Would like to start by saying, save your patience, time and money. We decided to go with Lowe's because we assumed a larger company would be more organized and be able to manage a simple tile install easily. Resounding WRONG! In the beginning they sold it to us and made it seem like it would be sunshine and rainbows and everything would run smoothly, but from the beginning it's been nothing but chaos and lies. We had one asociate tell us one thing then the next person would say that's wrong and we can't do that. This was for simplest things like delivering and scheduling. Then they couldn't tell us for sure if we received all of our $4000+ of needed items, which turns out we did not receive all and they made it seem like I was trying to steal from them when I tried to recover said deficit since the contractors themselves told me they were short items. My husband and I are both RNs with a toddler at home. We don't have time to try and keep up with what should be their whole business or to try and find someone who actually knows what they're doing. Also, forget about anyone trying to be helpful and get anything done once they have your money. I am truly disheartening by this company and this whole process and wish we had gone with someone else. We bought a dishwasher a year ago, and it recently broke with no hope for repair. As we were replacing it, we discovered that the Lowe's employees who installed it, TAPED two open wires together without telling us. This could have been a serious fire hazard, and we cannot believe that the Lowe's employees did this so unprofessionally and that the dishwasher broke within a year. read more

I ordered some sand for my daughter for the grandkids sand box they wouldn't give it to her Although her name was on the order and she had the email from lowes saying bring id or this email to pick up the order So she went in showed them the email and her id and they wouldn't give her the order. After 30 minutes trying to get the order she called me. So I canceled the order and ordered from home depot. They had no problem picking up the order. I would not recommend this lowes to anyone. We wanted too order a gazebo and it was like pulling teeth. We waited for 45 minutes and no one came. They called the guy 3 times and said he was on his way. He never showed. Went to purchase a piece of plexiglass at this Lowes. The gentleman working the windows area came in to help another associate who was helping me and was thoroughly rude to that associate. The associate asked him "can you help me" and the windows associate rolled his eyes, acted completely put out, and then said "I'm really busy whaddaya got?" Well, the same rude associate went with me to cut some plexiglass and he acted totally put out. Then he said "I can't reach up there high enough to cut it...sorry." I said "Well there's a step ladder there, can you use that?" He then made a few more excuses and I just left. Last November, we ordered a new windowed front door and storm door from Lowe's. The sales rep, Jeremy, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got a great price thanks to the Black Friday promotion discount. Unfortunately, the good news ends there. The post sale and installation process was an absolute headache. There were numerous no-shows for scheduled appointments by the installation team. Nobody ever called to tell us they weren't coming. We had to repeatedly call to find out about the installation status. Once the doors were finally installed, we noticed the door hinges did the match the rest of the hardware. We ordered oil rubbed bronze but got brushed nickel. I called Jeremy and he promised to take care of it, but never followed up. He eventually stopped responding to my texts or returning my phone calls. In summary, we're satisfied with the doors, but Lowe's customer service was atrocious and we do not recommend them. read more

The customer service for Lowe's is one of the worst if not the worst I have ever dealt with in my life. I had no issue getting a sales person out to my home to take my order for new windows and doors back in JANUARY 2021, but have only had 2 calls since early February with information of someone would be getting in touch with me when they arrive to schedule the installation. However, has of this date June 8, 2021 I have had nothing but the run around after making to many calls to count with no success. All of the order has been at the store since at least MARCH 2021 but 1 window which didn't show up and no one bothered to follow up on the status of the missing window, until I questioned where it was and if it had be reordered. A week later the window was reordered and arrival date as been moved twice in the last 2 weeks after again multiple calls to try and get my order installed with no luck. I will not be doing any more business with Lowe's as this has left a bad taste with me. Shame on Lowe's a company that would treat their customer in this manner. A customer should not have to do the leg work on finding out the status of a order that has been on order for 6 months with parts setting in the store. I pay my bill with nothing to show and Lowe's seems to have no concern or urgency about resolving the issue. read more

