The place is clean and tidy, there was a line, but it went quickly. The team behind the counter seemed like they were working well together. The person who scooped my ice cream was friendly and offered me a cup and spoon in addition to my waffle cone. I really appreciate this since it was a hot day. The only other thing that could be better about this place is if they had one or two non-dairy ice cream options. Otherwise, great spot!

Their soft serve machine and hot fudge machines were not working. Price was reasonable: under $10 for 3 "small" (1 large scoop) cones including a topping for each. The ice cream was specialty and had AMAZING premium home-made ingredients- I had the "yippee skippy" flavor ice cream: peanut butter ice cream with carmel ripples, brownie bits and some (chocolate?) covered pretzels. SO GOOD. I would go back for that alone. The only thing about my ice cream was that I tasted a few icy crystals throughout my ice cream- which to me means it may have melted and refrozen (or crystallized somehow) so it wasn't perfect. I should have taken a pic if their sign. It said basically "Nutrition Information: Don't even ask! We put tons of WI cream, gobs of tasty homemade ingredients so that our ice cream is SUPER YUMMY! Amazing looking premium unique flavors, one labeled "This $&!@ is out of control" or something like that! They also have super caffeinated ice cream flavors. CRISPY BRUSSEL SPROUTS Sweet and spicy soy glaze with sautéed red peppers and scallions. These were a little too heavy on the sauce for my liking, but otherwise very good. BUFFALO MAC & CHEESE Cavatappi pasta tossed in a creamy mac sauce, topped with crispy buffalo chicken, blue cheese crumbles, and onion straws. We added bacon and chicken, and this was a top pick for us! The buffalo sauce had the perfect balance--not overly spicy, but enough flavor to complement the creamy mac and cheese. CPB CO. FISH AND CHIPS Craft beer-battered haddock served with Northcoaster fries and house-made tartar sauce. Another top pick for us! The fish was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly fried. Honestly, one of the best fried fish dishes I've had in Minnesota. Unfortunately, I can't report on the beer as I'm not a big drinker...Sorry! Overall, a fantastic experience with great food, welcoming service, and plenty of variety. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Duluth!

The only small downside was that the Brussels sprouts were still a little undercooked for our taste, but everything else was excellent and more than made up for it.
