Visited the Love Shack while at DFW today. The place was full which is always a good sign and thankfully there wasn't a line to order. I got my food within 15 minutes of ordering. I ordered the Cheatin' Love which is a turkey burger with a side of fries that wasn't included with the burger. The burger itself was underwhelming with a strange aftertaste and the fries weren't fresh or salty. Overall I had high expectations that left me disappointed.

G r e a t service this time around. I would like to note that the airport isn't that busy. The restaurant is cute and has a little bar if you're looking to find somewhere to sit and get a drink. The food itself was solid. Not the best burger around, but had it's positives. Overall a solid spot to come hang out at the airport. TIP: they have outlets all around the bar to charge your technology!

This spot is in the airport so I wasn't expecting a 5 star experience but I at least thought the food quality would be somewhat fresh but to my disappointment the bread for the burger buns were stale and thrown onto the burger with no care, the bacon tasted as if it was sitting out a while and so did the meat, and the veggies were wilted. The fries were not bad. I wouldn't stop here if I see this chain in another airport again. I was on a work trip and hadn't eaten all day so I just ate enough to fuel a bit to keep going with my day. The staff was actually really nice however, which made the experience a little better. It's an airport so the hustle and bustle of the place is still felt due to the open walls setup for the restaurant but I was still able to plug in my laptop and work some without getting too distracted with what was going on outside the walls.

Worked out well for a delay before a flight. The grilled chicken sandwich was good and served quickly. You can order through the QR code on the table or wait for a server. As expected, service speed depends on the size of the crowd. Next to gate 11. AC plugs under the bench for the tables against the far wall. Was able to recharge the computer and phone and grab a bite. Hope you have good luck and...Enjoy!!!

This is probably the best place to get a meal at DFW Terminal E. Only problem is Terminal E has the worst food in all for DFW. Usually if I have enough time, I jump on the monorail thing and get food elsewhere. Didn't have that good fortune this week. As others have mentioned, the ordering process is confusing with both counter and waitstaff. Even at the table, there is an option to scan a QR code and place an online order or order with a server. We ended up ordering with the server and she was pleasant enough. The food itself was underwhelming. Really no difference between this place and a typical fast food burger. The bun was not toasted, the patty was just kind of limp, very small and didn't have a lot of flavor, the bacon was skimpy as was the egg on top. Fries were just OK too. I feel like I had better meals here in the past, maybe I just caught them on a bad day, who knows? I'll likely never be back so it will alway be a mystery.

Located inside Dallas / Ft Worth airport this combo take away and table service of sorts spot is found by the gate E11. You can walk up to one area and order to go or you can sit at a table and scan the qr code to order and wait staff will bring you out your food. The online menu isn't the most user friendly and could stand to throw some pictures on there. The food is then brought out in paper box/baskets, making it a bit hard to get too if you got the small one. The food was good for the airport (fries were hot and fresh and a good size for the price) and service was swift.

    Snapped photo of receipt

Beware!! Had lunch here while traveling. Food was good, service was mediocre at best. Paid my bill, left a $10 tip and snapped a picture of the receipt for my expense report. Later noticed my card was charged an additional $10 on top of the tip. Tried calling multiple times only to go to voicemail and a full mailbox. Cannot get ahold of anyone.

Service took a while. Thought I was going to get left behind by my flight. Guy seated next to me ordered at the table but decided to have his to go. The fish sandwich had varying temperatures. Only the fish was hot but everything else including the bun were cold so it was weird eating it because of the temperature changes n the palate.

Traveling through Dallas and decided to grab a quick breakfast before my flight. To start, the service is the absolute worse. Would not recommend, there's other options on the concourse to choose from. Save yourself from the disappointment.

It was okay. Slow and inattentive service (great when paying attention--friendly at last. Food was okay, but nothing to write home about. And I have not heard anything good about the way Tim Love treats his employees. Just say no.

$20 for a vodka and tonic, $10 for a beer. This is offensive pricing even for an airport establishment.

Fries are refried instead of fresh. I wouldn't trust any produce from this spot. Bun also seems like it was toasted twice to heat it up.

Normally, I don't consider people from St. Louis to be credible deli evaluators, but I was desperate and made the hour drive to Grapevine. We got there at 11:15 and the line was nearly to the door. Within 30 minutes, it was well out into the street. That was a promising sign. The sandwich menu covered the entire wall over the counter. Lots of non-New-York sandwiches like Cubans, gyros, etc, but over in the left corner were the classic Ruebens and pastramis. I went for the latter. A REAL NY deli usually has a few soups like split pea and chicken noodle and matzoh. No soups. Bummer. They had a half dozen sides - 3 kinds of potato salads and a few slaws. I went with the German potato salad. The drink option was spartan - they tossed a styrofoam cup at me and pointed to the soda fountain. The pastrami sandwich was OK for Texas. A SUPER pastrami sandwich on hard rye can get me moaning like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- only I don't have to fake it. The German potato salad was watery and bland - I should have gone with the mustard potato salad. Turnaround was on the slow side. Napkins = paper towel roll on table. Flimsy plasticware. The overall vibe was affordable utilitarian. I'll give the sandwich a 4, everything else a 3. Next time I'll drive the extra half hour to Cindi's.

I made a mobile order and swung by on my way to the airport. When I walked in, it wasn't in their mobile order stand and there was no one at the counter. I waited a short time for someone to come from the back, and my sandwich was ready, but sitting packed up, behind the counter. Why have a mobile order pickup area of you don't use it? I ordered the turkey bacon avocado. It is a bit cheaper from the other chain sub shop in Grapevine, and I was interested to see how they matched up. First off, they added my pickles. I like pickles and it can slip past people's attention, as it is not a standard topping. The bread was soft and the sandwich was a good size. The bacon was nice and crispy, but I found the filling a little skimpy. The turkey was completely lost. The strongest flavors were provelone and bacon, but it is essentially a turkey sandwich. There just wasn't much of it. Nor the veg. Lettuce and tomato were just barely present. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't GOOD. As other reviewers have stated, this airport location is really only a "grab and go" spot and they have no seating, nor are there are any tables and chairs anywhere nearby for patrons of McAlister's to sit and have their food. On the day I came here the staff were making the sandwiches quickly. I ordered a club wrap, and by the time I paid and grabbed my chips and drink, the sandwich was being handed to me - impressively fast! Prices here are on-par with airport "supply and demand" mentality - meaning overpriced because they know you're stuck here with nowhere else to go for food and drink. The wrap was $15, and when I asked for chips and a drink I assumed I was ordering a combo, but their soda dispenser was broken so I was charged another $4 for a bottled soda. Note that if you pay here using a credit card, they also charge an additional fee for that. On my bill it was listed as a "credit card surcharge".

I went back to the counter a few minutes later and the young lady at the register was very nice and understanding. The wrap itself was dry and didn't have much flavor. It would have been better with extra Caesar dressing. I love McAlister's, but I was a little disappointed that it wasn't as good as other locations, especially given the price.
