easy to say that word, extremely difficult to experience in Pro area of this store. Challenge: A quick stop in to Lowes of Chalk Hill to pick up an 8x4 piece of MDF board. Experience: No assistants available around the lumber aisles or anywhere near. No Problem - Go to the check out and ask for assistance meethinks. Maria available a checkout #2. How can I help you she asks. I would like some assistance in picking up an 8x4 sheet of MDF cut into 2 pieces to get into my car if there is someone that could help. The machine is broken sir the cutting machine is broken and not working she tells me. Strange I thought, I had waited by the machine for a while and did not see it locked out or tape across it or a sign saying it was out of order. I do really need the MDF can you ask if there is someone who can help I asked. RELUCTANTLY Maria tannoys for assistance. Lumber guy arrives, super helpful and when asked tells me the machine is great, no problems. Checking out I mentioned to Kassandra that Maria had told me the cutting machine was broken. I haven't left a review in a while , but I figured the experience that I had with this Lowe's staff was worth sharing . My washer went out on me on a Thursday , so I go about doing my research online ... looking for washer/dryer deals , reading reviews , blah blah blah . I finally found a set that I liked on the Lowe's website that generally had good reviews . So on Saturday , I went to the closest Lowe's to my house . But unfortunately they didn't have have both the washer AND dryer , so I went to this location , on Chalk Hill . The sales guy , Hector , had the same situation ... the store didn't have both in stock , so he told me he was going to call around , and that the shipment will most likely be the following Wednesday , which I was fine with , so I went ahead and placed the order . On my way home , I get a call from Hector , letting me know that he found a complete set and would be able to deliver on Sunday , the very next day ! I was excited , and thanked him for his efforts . Sunday comes around , and the main delivery guy , Selestino , walked into my house and noticed a couple of things that concerned him . First off , the washer/dryer that I'm replacing is on the THIRD story of my townhome . Second , there are two sets of stairs and both had wooden steps . So he talked to the delivery manager , Billy , to see what can be done . He suggested putting down blankets on the wooden steps , to preserve the wooden steps from any damages that a dolley can potentially do . But that didn't look very safe . So we started talking about using straps rather than a dolley and that Selestino was going to go look for some straps and that they would come back the next morning . Monday morning comes around , and Selestino comes back with the straps , and again , we decided that the straps wouldn't be sufficient enough to haul my old washer/dryer down from the third floor and haul the new washer/dryer back up . Finally , Billy shows up at my house , and he decided that they were just gonna hand-carry my 12-year old washer/dryer down and hand-carry the new washer/dryer up . That was the only way that we could do it without damaging the wooden floor . And they did it ! I told them that there was no way that I would be able to convince any of my friends to do what they did . So I'm sending some kudos and gratitude for the way Selestino and Billy and the rest of the delivery guys handled the delivery and installation and the way Hector was able to place my order in time to get me my new washer/dryer to my house within two days . read more

Up to this point, I have been a loyal Lowe's shopper. Purchased an LG refrigerator, washer and dryer, and numerous in-store items. So when it came time to replace my stove and over the stove microwave, I went to my go-to. Placed the order on-line no issues late Thursday. Received an email that my order was processing. This is the last time that I heard from Lowe's. Today, Sunday, I was talking about the order with my mom and I had concerns that installation was not on the order so we called the store where Lowe's, in their infinite wisdom, felt my items should be shipped, W. Dallas. I live in N. Ft.Worth. I was made aware that my items were being delivered TODAY, Sunday. No call. No confirmation that I would be available, no heads up that they were even coming. My mother was able to get ahold of Ariana in their corporate offices who assured my mom that the delivery was canceled and that a manager would be contacting me within 24-hours to set up a new delivery date. While this was occurring, I was on the phone in three separate calls to the Dallas store. In these three calls, I experienced a hang-up, an incredibly long hold to the point that I hung up and called them back, to what I thought was a solution to my no installation charge. I was told that I could just go to the Lowe's closest to my house and sign an installation contract. Great! The manager was supposed to call me back and I could add installation to my order. Crisis averted. So, when I get BACK IN TOWN, I head to Lowe's thinking this was all behind me. Wrong. They can't look up my order. They can't cancel my order. They don't know why I was told to come to them. Only orders in THAT STORE can be pulled up. Needless to say, I was not happy so I asked for corporate's number where I myself spoke to Ariana and CORPORATE is unable to do anything. She has to send a report to the store to have these items canceled. Since the manager was supposed to already call me back, I called the store and asked to speak to the manager, after a lengthy hold and explanation of what was going on she said that she would cancel the order but that she had to go to a register so could she call me back!?! Yep, I am STILL waiting for her to call me back. Lowe's, you have lost a 20+ year customer. I will NEVER set foot in your store again. read more

