We have made our first home payment and have no idea when we will get to move in because Palm harbor keeps giving us the run around on getting the skirting and finishing touches inside done. We are furious and it's been such a horrible experience. We thought we'd have the summer to move our family in and get settled before school starts...we may not even be in before school starts! UGH!

She told us we should lock in a price soon because the cost of materials would be going up. We found a home we liked and put a down payment and picked out the decor and appliances. A few days later we got news from Louri that we had to change decor because the things she thought were available were not. She had also told us we needed to put down twenty percent, nonnegotiable. After personally speaking with the lender we found out that due to our credit we could put down five percent. In late February after the freeze we got a call from Louri asking us to come in. She said that the price of our home had gone up $10,000 because the cost of materials had gone up. This was in spite of our having signed a contract and the house should have already been made and close to being delivered. We had already paid to put the pad down, also. We are of the opinion that we were price gouged possibly because of the storm they think they will get more profit and down payment from someone else. We also had to jump through hoops to get our deposit back, they demanded a copy of the cleared checks in spite of the fact they had our money. We would not recommend this company. They are obviously there to cheat young soldiers who don't know better.

The sales men were very nice said feel free to look around and ask any questions and they would provide information. It was pleasant and no one follows you around trying to make a sale. I've never been here before, so I was a bit concerned if I had any problems they would fall between the cracks with all the on-going changes. BOY was I wrong. Ken and Marc were the best sales reps and still keep in touch. the new general manager Erica was amazing too. When the weather forecasted thunderstorms for the day of delivery she was able to have the delivery company come 2 days early to set and tie down my home. I finally provided my family the home they deserved and it was smooth because of them.
