Getting my eyebrows microbladed was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I did a ton of research and picked Erica Kidder, a master microblader, and also the owner. I knew she was good when it took over six months to get in. I also follow her Instagram and there isn't one bad job posted. Every person's eyebrows look absolutely amazing. I love her because she has very strict rules for pre-care and post care which is great. She even microbladed her own eyebrows! The first initial appointment took a couple hours and really wasn't that painful - maybe just a little uncomfortable at times. I got mine done at her second location in Over the Rhine, Cincinnati Ohio. The procedure can last anywhere from 12 months to three years and is worth every penny. read more

Having your brows done can be a bit intimidating but when you put yourself in Erica's expert hands all the anxiousness is explained away. I had my brows microbladed in June of 2017 by Erica Kidder and have from that day regretted it. The shape was way too much for my small face and the color used had little to no warmth which caused it to heal very bluish grey within months. I wore a hate for months after because they were so dark so the sun did zero to change the color. I have since begun removal sessions in hopes to have a brow that looks like it belongs on my face. THis has been an absolute horrible experience that could've probably been avoided had the shape been properly drawn on my face prior to microblading and colored in. Instead, I was shown lines on my face and told to "imagine the negative space". Well, clearly my imagination was different than hers and I know this makes me partially to blame as I did not realize how hey would actually look. Anyway, I've learned a lot about microblading and permanent makeup since this experience and the things I will do differently moving forward with these procedures. I have talked to some of the best in the nation who do microblading and pmu and all beside one said to remove because they were too dark and too large for me and this was months later. My sister decided to go to the lady helping with my removals to get powder-brows done and her experience was completely different than mine and her brows fit her face perfectly and the color is natural and soft. Mine were black and turned grey/blue with no sun touching them. I reached out to Erica kidder and she basically told me sorry I wasn't happy and good luck. Overall, I would always look at healed results of the artist before moving forward because my initial pic right after my session that has recently been removed from Dayton Microblading Instagram page looked nothing at all like my healed results.
