Alright!! So we flew in from Michigan to purchase a R350 diesel. I was ify about things but my dad worked out everything and was comfortable with it, so ok right? Tom is our salesmen. Doesn't really seem too confident, knowledgeable or maybe he's hiding something. Idk seemed weird holding a conversation with him or listening. Cool guy though. We are then sent over to the finance manager. He had a cute little dog in there! Definitely sad to see the dog in a cage in an office and gett They offered a 25.00 gas card for a diesel Benz- purchased from out of state customers When we went to take off to leave after all the paperwork was squared sat, the steering wheel wouldn't move. Literally 3 ppl tried to move this car and the steering column wasn't budging. The service manager came out and took the vehicle to the back. We bought a 2012 Kia Optima with low miles on it and had made arrangements with them to get some items replaced that they said they would take care and then the disaster started. The bumper was poorly installed after a repair, the radio was supposed to be fixed and was not. The back up camera was supposed to be fixed and it wasn't. The list keeps going. It was really a bad experience. The items listed were never properly addressed or fixed at all. The moral of the story is unless you get it in writing don't plan on it happening. Absolutely awful service. Salesman was late for our appointment, another salesman did not hesitate to snag me up. Promises the world, flips through a little book a lot, spews out memorized lines, lets do a credit check. After seeing I had less than desirable credit (pretty bad actually) he showed me his less than desirable attitude. Didn't bother to really come to the lot with me, kept pushing for me to buy a car I absolutely hated, and once I get the information I needed about he car I actually wanted, we left. Practically shooed off. A month goes by, and I have now received my 10th letter for a loan application (get this) FOR THE CAR I TOLD HIM NO ON. After I told him I'd come in with the down payment if I was interested. I check my credit, and they applied EVERYWHERE with my name, when I didn't even want to buy through them. I've had a car since the week after I dealt with this nightmare of a crook-festering dealership. I called in to tell them to stop, some lady half giving a damn says she'll put me on a DNC list when I'm asking about them doing applications under my name without my permission. Do yourself a favor, buy from LITERALLY anyone else. This place seems like the type that'll sell you a crap car that'll break down in exactly 46 days, and the guy who sold you the car will either show up on the news for running a drug lab, or stealing 300 identities from clients. read more

