We are new to the vegan scene and loved everything we ordered. We started with the tasty dumplings and they were stuffed with soy protein and diced veggies. Delicious! ! For dishes we had green fried rice , ma po tofu with vegan ground "pork" and the Japanese Udon stir fry. Everyone was delighted with the tastes. We were shocked at the reasonable prices. Flipping FABULOUS!!! Come to find out there is a location closer to me in the Hudson Valley - in Ledgewood NJ. Stopped here coming back from Maine to Ny and so glad we did. The service was wonderful, this man conquered 7 tables by himself and we only waited up to a couple minutes for each encounter. Their coconut milk ice coffee is a MUST. The spring rolls made gluten free were absolutely deliciously wrapped in rice paper. Thai coconut soup - GET IT!! (Only issue I had was the peas and cabbage were a little overwhelming). Next time I will get the soup - broth and tofu only. Mongolian fried rice was impeccable. Bathrooms were clean, place was easy to get to and street parking was easy in the evening on a Thursday. I had this amazing food at the Boston Veg Fest and this is the very best Chinese food I've had since being vegan! You truly can't tell the difference outside of everything tasting a lot more fresh! I haven't actually been to this restaurant, but they had a booth at the veg festival this Sunday in Boston. I paid $5 for 4 Ocean Rangoons and they were amazing. I unfortunately didn't get a photo of them before devouring them with plum sauce, but I believe they were filled with a soy protein, vegan cream cheese, and corn. They were crispy, sweet, and really did taste like they had some sort of mock seafood inside of them. I know it's only a small appetizer, but because of the Ocean Rangoons, I am definitely going to make a trip out to the restaurant next time I'm in the area. Delicious! read more

Lets set aside for a moment the cult and cult leader Ching Hai who is behind the Loving Hut chain.... I was first introduced to Loving Hut in Orlando some years back. I have been meaning to try out one of these Wusta locations for years now. The dumplings were good. The sweet & sour "chicken" was well executed but greasy. They make it with wheat gluten so it approximates the texture of chicken. The pieces are small but the batter is like a typical chicken finger style batter. Tastewise I wouldve preferred straight up tofu fingers in this dish. Also because the gluten pieces are small, you're eating a lot of batter/grease. I also tried the pepper grill "steak". Everything about it was perfect except for the soy protein they used. It was the saltiest thing ever and was sliced thin like lunch meat. Small gluten cubes would have been better for me and the sauce was salty enough on its own. Each dish was served with a hear shaped portion of rice. I'm glad they survived the pandemic and there was a steady stream of delivery service orders going out the door. I'd have to say that the food was 2 stars but they earned an extra star with the total experience. Back to the cult thing.... Because these restaurants are franchises and run locally, I have to brush the chain's origin to the side and just take a look at what the location is doing. Does some of my money go to a cult leader who built an illegal island in protected waters in florida who then fled the country to avoid prosecution? Perhaps.... This place is EXCEPTIONAL. I never thought I would find a place this fucking bomb in the burbs but I am pleasantly surprised to find out that it EXISTS. "Vegan cuisine" caught my eye on doordash's list of restaurants in my area. I made a note to order from here sometime very soon in the future. Our delivery order would accurately be described as a "haul". I'll start with the apps first. We ordered the sesame scallion pancakes, dumplings, and fresh spring rolls. Now I am a HUGE scallion pancake bitch (who isn't) and order them almost every time I get asian cuisine of some sort. These were slightly atypical from the classic but more hearty and had peas in them if I remember correctly. They were DELICIOUS. They also provided a ton of them so we had more than enough to eat on the day of and for my lunch leftovers AND dinner leftovers. Divine. I used to order dumplings from this really good dim sum place in Philly and it was like every other dumpling I consumed was sub-par. These dumplings were the best I've had since my Philly days. They're filled with stuff that's unexpected actually, there was definitely green in there but also like a cheese substance, resembling ricotta cheese. The dumpling shell itself was thick and maintained its integrity without being too soggy or breaking apart. Amazing dumplings. The spring rolls were of the vietnamese variety with a translucent wrapping and stuffed with more healthy fillings: tofu, carrots, and greens unlike the carrot, mushroom, cabbage mish-mash I'm used to. They were big, long, filling, and tasty. We also, (when I say haul, I mean haul) ordered the pepper grill stir fry, veggie lo mein, and pho. The stir fry had an amazing sauce and contained a bunch of different veggie proteins with peppers, carrots, and green beans. We selected brown rice which was amazingly hearty and rustic brown, long grain rice that took up real estate in the actual container instead of on the side which was the only bummer of the meal. This was scrumptious and even ate well the following day when I consumed it cold at work. A healthy meal that I felt good about afterwards. The lo mein was SPECTACULAR. One of the best lo meins I've had in a while. The noodles were bountiful and that sauce is to die for. There are also a reasonable quantity of veggies in there to make me feel somewhat decent about eating it. This is a MUST order. I