I contrarcted Lowe's for new kitchen cabinets and new quartz contertops. Remuval of the carbinets begun and finshed on mArch 5. Installacion was completed on March 5. Reliable Services did a excellent job. A+++, guys! Stoned Interiors arived to MEASURE cabinets for contertops two weeks latter. On May 16, they fabraicated the quartz countertops and got dust all over the insides of my huose. Noboddy cares that I have no kitchen from March to the middle of May. Bottom line: With an in store experience on Memorial Day of 3 stars and and actual delivery/setup experience of 5 stars, I am going with 3.5-4 stars with my total washing machine purchase encounter at Lowe's Home Improvement. The Deets: My washing machine gave out a while back. It was included with my place when I bought it, so it has a few years on it...it was its time to go. I decided to go check out Lowe's Home Improvement's Memorial Day sale for home appliances to get the replacement, after checking the prices online for the month before. Well, honestly, it was not any more savings than the other sales prices I saw any other time during the month of May. Lowe's was open at 6am on Memorial Day, and I was already up so decided to go by and get the washing machine picked out and taken care of. So I found my choice, stood there with it...and stood there...and stood there...and no one is coming to help. By 7am, I am having to go up front to see what the deal is...looks like no one was going to be in that area until after 8am. Not cool. But the person must have seen my facial reaction to that and found a manager on the phone ASAP to come back to the washing machine area and take my order. This manager was very nice and positive, handled it as efficiently as possible and got the delivery to be confirmed for 2 days from that time. I'm going to say my experience in getting the washing machine at the store itself is around a 3 star experience at best. In the actual delivery of the washing machine and the setup/install (as well as the removal of the old machine), it was a 5 star experience. I got a text when they were actually on their way within a 10-30 minute window. When they arrived, it moved smoothly and like clockwork. The team was nice and conversational, and got the job done quickly/efficiently. My test runs to make sure all worked well were great and I am happy with the end result. In looking at the store experience of 3 stars and the delivery/setup experience of 5 star, I can come away with giving Lowe's 3.5-4 stars for the whole encounter. read more

Poor customer service. Each representative who passed me in the store did not speak or offer assistance. When I finally approached customer service, he just looked at me with a blank stare. I had an item # I found online for a Bug Zapper. The rep advised me they had over 10 in stock, but I couldn't find one on the aisle. He didn't offer call assistance for that aisle. I purchased a new Samsung washing machine along with the hosepipe connectors and a 5 year extended warranty. Lowes at 1920 NW Maynard RD, Morrisville, NC 27513. They had 3 days to deliver and install. The installers landed up without the connectors, Installed the new washer with old pipes with total disregard for safety, water leaks or pipe burst. They said that they would come the next day to install it. Nobody showed up. It's been 5 days now. What is the store Manager doing?. Does he know anything?. Who is in charge of inventory control at this location?. Does the guy in charge of installations know anything to send people out on a job without the required items ordered?. Do they know anything about safety at this location?. I made 3 calls to Customer care Complaint via Phone number: 1-800-445-6937. They said that somebody would call me in 24 hours. Nobody did. I have just called again and told them that I need this fixed. They tried to give me a 10% coupon as a means to neutralize the issue of coming there. Really?. at the expense of safety and leaks and burst pipes?. I called 1-800-445-6937 just now 8/2/2022 9:52 AM. I asked for the Store Manager and the clueless, crooked customer care lady connected me to delivery. These are the type of ethical people they employ in customer care. Purchased this Pennington patch seed on 5/5/23 on sale at the morrisville store. Price rang up at the regular price of $ 63.58 instead of the sale price of 48.53. Fortunately, I caught the over price. Cashier tells me to go take a picture of the product on sale. I had to walk back to garden area and take a picture since their system was wrong. Manager then asks me the correct price and changes on my receipt. No apologies. Last time checked I was not working at Lowes and they should not be over charging consumers. We go to this Lowe's a LOT as it is .5 miles from the house. My finance can go up and down each aisle, just looking. Drives me crazy!!! (Love you babe!). They typically have just what we are looking for, but normally have to find ourselves because most of the employees have no idea what we are talking about, or don't know where to find. One last update. They did actually send a guy out today to install my microwave. It's installed, it works, and I'm glad this is finally done with. I'm still on the fence on whether I would ever order from Lowe's again. Their website has a serious problem if these fees are not disclosed at the time of the order. If they fix this, I think they can avoid a lot of customer service