Trust me, it's worth walking or driving down To this shop! The store has an eclectic mix of offerings ranging from local art to vintage finds to recycled and up cycled and new items. Even some jewelry. Everything is thoughtfully curated and unique, not the typical items found in a tourist shop. Yes, there are items that will remind you of your trip to the beach but they are not in your face shouting "Beach" but more the essence of the Beach. For example, there are lots of items in turquoise, aqua and the colors of the sea. This works for me because its my favorite color, one I wear often and have touches of in every room of my house. Needless to say, this store speaks to me! The beautiful hand blown, glass nightlights feature butterflies, moons, cottages and dragonflies; they would be a great treasure to take home and remind you of your visit or a lovely gift for a friend. The owner works with local artists and carries many pieces in various mediums. There is always something new that catches my eye. Whenever I'm in Cannon Beach I wander down to Found knowing that I will always find something I can't leave with out!

And what a multifaceted jewel it is, too - like a dragonfly eye, or a glimpse of what a mantis shrimp might see. I got to spend time in the store yesterday, appreciate the delightfully curated offerings for sale, and to chat with the proprietor, Jillian - and I am so glad I did. I needed that dose of delight and energy, a joy to have in our town. As another, much younger resident of Cannon Beach said to me a couple of minutes after I walked out of HipNest, "More people need whimsy in their lives!" I am already looking forward to my next visit to my close-to-home whimsy dealer, and to selecting some treasures with which to decorate my own nest.

On top of the lady at the counter being short about not being able to return the pants (I didn't try them on because I bought the same style pants from the Seaside location earlier that day) they had a mildew/musty smell to them. I threw them into the wash earlier today and pulled them out with some of the patches torn or completely gone, now there were other things in the washing machine but nothing that would create this much damage to a garment. All of the patches that were torn are the same design so my guess is, that fabric was just weaker than the rest of the patches. Overall super bummed to be out $50 and not have even worn the pants.

They have a wide selection of men's and women's clothing, hats and some children's goods as well as mugs and magnets and such. Super friendly staff and fair prices. I got some very nice gloves that are nicer than the ones I forgot at home. I also purchased a very nice and soft, comfy oversized sweater.

I tried to find kids sizes--specifically, toddler, but didn't have much luck so I didn't spent much time trying. They had a clear section with stuff for up to 18 months and then like small for kids, but that was too big for my two year old and I wasn't going to spend too much time looking if they weren't going to make it easy.

The window displays seemed to promise great finds and the contents inside did not disappoint! They offered a wide range of quality gifts and souvenirs. The staff were friendly upon entering the store and helpful when searching for sizes in apparel. They also shared incite to the happenings around town. I found many things I just had to have and left happy. Reasonable prices. Thank you.

Aisles are small and items packed everywhere so you really have to take your time, best to take two laps around. Lots of kitchen and serving pieces, wooden charcuterie boards, stationary, fashion jewelry at the counter, some hats and handbags, cocktail napkins, candles. A little bit of everything. The employee was very friendly and when I asked her how long they'd been there she said this was their second day open (first day was Fourth of July!) and they're doing a soft opening, not wanting to miss the holiday weekend. They have some really nice quality food, snacks and drinks. In addition to the snacks, I bought a sweater here that I really like so I'm glad I made the stop.
