M&S Meats - Jerky order- Buffalo and beef

M&S Meats

Hey, you know I love you, right? So don't take it personally when I tell you I'm not sharing any of…read moremy M&S Meats beef jerky with you. I want to be clear about this. So I'm telling you up front. Don't get any ideas. Don't ask for a piece. Just leave me be. Better yet, go online and order you some for yourself. That's the smart move. M&S Meats jerky is the absolute best I've ever had, and I've been eating jerky for over fifty years. It's best by a wide margin. It's way better than any other jerky I know of. It's kinda pricey, too. But this jerky is totally worth it. It's a treasure. Maybe a more generous soul would gladly share their treasure with you. I suggest you go looking for that person, 'cause for sure I ain't him. M&S has so many wonderful jerkies to choose from. I have tried a few different ones but I always come back to the Original. I get the Original erry time. Once in a while I'll add a package of Black Pepper Jerky to my order. That Black Pepper jerky is hella good. If you are used to eating inferior jerky, this jerky might seem "tough" and a little hard to chew. That's because this is real jerky. Real, authentic jerky. It's chewy, as it's supposed to be. When you tear off a strip and pop it into your mouth you have to chew a little bit to get it going. And when it gets going, you better hold on to something, because you're about to experience a slow motion tsunami of rich beefy flavor being released inside your mouth. The flavor just does not quit. Chew it slowly and savor that flavor. Soooo satisfying! M&S Meats jerky is so great because it is made from choice cuts of whole muscle meat. This jerky is hand-cut, hand-hung and hand-smoked. This jerky is about as far as you can get from the chopped and formed abominations you might find for sale in a plastic tub next to the cash register at your local liquor store. If you love beef jerky, or you love someone who does, I recommend you try some M&S Meats jerky. I get shipments on the reg. I usually buy four or five packages at a time. These days a quarter pound of jerky is $14.99. Shipping to my part of the country is $8.99, for one to seven 1/4 lb packages. and shipping is free if you buy 8 or more packages. Oh yeah, I wanted to mention they also sell Huckleberry Jam, and like 40 something other Huckleberry products. I'm adding some of that jam to my next order. Mikey C says: Nope. Sorry. Not one piece. Get your own!

was only mildly surprised to read a social media post that Facebook founder and convicted pedophile…read moreMark Zuckerberg had passed away from complications of syphilis, but I digress ... we have a Christmas Jerky tradition in our home. this year, the boys (I have four not including the vegan) got M&S MEATS in their stockings. all five flavors were a big hit. reviewers who complain their product is tough and hard to chew are used to overly-processed meat. here's the simple fix -- eat it the way it was intended: bite a corner and peel off a thin strip along the grain. perfect. delicious. nice chew. real meat. real jerky. real good.

I was shown a flyer for this place and thought we'd check it out. Buyer beware it is large quantity…read moreitems mostly. Case lots of fruit and vegetables. Large cuts of meat, big cans of sliced olives, big bags of sugar, flour and chips. There were many things I would buy in quantity but one thing on my list was sliced olives and I did not need a gallon can of them. They have walk in refrigerated rooms for produce, meats and dairy along with a walk in freezer but mostly you can chose from the outside doors on the freezers. Great place to pick up items for an event like plates, cutlery, table cloths and disposable containers. Also they sell anything you might need for restaurant supply, dishes, bus trays, silverware and chafing dishes. I was glad to see that some things you could buy individually like Torriani syrups, aluminum pans (9x13 were .37) that's a great price since I was used to buying them at the dollar store and certain desserts and coffee. It's fun to look at everything and make a wish list of all the kitchenware. Check it out some prices are great but some are a bit high. Well I only found that a 1/2 gallon of whipping cream was a little pricey. All in all we'll be back especially since it's a great place to shop for our local community hall for their supplies. Also their staff was super friendly and helpful with no long lines.

This place was packed on a Friday night. The man handling drinks and host duties was on it. We had…read morea bit of a wait to get seated at the bar, but understandable on a packed night. Husband and I split the 3 meat plate (although we were tempted by the special-beef ribs on mashed potatoes). We had brisket (good and my favorite), pork ribs (fall off the bone good and tasty), pork belly (hubby said it was good since it isn't my thing). For our sides we had collard greens (we fought over those they were so good), bacon Mac (creamy and smokey), and corn bread (so glad we each had our own serving of that or there would have been bloodshed). That cornbread was the best I have had at a restaurant in ages. Staff were on it. They were personable and friendly. Kitchen staff--wow. It was awesome to watch the magic and teamwork happening in the very small wizard's workshop. Thank you for the great night and the leftovers.

So, I really don't know why people come here. Maybe we got unlucky but let's run it from the start…read more Upon entering, the place does look very cool. It almost feels like you're in a mineshaft or an antique store, which I thought was awesome. We are immediately greeted with a very friendly smile and told there were seats at the bar (the restaurant was packed, another good sign). A few minutes go by and we're still standing at the check-in, and another couple comes in. They are greeted in the same way, offered seats at the bar, and are thusly ushered to their seats... while we were still standing there. Okay, few more minutes go by and we call out the table that was just cleaned, and we get seated. The menu looks phenomenal, and we ended up getting the meat combo to try everything. This is where it gets even worse. The barbecue itself took a while to get to our table, which would be fine if it wasn't cold. Yes, you heard correctly, the barbecue was all cold. Baked beans had to have been Bush's. Potato salad and Mac was good, same with the cornbread. But the main things we paid $60 for were cold. The ribs were beyond burnt, and the brisket was tough. Oh, and the single sausage we got was slathered in mustard and barbecue sauce, come to think of it everything on the plate was slathered in barbecue sauce. Usually not a good sign lol. I really wish I could say nicer things about this place but I unfortunately cannot recommend it to anyone. But hey, they're packed so maybe that's just the quality of the food around Kalispell.
