Wanted a fresh set for my upcoming baby showers. I wanted something cutesy, blue and fun. I love my nails! Not my usual nail place, but thought I'd give it a shot since a few pretty mama's from my sons school, come here also. Although I have had pedicures here several times. Very happy with my nails! read more

Got my nails done here two times. The first time they was pretty nice. The next time I can the lady there did a horrible job and I complained to her about I didn't like my set and she kept convincing me that they were pretty. I told her that I did not like the nails because she take them off and she was being very rude. I will never go to this nail shop again ever. Thank God I found another nail shop in El Cajon and their way better if anyone's going to go to this nail shop I'm just going to tell you good luck they wishy-washy and I don't believe they care and customer service at all. I paid 80 bucks and end up taking the nails off so sad. read more

This place used to be my go to place to get my toes done. I did my toes here about 2 weeks ago and a few days later half of my toe had became blue. This place gave me a TOE INFECTION. My toe is leaking out a brown liquid which is causing my REAL toe nail to lift up and i am about to be left with NO toe nail on my BIG TOE. I am very disappointed and i will never becoming back to this place ever again. I hope they go out of business and i want my money back. I tipped really good too this is very disappointing. read more

I got my nails done here a couple days ago and now it's starting to swell up and it might be an infection. This is never happened to me before so it's really surprising because I go here often. I just came back from getting my nail done from this establishment. I paid $37 for extremely poor service and horrible nail job done. I won't return to Love Nails. I've been coming here for years, but after this last experience, I won't be back. I walked in without an appointment and was told only one person was available. I agreed, assuming a simple powder set wouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, she clearly didn't know what she was doing--my nails were bulky, uneven, and powder was dripping off the sides. I showed her a reference photo, and she still got it wrong. I politely asked if someone else could fix them. I was told to come back six hours later, even though I was in obvious discomfort and had plans. I stayed calm and asked multiple times for help, but was ignored. When I asked to speak with the owner or get a contact, they refused. Eventually someone fixed my nails, but my fingers were left sore and cut from removing the excess powder. I've never had such a painful and frustrating experience. Completely unprofessional. read more

Whoever the nail tech sitting next to Lin is, she's hands down the worst one there. I had an awful experience with her. It took her over an hour and a half just to do a basic overall color on my short nails because she was too busy chatting with her coworkers and watching on her phone the entire time. She was so aggressive and cut me five different times on both hands, and when I pointed it out at the end, she laughed in my face. I asked her to shorten both pinkies, she said she'd do it at the end and never did. One of my thumbnails was super thick, and when I asked her to file it down more, she dismissed me and said, "No it's good." I left with cuts, bleeding fingers, and a terrible attitude from her. Absolutely DO NOT get your nails done by her!! read more

Good little nail place. Quality is good and fair priced. It's always packed when I go in so make an appointment.

This was my first visit ! I wanted a pedicure. Unfriendly. atmosphere. it was a stretch to give them 2 stars. $27 for a standard pedicure! I won't go back read more

The tech who was doing my nails was talking shit about me the whole time because I didn't like my nails and I was telling her to fix it ( my money). The other tech who was sitting next to her started talking shit and eating loud purposely to piss me even more off. They talk shit in their language about everyone. I don't recommend it and the tech messed up my nails even more purposely because I asked her to stop chewing loud she only started to cuss me and calling me a bitch in her language. The service is shitty like them. The quality is horrible because I had a cut on my finger. The vibe is horrible read more

I've been coming here for about a year now after jumping from one salon to another trying to find a nail place to make it my permanent place. I've tried couple of ladies here and honestly never had a bad experience Wendy and Vicki are both amazing and really good. BUT today, I had the pleasure of have Ann work on me and wow! Love love love this nail spot. The service is great, and I'm always leaving with a good experience. Great vibe here!

I have gone to this place twice. The first time I did the red tip. The sides were not filed and stuck to my fingers. The second time was the white French tip and well you can see how bad of a job they did. Also, I had an appointment and waited 20 minutes past my appointment. read more

New to the area and been on the hunt for a nail salon. I found this place and made an appt. I couldn't get service! Made an appt for 5:15 and was barely acknowledged. It's 5:40 & I just left, after being ignored when I tried to ask how long. They were too busy to care. Left and made an appt somewhere else. Its a shame for them because I'm a fairly good tipper. Also- apparently they're cash only. I didn't have cash. Maybe they should tell ppl on the phone???? The ONLY thing I was impressed with is their COVID-19 precautions. read more

