This was the worst nail salon. if I could give it no stars I would. Worst salon experience I have ever had. My mom and I had a 1:30 appt for 2 manicures. They told us to sit, they didn't show us the nail polish to chose from. Crazy because that usual th first thing they say. There was a small selection on the wall. They sat my mom after about 20 minutes. Didn't talk to us. We waited probably another 20 mins The tables were dirty. She put my hands in cold water and walked away. If they hadn't started my moms I would have left. left me for a long time. She didn't talk to me. She laid the polish on so thick it would dry and pretty much ruined now No lotion. I haven't lived in Yakima long and I'm very peculiar about who handles my nails because I personally do not like it when some nail techs burn my nails or shave off my skin but not here! Here they were very accommodating as to what I wanted sadly they didn't have the colour I wanted but they tried their best to make it happen. I was also seated right away. My cousin and I had our nails done here in Yakima for her sister's wedding. We both did gel manicures and my cousin had a pedicure, as well. The nail techs did a great job through the whole process They took the time to help us choose our colors and were very patient. They chatted with us some and kept us engaged. We had the same lady do our manicures (I didn't get her name, but she was fantastic!) After our manis were done, she inspected them and made sure all was well. I do NOT RECOMMEND doing business here!!! RUN fast in the other direction!!!! I called the day before and scheduled an appointment for two. I let them know we wanted two pedicures, a manicure, and a full-set. We arrived before our scheduled appointment. They did not greet us with a hello, just told us to "sit down" at two of their stations. We sat down and waited and waited. Eventually they told me to move so they could paint a girls nails that asked for an extra service than apparently scheduled. I moved and 25 minutes past my scheduled time, I walked out. I had a appointment to go to and no longer had the time to stay. My mom stayed and they painted her nails but did not finish applying all the appropriate coats nor did they do her pedicure we scheduled. One hand was sticky and dull and the other was shinny. I asked my mom if she paid and she said yes. I called them back to complain they asked for payment for a job they didn't finish. The guy was real smart and said, "I'm the professional lady!" I replied back, "Yeah, so you'd think you'd know how to schedule appointments and paint basic nails." The guy called me back about 15 minutes after we left and told me, if I came back he'd give my mom her money back. When we arrived, he proceeded to try and argue with us. Tell us he was not giving her, her money back and told her to sit and wait longer and he would finish her nails. I told him, "Look. You're not touching me our my mom. You should have finished her nails the FIRST time she sat in your seat. We will go somewhere else." He proceeded to raise his voice and try to argue so I said firmly, "We don't have more time waste. We have things to do and time is money which you're wasting." I do NOT RECOMMEND doing business here!!! RUN fast in the other direction!!!! read more

Came here after finding out they had a mini pedicure chair. I brought my (almost) 3-year-old daughter for a special mommy-daughter date to get her first pedicure. They were AWESOME. My daughter had a great time and they were very kind- she even got a little leg scrub and foot massage- which she loved. I thought they did a great job for my pedicure too. Honestly, this is the best salon that I have been to in Yakima. The entire staff is extremely kind and gentle. They always remember who I am and the conversations we've had before so it makes the experience a bit more personable. I always get shellac and they always gently file my nails instead of filing them down to the skin like many other places! read more

The guys at Lovely Nails did a good job on my manicure. I have been there twice now and haven't had to wait more than 10 minutes after walking in without an appointment. There is a small language barrier there and I have a little trouble hearing them. However, when I ask them to speak up because I can't hear them clearly, there has been no trouble. I'll keep going there. Maybe next time I'll go for a pedicure. read more

I was pleased with my visit and my nails look great! I will definitely go back again. I had a manicure and gel nails with white tips. The gal that did mine was very thorough, trimming my cuticles and massaging my hands, wrists, & fingers. She washed her hands frequently, had me wash my hands, sanitized my nails & cuticles, and used clean tools. They guy didn't know I had color powder on and started to file my nail and when he asked me where I got the color I told him back home in Seattle, then he said sorry I don't have those colors and can't do it. Then I told him ok them remove them and just get shellac. Told me he could but had to break my real nail I was like Jesus Why?? He's like they are too long. Left two of my nail with no color and when I told him to at least add gloss he said NO I will not do your nails. Will never come by again and I don't recommend nobody to come. Rude af read more