went to vietnam last year and I must say that I'm not the biggest fan of pho. I've had plenty of shitty pho here and there back in the US but this does not fall under the category. This was some of the best pho I've ever had, including in vietnam. The broth is out of this world and the noodles are over flowing. This is perfect for a sick or healthy day. I LOVE THIS PLACE. One of the best vegan establishments around. This is to say, the food is delicious and really puts a dank spin on traditional Chinese take-out. Most items are vegan versions of such and are done very well. I love the udon noodle stir fry here. And all the appetizers are delicious; I highly recommend the sampler. It's a simple looking establishment. Server brings a hot pot of tea over when you're seated and greeted. This is not a fast food. Sit relax. Fake meats are not a favorite of ours. I sometimes wonder if the enthusiasm from vegans and vegetarians about places like this is that the whole.menu is simply "safe" from meat contamination. I've been a patron of the folks who run this restaurant for years. First it was Buddha Hut, but before that some of the staff worked at Quan Yin on Hamilton (which apparently is also now a Loving Hut.) The menu that Loving Hut has now contains essentially the same offerings Quan Yin had back in the day. If you're completely unfamiliar to any of these former establishments, it's basically faux-meat versions of asian-style dishes. What's great about Loving Hut in Worcester is that the food is ridiculously cheap. Anywhere else the appetizers, soups, and entrees could easily be a couple more dollars each and it would still be a good price. All the food is very tasty, but I've always been fond of the wonton soup and crispy chicken entrees. Try the cake too! This place is a unique little asset to Worcester providing vegan friendly options. Bright, spacious space with street parking available. Although I'm a complete meat lover, I'm almost always willing to try a place once, even if it doesn't seem to fit my preferences. Surprisingly, although vegan friendly, many of the food options have placebo tasting meets that are actually tofu based. I think that the texture of certain foods that are similar to meats can trick your brain into thinking that you might be eating meats. Food review: Mozzarella sticks - honestly wasn't a huge fan, the best way to describe the taste is similar to warmed, uncooked pizza dough with spray from a can cheese after taste. The breading was actually pretty good and the way it was fried but the actually inside wasn't really to my liking. Entree - I ended up getting the gods rice noodles, which is basically a curry noodle dish. Although no meats were in the making of this dish, I thoroughly enjoyed it, the protein tofu texture helped peak my interest. Came here for their monthly buffet and paid around $12 plus tax and tips. There was just one table of food, maybe 8 dishes to choose from at most? They take a while to refill and cannot keep up with the demands of customer. I had to wait a while for a lot of dishes to be refilled several times. The flavour was good though. I would have liked food labels since I couldn't tell what I was eating, especially the fried food. They do have a lot of vegetable dishes but no seitan ingredients which is usually used for mock meat. This place fills up quickly, even around 2pm when we came. read more

I'm not a huge fan of tofu, never really have been -- so I usually go without. Also, I find the tofu here a bit soggy at times. The noodle and rice dishes here are really good! We got a few items including the rangoons, mushroom nuggets, lo mein, god's noodle, eden sesame, and cheesecake. Everything tasted authentic and was delicious. You would not know this was a vegan restaurant. It's great to be able to eat everything on the menu! I also got a thai iced tea, which was really great. The loving hut is a must for me whenever I am around the area. I live far away (2hrs!) Most of the time I visit Worcester just to eat here. I love it everything it's amazing. If you are not vegan/ vegetarian you might not like the faux meats. I love it. To me it tastes delicious... I am not a fan of any "faux meat" that tastes too much like meat--(gross). This place was great! Not a huge Vegan foodie but the reviews were good so we decided to check it out. I had loving fresh rolls, which were really different (in a good way.) They had like crispy yams in them and were just very fresh and yummy. I also had the Vietnamese pho. It was not as big of a bowl as some of the other places serve but a good, comfortable amount. I live in Alaska where Pho restaurants are basically on just about every corner, and I've eaten A LOT of it over the years. This was by far the BEST PHO I've EVER had. The broth was perfect!! Flavorful but with no one seasoning dominating. I added hoisin sauce and a bit of Siracha to my soup. It had some different pieces of soy protein in it that resembled regular beef, and while they had sort of a spongy texture to them, they were still very tasty. I enjoyed this pho immensely, I literally ate every last drop of it to the bottom, and I NEVER do that!! I had a coconut pineapple smoothy with my meal that was delicious and tasted very fresh, and flavorful, I'm about 98% positive it was made with cream of coconut too! It was like a delicious pina colada, minus the alcohol and not sickeningly sweet. For dessert we split a piece of their carrot cake. It too was pretty decent. A bit different texture, more dense, with a slightly doughy taste but not cloyingly sweet, and overall very good for a vegan dessert. The lady who waited on us was very nice and the place was clean and bright. I will for sure be going back here to eat again.