Hired Lowe's to install flooring on May of 2017. The floor began to pop up on the ends. As of December 2018 and dozens of phone calls, mostly which were never returned they finally decided they would redo floor. But I would have to pay again at cost for flooring. Material was probably bad but the service and follow up at Lowe's was much worse.I called Carpet World in Canyon and had a floor installed in four days. The job is perfect, timely and professional. I will never use Lowe's again. read more

The lumber at this place is a joke. The the price for the garbage they try to pass is mind blowing. I don't understand how they can stay in business when the lumber is twisted like a pretzel. Then the employees go around spray painting the shelves and do it during business hours. Can they not read the hazards on the side of the can ?? This was a surprisingly easy trip. I had just been in Walmart and realized as I was driving away that I had forgotten one thing. Since I slipped and fell on a wet spot on the floor and had to fill out an accident report I didn't feel like going back in the store to pick up the last item and didn't even know if they carried it. I figured Lowe's probably did so I just decided to go in there. They had the product and it was $3.98. I went on my handy-dandy cell phone and found that the same item would have been $3.68 at Walmart and figured I wasn't going to worry about $0.30 difference so I bought it. I expected to take a long time and a lot of walking to find it but their signs were so good that I was able to go straight to the paint section and by looking down the aisles I figured out which aisle had spray cans of paint. After a little bit of looking I found the exact item I was looking for which I had a picture of on my cell phone and took it up to the cash register to purchase. There was no line so that was quick too and boom I was out of the store probably less than 10 minutes after I went in. Would I go back? Yep. read more

I went in to buy a tool that the website said was in stock at this store. I hunted all over the tool section and could not find it. When I went to customer service, all the lady at the counter said was "it should be over there." She called for someone to go to tools and after 20 minutes, nobody showed up. This is why Lowe's stock keeps plummeting. Home Depot is the better store and way more professional. read more

Bathroom remodel priced at $300 per square foot. Just received a quote from Erin Hemelstrand at Lowe's for a renthouse bathroom remodel - came in at $17,000 for a 48 Square foot bathroom. I was absolutely floored - average square foot home sales in Amarillo are $64 per square foot and new construction is under $120. The quote included $6400 for plumbing and $4795 for Electrical - that's 3 lights, a vanity, shower kit and new toilet - all under construction grade. Horrible Customer Service. If you are ordering a custom project, for example a door- I would strongly suggest going elsewhere. We ordered a door from here 50 days ago, and still haven't received it. The manufacture sent the wrong measurements the first time. Coordinating with Lowe's to get a new one has been a headache. We call and never receive information back. Still waiting on our door. There are a few nice people but that doesn't make up for incompetence. This location has lost my business forever. read more

I'm surprised the red headed fellow behind the counter in bath fashion was so busy staring into space and blowing spit bubbles. That instead of selling me a high end exposed plumbing shower and filler. He explained that I should go online and order it to my door, guess so I wouldn't cause him to sell something. INCOMPETENT PEOPLE ARE RUNNING THIS STORE. I made an order with them 2 weeks ago and they have had my money for 2 weeks. When I called to check in on the order wondering where it was, they said it hadn't even been sent yet...even though the order was ready to be sent...and was paid for. Then I was told that they would be shipping it over night to me so that I would get it today...Alas, I have still not received anything. Worse yet, they can't even tell me if the order was shipped out yet or not...apparently they dont keep great records of shipments they make...and they know nothing...but as long as they have my money, I guess they don't care about anything else. I am so disappointed with the way in which I have been treated and disregarded. I finally talked with some corporate supervisor and told them that I want my credit card reimbursed and I will be taking my business elsewhere...I still have yet to be reimbursed! The tile guy is supposed to come tomorrow to install tile i do not have. awesom! Such bad customer service that I think they must be unhappy people who hate their jobs...because they just dont care.
