Our grill is burnt and was told 15 min ago that it will be changed. We're waiting 20+ min just to cook our second round of meats. Let me first start by saying my family and I loved going here, fun experience to cook in front of the kids. They raised the prices about $7 more per person, dropping ALL the sushi, slashed the menu, and brought in nasty seafood substitutes. I don't know if it changed owners, or is struggling financially, but this seems like a last ditch effort before closing down. The meat seemed different, and gray before cooking; bulgogi no longer prepared with carrots and onions, no more garlic chicken. And now you have the choice of shrimp, octopus, squid--that I would not be brave enough to try the latter. The shrimp however are not prepared, head, shell, poop vein intact, which they only brought FOUR shrimp to my table of 6. Lol literally the cheapest bulk shrimp on the market and they have to make sure they don't over do it and accidentally let everyone at the table have ONE shrimp each lol. The building itself is never cleaned, the bathroom is always in disarray, with a putrid aroma you will notice 15' from the bathroom door. Broken tile, stalls, lights, fixtures, improper ventilation, trash. The buffet and ice cream area is pretty dingy, and not kept clean (ice cream spoons laying in the saddest ice cream bath water, cold buffet trays). The wait staff is doing what they can, it's the owners responsibility at the end of the day. This place seems to be struggling and I don't know how they haven't repeated their B grade they received years ago. Tonight's dinner made my whole family sick with the BG's... like the scene from Bride's Maids. I hate to be a Karen about this review, but you are going to get people hurt or worse. This was a last minute lunch as we were in town for work, figured we'd get our money's worth on all you can eat. I wanted sushi, wife wanted BBQ, their server told us they don't do that, it has to be both when you sit together. I figured I'd give it a shot, but was disappointed. He brought me my sushi, but no wasabi or soy sauce. When I asked for it, he brought me wasabi and teriyaki sauce. Had to ask for soy sauce again. Refills were almost nonexistent. Restroom is ADA compliant, but no ADA signs. BBQ was ok, no salt on tables nor was any provided. Sushi was decent, but missed my little girls California roll so I gave her my sushi crab filling. I was hired on the spot to wash dishes in this restaurant no interview or identification needed all he asked from me what was my age and I was hired in less than five hours and asked me to come and work the next day. Didn't question much because it was basically my first job The kitchen consisted of only Hispanic people that could only speak Spanish and not understand English one person who could fully do both wasn't in there for that long, but there were some who could do it half way with gestures. If you get a job in the back he will avoid talking to you about being paid and you will not be able to sign a W-2 document unlike the people in the front. You basically are going to be paid under the table unlike the non ethnic waiters in the front with uniforms I wrote this review because I washed dishes with dirty water from the leftover food scraps and grease/ash from the plates for 6 hours straight as I was taught to, and he decided to ghost me after texting him about asking why he can't just let me sign a W-2 the next day instead of next week. If I were you I would be wary of your health considering that the people in the back preparing and handling your food for you to ingest to your body are being paid under the table and he can throw them out whenever and they were not interviewed like just like me. Usually I love this place, always go here on my birthday. Went a couple days ago and it was the worst visit yet. First time dining in at a restaurant since covid started so was excited. First they told us they would seat us right now, then waited another 30 mins. We were already talking about another place and I was the one who said let's wait a few more mins then they finally called us. Our waitress took our order and came back ONCE then she never came back. We could even see her just hanging out doing something in the back but never said anything. The people are nice I just sometimes have to wait a while for someone to come around my table which is kinda like a negative because there's no never more than 3 other tables when I'm there and always at least 3 servers on the floor. The quality of the meat here is bad, there was a lot of fat on the brisket (strange as we've never had this issue anywhere else) and the bulgogi definitely had not been marinated for much time. The food lacked any flavor over all. Considering how much we paid to eat it was not worth it and we aren't ever coming back. The service was okay, not great, but also not bad. Their salad bar doesn't make up for the other things that were lacking. We gave the place a chance despite what we read. I understand that Korean bbq options out in the Antelope Valley are very limited so I understand how this establishment is still here, but I'd suggest Gen BBQ in Northridge even though it's a drive, I think that's way better than here and I'm not a fan of that establishment either, but wish we would've just gone there. I just stopped by with a party of 12 people and first thing the waitress tells me (@ 8:20 pm), you need to order before 9 pm because we close at 9:30. The first round of brisket meat they provided was good as they brought the second round of meat, it was all fat hardly any meat. If it was possible to give no stars I would. I've been to this place many time and have received sub-par service. I was told that I was not allowed to order all you can eat sushi because my mother and sister did not order it as well. The server did not trust that I would not share my "all you can eat" with the rest of my group. We were not given utensils and they did not come to service our table so we had to get up and ask them to bring us utensils. We then requested another server after. All three in my group ordered two rolls each. My mother got her baked roll, and all of the "fired cheese" was cold. She did not receive her other roll that she requested. When we got seated she only gave us one menu and asked what we were going to order before we could all sit down. When we ordered the all you can eat and three meats, steamed egg and rice to start, then we got up for the salad bar and while we were up, they gave our table away. Once we were seated at the new table, our meat arrived about ten minutes later and was completely wrong. We told a server that we had to flag down and it was delivered another ten minutes later... wrong again. By the third time around, we were given beef brisket and told it was pork belly. Tried to correct the wait staff and was told no it was the pork belly. Waived another wait staff member and ordered pork belly again and this time they got it right. By this point, we had still not received our rice and when our meat was delivered the first time they said that it'd take 20 minutes because they needed to make more (understandable to an extent). Half an hour later we were told the same thing. Also, still no egg. The egg arrived near the end of our meal when we tried to order bulgogi. We waited twenty minutes and it finally arrived and by that point we were done with this restaurant. We did not have a dedicated waiter/waitress throughout this entire ordeal, the quality of the food was sub par at best and I think the best thing I can say is they change your table top grate pretty regularly. Food was good. Prices were decent. My only gripe with this place is the service being so slow. We went on a weeknight and we were seated quick. However, no one tended to us for ten minutes.
