We needed to move quickly to get our new home under contract and Guy was there every step of the way to answer questions and make sure we got the best deal possible. I have used Guy Oberg and Oberg Properties on two house purchases now and have been extremely pleased with the experience on both buys. We weren't very familiar with the process of buying a home, Guy was more than helpful and always there to walk us through every step of the process. Culhane has been my agent for nearly four years, helping through multiple closings. The last one…read morewas challenging, because it was an older house that we had been renting out and we tried to go the discount realtor route with horrible results. We made the decision to go back to Culhane, and what a difference it made. Eric Engberg, our listing agent, gave me a comprehensive list of the repairs that he recommended that I do make the house more marketable. He helped me find contractors to do the work, and in every case his recommended contractor gave me a better quote than what I could find on my own. He took so much care to ensure that everything was going to go right, communicating throughout through the process. His marketing materials were top-notch, the listing was well written, and we got our offer perfectly according to plan. Delaine Kaplan handled all of the contract-to-close responsibilities, and couldn't have been better to work with. Eric continued to negotiate amendments on my behalf. Between the two of them, I couldn't have been in better hands. My wife and I have resolved that Culhane will be the first number we call the next time we decide to move.

Don't sign these leases without reading the special stipulations at the end of it. You will be responsible for a ton of out-of-pocket professional cleaning with proof of receipts etc,. And that part has nothing to do with getting your deposit back. They only care about the rent on time and going as cheap as they can on the maintenance of the propterties they manage. I'd imagine they are good for homeowners $$ but NOT for renters with bad credit

Concerns I raised during the move-out process were not properly addressed in real time, and key issues were only responded to after escalation and public feedback. While you state that all deductions were supported, I maintain that the process lacked transparency and consistency, which is exactly what my review reflects. The account being marked "settled" does not erase the unresolved issues that occurred during the tenancy and move-out process. I stand by my review based on my documented experience.