Low book Sales is very dishonest and the service department doesn't know what they are doing. This is a long story but please read the whole thing for your own protection. It started in the middle of February when I wanted to buy a car I was already preapproved through Capital One auto finance but I need it to buy the car from a dealer and because I found the car that I wanted I had to go to a dealer to have them finance it and so I went to low book sales. Low book sales told me they can give me a better rate and when Wells Fargo called me and did a phone interview they told me what my rate was going to be well when I went to go sign the paperwork the rate was 7% higher than what I was quoted and I told them what they had told me and they got mad at Wells Fargo because they wanted to make extra money off me. Two days later I lost my job but my wife still had a job so when they called to verify my employment they had told him I no longer work there so I had to come back with my wife and re-sign the paperwork and just her name when I did that they even raise the interest rate so fed up and desperate for a car we signed. I was also sold an extended warranty that was supposed to cover everything other than where in tear items. When we were going to get the car the service department had to do a safety inspection and they told me that it's not going to pass because it had air suspension and the windows were tinted too dark but Ted the service manager told me for 100 bucks he could make the safety inspection pass so I agreed. A couple days later I found out that the car had extensive damage underneath the front of it but if low book sales would've inspected it like they should have I would've known that problem and I wouldn't of bought the car. A month and a half later it's making a weird noise like a knocking noise and the air conditioning also went out I took it to the service department and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and kept throwing parts at it. some of the parts I had to pay $740 for because they said they were not covered under warranty. My car was there almost a month and they didn't care I now have my car back and when I got it back my alignment is off pretty bad and I had VERY little coolant in my car. I have to give a 5 star review of David at the Lindon location, after a terrible experience at another dealer last year. I had essentially one requirement 0% interest. I would qualify, but before he ran my credit he checked with his manager to make sure. It didn't apply to vehicles with negative equity, which wouldn't work for me. David was honest and upfront, and something which I haven't experienced in my car buying life. Thank you for not perpetuating the stereotype, and making sure you did the right thing first. When I went in to Low Book Sales in Lindon Utah I should have known I was in for trouble when everyone I looked at in the service dept to sales looked like they had been kicked in the stomach. I was looking at a low buck car to use to commute to the ski area and back. I was assured the car ran on two occasions. The ad (which they took down immediately)Said the car had only one key. Told them I'd be driving 3 hours to get there so they set an appointment for me. I got there and the car had no key! They told me they could get a key but it would take 3 or 4 days! As time went on with my Jeep Low Book Sales 590 North State Street Lindon, Utah 84042 (801) 428-0432 I found a used 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon on line at this dealer. I called from California and asked about it. Brodie was kind enough to tell me all about the used Jeeps they had available on 10/17/2015. I put a down payment on the jeep. I was told I could buy it as is or they could certify it. If they certified it they would fix any issues, and I would be getting a car with no problems. I paid $2,000.00 for the certification. They had the car ready for me to pick it up in Las Vegas, NV on 10/31/2015. I drove it home on 11/1/2015. I took it to my mechanic and the heater core was leaking, I text Brodie and he said to get some estimates. Cheapest I could find was $595.92 and I was told they could fix it for $520.00 so that's all they will pay. I paid the difference of $75.92; this repair was done on 11/18/15. I informed Brodie I had an engine light on and the code was for the Catalytic Converter bay one and I had the computer reset and would let them know if the light returned. Brodie said ok let him know if it did. On 12/23/15 I sent Brodie a text asking him when I could expect my license plates to arrive. He said maybe next week and their receptionist would call me when they got there. On 12/29/15 I sent Brodie a text letting him know the engine light came back on and same code for the Catalytic Converter and we needed to get this fixed. I also let him know the bushings in the Track Bar were shot and I was now getting DEATH WOBBLES that started on 12/18/15 and on 12/20/15 I replaced the Track Bar with a new aftermarket Rubicon Express Track Bar. On 12/30/15 Brodie asked if it needed a CAT or a SENSOR, I said a CAT and informed him I was given a phone estimate of about $1,700.00 t0 1,800.00. he said he would talk to his GM and let me know. 1/1/16 Brodie said "My GM said that there's nothing we can do because the jeep passed emissions here." I looked at my paperwork and it states that dealer will pay 100% of all labor and 100% of the parts for the covered systems that fail during the warranty period 45 days or 3000 miles. I let dealership know about this well within the 45 days. His reply was the 45 day warranty only covers the powertrain. My paper work was sent to the wrong state and after 3 phone calls and 2 text messages I finally received my paperwork to take to the DMV. I had to have a smog test. I failed the test because of the issues I mentioned. I have had the problem fixed for a total of $1,065.00; they still refuse to help me with this cost. I have pictures of the heater core and the rotted out Catalytic Converters. I was under the assumption by paying the $2,000.00 for a certification by the dealer I could have a problem free Jeep. At least be able to register IT!!!! On 2/3/16 I asked for all paperwork pertaining to my Jeep. 2/4/16 I have the paperwork on this jeep and the items taken care of in the process of certifying the Jeep. This is just one note on the paperwork from the mechanic doing the work. Note "Replace bolt and washer for track bar at the axle. Found the inside hole worn and twice as big as the outside hole. Tightened as tight as could get, should hold tight." (This explains why I had to have the Track Bar replaced) Well this is my story of the out a state car buying experience from Low Book Sales Dealership in Lindon, Utah. My husband and I were interested in trading in our two cars for a new used car. First, on their website, I chatted with a "representative" online, but it seemed rather like a machine. After that chat, I was texted multiple times by different people, to whom I responded and never got responses back from. My husband and I decided to go in to get one of our cars appraised the next evening at 8:15. We walked in and were greeted blandly by a salesman who looked less than excited to see us. We asked about an appraisal, and he was very minimal in his conversation as we went out to the car. He didn't ask for our names or anything and was not very friendly. After taking a look at the car, we went into his cubicle to pull up additional information. He had no idea how to run the CRM system and spent the next 10-15 minutes away from the desk with someone else. When he came back, he put an offer on the desk, with no explanation/information/reasoning or anything. We left really disappointed in the customer service we received and probably won't be coming back to do business with them again. read more

I recently got in a car accident resulting in my current vehicle being totaled. I went in to low book because they has a similar car to my previous one. The salesman seemed uninterested in helping me and kept walking away while I was in his cubicle. While I was waiting in the cubicle to test drive I could hear several employees making inappropriate jokes. When I did not want to finance through low book they turned rude and nasty with even the manager yelling at me that this is how it's done here. Very poor service. read more

