Painless overall. My chin is the problem area as the skin is sensitive but the hair is very difficult to come out which requires a lot of time plucking after the wax. Akirah was amazing and professional. She definitely took her time and takes pride in what she does. She was knowledgeable and very friendly. She made me feel comfortable from the get go. She would explain what she was doing and ask before she did something (plucking eyebrows) to ensure I was good with it. The pricing is very on point compared to other places I have been. Although I'll warn you that the main smell in most of their lotions is similar to the UdderlySmooth lotions you'd find at either Trader Joe's or Dollar Tree (in travel size). If you're not in to that smell, you might not like the lotions at Seabolt and Co. Also the lotions/body sprays are more expensive than say, B&BWs.

Once called back to what was supposed to be the waxing room, I was a little surprised to see a back room that looked to be a broom closet under construction with peeling paint. It was the polar opposite of the front part of the store which is elegant & beautiful. Afterwards, I was only charged for the half price Brazilian so I'm guessing the underarm wax was comped due to my 45 minute wait. I was appreciative and bought some lovely smelling pineapple bath salts for $6. Making things right is good customer service. When she asked me to turn over, I couldn't understand her so I asked her if she wanted me to turn over and she gave me an attitude. When she was done she just left. I gave her a tip but probably shouldn't have. The ceiling looked nasty and the massage room was cold. No warm blanket and no bolster for the ankle or knees.

She was incredibly thorough and clearly very knowledgeable. Not only did she use effective massage techniques, but she also incorporated stretching and other therapeutic modalities that really targeted my problem areas. From the moment we started, she focused on my concerns with professionalism and genuine care. I felt noticeably better right away--Ling truly went above and beyond. In the past, I've enjoyed massages, but typically only went if someone gave me a gift certificate. After this session, I realized the true therapeutic benefits of massage. The was products used never irritate my really sensitive skin. Plus, wait for this...they cover my red skin with concealer so I can go straight back to work. Although you don't need an appointment you can call and get one. I hope you get Amanda she did a great job and was super patient when my little had to potty between eyebrows. Great service, great conversation and looking forward to coming back ANY day that works for me!
