So my experience overall was just odd. Luckily, I take everything with a grain of salt. I was in the area, and I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed. I knew Santorini's was across the street and I wanted to eat there (review for them is posted) Ok so I go into the wax room, lay down, and close my eyes. Open my eyes a little bit and there are 2 or 3 additional ladies in the room with me (employees) watching apparently a lesson in eyebrow waxing. Okay, the lady doing my brows "is a very good teacher" - her words. Go for it, girl. Despite this, I decide I want a mani. And then I decide I want a pedi also. So eyebrows done, I sit in the chair for my pedi. Basic stuff, no frills. The usual. It was 630 pm when I arrived and they closed at 730 so I wasn't trying to stay there all night. Plus, starving. Really nice girl but she scratched up the tops of my feet with the callous scrubber. Not sure why she did that. Didn't really notice til about an hour later. On to the mani. Very meticulous. I'm almost certain the ladies employed are fairly new to nails and salon business. Really sweet people. They just need some more experience.

I was also very tired and at this point I know I'm not coming back here again! The lady comes back and then proceeds to do my nails . She is rushing and leaves polish on my skin and at this point she leaves before I can even say anything. I didn't know how when I first came inside they were like confused like I'm standing there waiting for someone to decide they want to do my nails. Sasha used hot towels on my hands twice which was nice, and at the end there's a short hand massage with nice lotion. The salon is clean and well-organized. They had tons of colors to choose from - both gel and regular polish. I paid $37 (not including tip) for an acrylic fill and gel manicure. Also, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! This place was busy as soon as they opened at 10 AM. A woman came in as I was getting my nails done expecting her usual person to be available without an appointment. She was surprised to learn she would have to wait at least an hour. This place is good, so expect to wait a while if you don't make an appointment.

I found a pedi here, and a haircut, wash and blow out at a rockville centre location that I have an appointment with on Thursday morning. I called the salon, ended up leaving a message, they got back to me and I was able to get in for Sunday at 1:30 after work. At first one of the employees came off as slightly rude. I don't know if she was trying to be she was asking me what I paid on groupon for the pedicure. I got both the pedicure and haircut deal for $15.13 after a $20 off promotion code so I didn't remember what the pedicure originally cost and it didn't say what it was when I went to redeem the groupon. So I felt like we were on the way to getting into a mini altercation over what I paid on groupon. After I got past that I picked my color and sat in the pedi chair. They did the pedicure pretty quickly which I appreciate and I gave the lady a $5 tip because I got such a good deal I figured I'd overtip a little. The lady who asked me what I paid on groupon said if I came back they'd give me a pedi/mani combo for $20. I don't know how they can operate so cheaply and still survive keeping the beauty spa but I don't know if I should know something like that. I might be back I didn't mind the pedicure job they did. For a Sunday no one else was in the salon but me when I went but maybe they are busier during the week or on Saturdays I don't know.