Service wasn't the best, very rude after I had asked her to add some touches to my nails. I wasn't very happy with the finish look since it looked nothing like the inspo, I asked again for a file down since they looked chunky, refused me and told me it would be an extra charge and to come back in 3 hours. If you want good quality for the insane prices they charge I suggest going somewhere else, they're not very welcoming here. read more

I had recently posted a review about my recent visit and after I called to complain I asked for a refund they agreed as long as they can remove my nails. I showed up and one of the ladies noticed and first thing she requested was for me remove the review. I told her that it was not an option and I just wanted to remove my nails and get my refund. Then a few of the other ladies spoke up and continued to ask for me to remove the review. I told them I will think about it while they remove my nails. As one of the girls started the process she continued to ask that I remove and will not finish until I agreed. She then kept insisting she redo my nails but as I told her no. one of the ladies stood by the door begging to remove the review. Honestly at that point I felt so uncomfortable and harassed. I allowed her to redo my nails because they will not leave me alone and just do what I ask. The nails she had redone came off 3 days later. So unhappy and will never go back. This place gives hostile vibes and my actually finger nails feel sore. read more

I want to say that I give this place more stars because I have come here many times over the past 2 years as i live around Sadly, as seemingly nice as this place is I wonder if their techs all even have a license. I have more times than not, had sub par experiences with full sets, regular gel mani and gel pedicures. I have been cut many times in my cuticles by 3 of their nails techs, and the application is SLOPPY! The "massage" was a woman just rubbing cuticle oil on my hand for all of 3 full seconds.... as a hard working woman, I will TIP GOOD and appreciate someone who will do something so simple yet important. Many times i've come in with an appointment and still waited over an hour. I have concluded that they care more about squeezing in as many clients as they can, while disregarding repeat customers or giving great service to ensure a repeat. They know my face and who I am and still it feels awkward every time. There is no excuse that every single time I have come here, it's been a sub par experience to say the least. read more

I received a pedicure two weeks ago. My friend comes here frequently so I decided fo try it out. Big mistake, I will never leave my normal salon ever again. The lady who did it hurt me. I said ouch and she continued to dig into the side of my toenail. Well anyways 2 weeks later and I have developed a massive infection. I don't know whether it was from dirty tools or her excessive digging. I have been on antibiotics for 2 days and it keeps getting worse. Not worth the pain!! Update: I now need to have my nail removed. read more

I thought that every salon greeted you when you walked in and inquired what your needs were... Well, not this one! Nope! I literally will sit there for 30 minutes ignored before I'm even acknowledged, if this is your thing, then this is the place for you! Lol But hey... Maybe it's my fault since I only come here as a walk-in, maybe they only respect their appointment makers?! I don't expect to be waited on right away, but some acknowledgement would be nice IJS. Manners go a long way... How many times has this happened? The last 3 times I've gone. read more

rude and low class I will never go back to this place. I supported them individually when they were making personal appointments during covid, had been coming here for years... I stopped by to get a simple pedicure while they had at least 5 customers being worked on, I asked if they could fit me in after 7 pm. instead of giving me a simple no, three of them talked about me in Vietnamese before telling me they were closed despite the plethora of customers inside paying and those that were still being worked on. They showed no respect for the ten years of loyalty I showed them plus supporting them during the pandemic. I always tipped generously and treated them with respect. instead I received no respect in return- over priced and overrun with rude locals who they perceive to have money but tip low and don't show respect - zero customer appreciation or loyalty read more

Alexa A, if you weren't happy you should've spoken up. I've been going here for 20 years and I've always been happy. If I don't like a color I let them know right away and they change it. And yes, the price is always different because it depends on what I ask them to do. I pay anywhere from $75 to $100. Sometimes I get a lot of art work, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I get gel toes with spa pedicures and chrome nails. Don't be unhappy and post like it's their fault, speak up for yourself. read more

Absolutely, one of the worst nail places I have ever been to. First off it took three hours second the lady that did my nails turned my nail into the smallest little nails and took hours just filing I had to tell her I have to go she gave me to another lady to finish she was so annoying she would get mad because I told her to clean the design it looked very messy and bad attitude. One of the worst! First I asked for Lynn and I was told to come once I arrived they told me she's not even working today! However, I get manicure she took forever to apply it (2 hrs ) to remove acrylic and apply simple gel. Two nails already off (yesterday did them) they accept only cash so you can't get your money back and I'm sure they don't file taxes properly that's why only cash. Bad customer service and rude the kept laughing about on customer because she was negotiating their false prices. Be aware of their prices because they will over charge you. The lady was doing only refill she told her it's 37 then after started she asked how much full set she said 32!!! How come full set is cheaper than refill?!!! read more