issues in the future. I also don't like that I had to write so many emails and make so many phone calls to get this all straightened out. But I do appreciate that I now have 2 new, fully installed and working appliances in my kitchen. All the people I dealt with, from the delivery guys to the in-store help were actually really nice. Yesterday Steve, a representative in flooring, spent a long time helping me find the tiles and flooring that I was looking for, and answered all of my questions. Rarely enough people at checkout. Even fewer now that they have self check out-better hope they are working. I come here often and always have to wait for help in the paint section as well. So frustrating they don't have someone in each area to help with anything. They are also lacking in flat lumber carts and have for years. Hard to shop when you can't get a cart to put the materials on. I can see why Lowe's is struggling to keep up while HD is killing it. Horrible experience working with Lowe's that hands off all responsibility to contractor once you pay 100% of job upfront. I am assuming Lowe's under estimated the job and the contractor (Rodas Construction) was not interested in getting it done or put it at the bottom of their priority list. Do not go to this Lowe's. I would give 0 stars if I could. My girlfriend went in to get a refill of paint that she bought from Lowe's, and she gave the paint guy the exact label that Lowe's gave her on the original. The paint guy used the wrong color base, and after my girlfriend painted half of her house with the refill, the color ended up being a different color than the original color once it dried. She went to Lowe's to get a refund (really, Lowe's should pay to have her house painted, but anyhow...) and the employee rudely said she wouldn't get a refund because she "brought the paint can back empty." Do not shop here at all costs. This has been the worst experience and is still on going (4 months +) I purchased plantation shutters for 18 windows. ($8,000) They were supposed to be polywood. When they were installed they installed PVC pipe shutters, which are cheap, hollow and not what I was told I was getting. I immediately went to the store and was told by Meagan in window coverings that they would absolutely make it right. Customer service is 100% That was October 2019 and Lowe's has still not made this right. Since January, I have been put through the run around, mislead, lied to, and ignored. The store manager, Heather and assistant manager, Kimberly, have not returned calls, emails or attempted to contact me or get this corrected. They are both fully aware and choose to ignore me? What is the point of management if they don't contact the customer or communicate with them over issues? I'm at my wits end, going to contact corporate, and the CEO, Mr Ellison. I advise any and all to go to Home Depot and not this store or any Lowe's. This is the most unprofessional retail store and management I have ever encountered. I ordered a new washing machine on 9/5/21, it was supposed to be delivered 9/14/21 and the old one hauled away. A crew came, but would not do the work and took off with my new machine, leaving the old broken one behind. After much calling around, a better crew came on 9/15/21. That washer started leaking. More calls ensued. The first crew returned Sunday afternoon 9/19/21 without an appointment. I wouldn't admit them to the house due to the first awful experience with them. Another tech arrived on 9/22/21 and confirmed the leak & said the washer needed to be exchanged. An allegedly "new" one came on 9/24/21, but was damaged with a side punched in. Now I am awaiting a third washer. Neither the N.W. Maynard, Cary, NC store manager nor corporate customer non-service staff solved the problem, despite phone calls. Don't buy appliances from Lowe's. This Cary store deals with a subcontractor named J.B. Hunt, who caused numerous complications and couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. J.B. Hunt personnel drive trucks emblazoned with Lowe's logos. As such, they represent Lowe's and are a reflection on the company's reputation. Lowe's should not tolerate other companies who mistreat their customers. It's poor business sense too. Lowe's employees spend a lot of time coping with problems caused by J.B. Hunt. Those are expenses passed on to - you guessed it- the consumer base. Lowe's deserves to lose profits if they are not interested in customer sustainability. The moral of the story is to run - don't walk - to Lowe's competitors. Even if others charge higher prices, in the end you'll save money from less lost work and no need for mental health services. First employee was actively unhelpful, second employee was very helpful and found the person to cut the wood...who didn't know how to make the cut I needed. They went off to find a manager, I waited 15 min. and then looked. They'd either gone or were helping other customers. Customer service person seemed uninterested in helping (didn't actually do anything or contact anyone, and just listened impassively). Bought a washer and dryer from Lowes. It was the worst buying experience I ever had. The sales guy Geoff couldn't even complete the sale. He knew nothing about the Maytags we bought. Management was nowhere to be found. When the deliver knuckleheads showed up they broke my water line. I had to call a plumber and knock out a piece of tile in my mud room to fix.