5 stars because Abigail was a rockstar employee. She politely assisted me after another employee wasn't exactly so helpful. Then she got a more familiar employee to help us search for an item that was reportedly in stock. After 15 minutes we realized it was no where to be found and she personally called other Lowe's and had them reserve my item. So Lowe's, get your inventory quantities together, it's a huge waste of time driving around to get items that aren't actually in stock whatsoever but thankfully you have competent and professional employees like Abigail...seriously...I needed this item so bad and most employees would just shrug off the issue but Abigail, like I said, rockstar! This location deserves 0 stars. They used to be great but now it's a bunch of BS. Good luck getting help. The workers are always too busy playing and talking to each other. I make sure to look up what I need so I don't have to get a worker to actually help. But now the website for this store has the wrong location listed, so you can know what you need and it won't be where they say it is. I needed a specific brush and the website sent me to the appliances section. I wandered up and down the rows for almost an hour and had enough. I put the other stuff I was getting back and bounced. I passed 6 workers on my way out who were sitting on displays or standing around talking. Fun. read more

Couldn't find the soaker that the Lowe's website says is available. When leaving, I noticed a young woman leaning over reading something at the work station at the end of the aisle. I passed 3 employees on the way to checkout. Not a single one acknowledged me. Four people at checkout too busy discussing an issue. Not a single one looked up. The hotdog girl outside said hello. I do wish I'd had cash so I could have bought something from her. At least she said hello even though she was obviously busy with a customer. The selection here looks about the same as other large hardware retailers. A rule of thumb is that most of these stores carry Bonnie edibles plants, and those are going to be $2.98-$3.98 for the smaller ones and $5.98 for the larger, gallon-size ones. There are even larger ones with small plastic cages that are $10-$12 as well. Clay pots will range from $3.97 for an 8 in. pot to $29.97 for an 18 in. pot. Plastic pots at most general retailers are generally going to be cheaper and about the same price. I was disappointed in the staff, however. While cordial, when we asked one of the staff members for help, he looked confused and asked another employee, who said, "Why are you asking me?" And she told us to ask the gardening expert (who was already assisting another customer). She did get his attention and he told her he was about to go on break, but we appreciated that he took the time to answer a few of my questions about container gardening. Then he went off to his break. While it's great to have a gardening expert, 4 out of 4 of the staff present could not answer any of our questions about gardening, which is ridiculous. It also wasn't clear how often the gardening expert is there. Part-time? Daily? We had no idea, which was a little scary. I have yet to stop by the Lowe's near my neighborhood. They are always attentive every single time I come in to the store, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. It's rare to find that level of service now a days. We have always loved shopping at Lowe's and due to our recent move this location is the closest although it's by far the worst store I've been in. We can never find an associate to assist us, the lines are always long and slow and yes that was even before the Covid-19 started. We have tried doing order pickup, after waiting and calling for 2 days our order still hadn't been pulled and we had to cancel it. This is a great store and the selection is awesome but the associates need a complete overhaul when it comes to training. My husband told me to pay off the Lowe's card and cut it up, that we will be going to Home Depot from now on. :( read more

I've given this location chance after chance and they fail every time. The staff tends to be on their phones or chatting with other coworkers more often than not and show NO sign of interest when you walk by them. I've always had to find things on my own and when I DID ask where something was, I get POINTED in the direction and told where it 'should' be. If I DO find what I'm looking for, I'm the one who has to remind the cashier that I have a Lowe's loyalty card. I truly am made to feel as if I've interrupted the cashier's day. I LOVE Lowe's as a whole... I'm just not a fan of this location. A better option is the one off of 183 and Beltline... for me anyway. read more

Customer service is really bad over here, especially the manager called Cesar. I bought a grill online for in-store pickup, then realize that the walmart next door has the same model with like 50% off the original price. I called customer service to have them adjust the price, but they couldn't do it, they told me to come into store and the staff will adjust it for me. I came into store and you know what Cesar rejected to price match. He didn't even try to find out how much Walmart was selling that grill for. As a manager at, he didn't even know how to locate the stock for a walmart store. I offered him nicely to let me show it to him, and he was like "Sir, I know what I'm doing" (in fact he didn't). His ego is too high, as a store manager, he's absolutely not professional. Eventhough the store had a "price guarantee" policy, but he would not price match with an excuse (the price is too low)... What??? Hello??? That's the whole purpose of the price guarantee... Don't come into this store and expect a good customer service. They sucks!!! read more