Dishonest sales tactics! I bought two cars from them, and was told that "the cars come with an extended warranty". Sounded great. When someone says it comes with something, without any further qualification, I assume it means its included in the advertised price. I already had financing arranged before I went in so I was a bit careless in checking the documents they gave me during the sale. My bad, I should have read them more carefully. It wasn't until I got the loan documents from the bank that I realized they had charged me about $2500 per car for the extended warranty that "came with the car". They never said it was extra. I assumed it was a previously purchased warranty that was transferable. Guess I should have checked. Can't rely on Low Book Sales staff to be honest with you. read more

I went into Low Book Sales in Lindon to get a "free AC check" and I was told that my compressor needed to be replaced for $1300. Good thing I went and got 2nd opinion because it just needed Freon $60 and it is blowing cold air. If the compressor was indeed bad, no amount of Freon would allow the air to blow cold. My husband and I went in last night 08/25/18 at around 8 and looked at some cars my husband and I were really interested in purchasing our family vehicle....there was three men working in there office and usually when they see a customer out on the lot they come out to help/greet you well we were there for about 30 min looking at the lot waiting to see if someone would come out to help us and all the men where just watching us from there window acting as if we wernt there ... so we decided to go into there lobby to see if we could get helped since they didnt come out to us as we walked in we stood there in the lobby as the men just sat there on there phones and completely ignored us my husband and I felt very offended as we walked out of the lobby since no one helped and we were just ignored the three men gathered together in a office where they were just watching us get into our car as my husband was putting away our daughters stroller they just laughed at us as we drove out my husband and I were very Interested in purchasing our car from low book sales but after this experience we will definitely not be going back . I'm very offended that just because me and my husband our a young looking couple they look at us as if we can't afford a car . Very BAD customer service !! read more

I am in the market for a used car and landed on their website. They had a Landover Range Rover CPO (certified pre-owned). This looked like exactly what I needed, so I called the number and talked to one of their sales reps. He told me the car is still for sale, but I'd better hurry in since it won't last long. I drove in rush hour traffic from Bountiful to Linden. Two and a half hours. When I get there, I ask for the guy I talked to on the phone, and they said he wasn't in, but they could still help me. I asked about the Landover and the sales rep said that it had a bad timing belt. Confused because it was CPO, I asked if they were fixing it. He laughed. I asked how it's CPO with a bad timing belt. He said it's not CPO. Long story short, when asked what he was going to do about it (after showing him on their website it says CPO) he simply shrugged and says "sorry" . Don't believe what they say or show on their website. They are dishonest and don't care about their customers or people's time. read more

Terrible. I requested a car from the salt lake locations and they took a very long time to get it ready for me after I had put $500 down to hold it for me. After 2 weeks of saving the money for the ridiculously large down payment they wanted for such a cheap car I had other fees to take care of so I was then unable to pay it when it was finally ready after calling and calling to find out. They didn't seem to hasty to get the car ready for me so I just told them I didn't want it anymore and they said they "legally" can't give me my down payment back. We've also had very bad experiences in the past with a truck my dad got from them. The heads went out on it after a month of having it and I myself keep going back to get it fixed and the mechanic was being very shady and hesitant to fix it and it never got done. Do not sell your car to these guys! Worst experience of my life!!!!! Everything I was promised during the carpraisal and email exchanges went out the window as soon as I walked into the Lindon location! I did their carpraisal and had a great experience negotiating with THEIR employee for an agreed price. However, once I arrived at the Lindon location they totally reneged on the agreed price. Thank goodness I printed out the emails from THEIR employee showing THEIR offer. It took me having a heated discussion with the manager before they agreed to pay me the promised price. Sadly the manager and the appraiser then proceeded to repeatedly slam THEIR own employee saying she didn't know what she was doing. Then they expected me to leave them my car, and either receive a check in the mail or come back to their location in a week to pick up my check! WTH?? Why would I leave you my property and trust you to not only send me a check but to send it to me for the agreed amount?? The appraiser's response? He said they didn't know if I had liens or loans on this car? Then call my bank!!! 2nd heated discussion just to walk out the door with a check. That is promised in all their adds and website. The last straw was being denied copies of the endless forms I had to sign. Including forms that weren't even filled out. I had a problem leaving them my signature on blank forms so, I asked for copies. After a 3rd heated discussion I was given copies.......but written across each copy was VOID in big black letters!!!
