The main ceramic artist is JaMPDX and their pottery is super cute and often involve little critters, fruit baskets, swirly designs, pastel colors. A few of the other artists who use the shop are more edgy or masculine. I believe they all make the ceramics in the back of this very store. The exact demographic is puzzling to me. The shop has somewhat of a metaphysical vibe, with AA/spiritual/motivational tchotchkes thrown in. Don't get me wrong, the business owner seems friendly, the store has been around for a long time, so she probably has a devoted following. But it took me, personally, five years to give in to my curiosity to see what the place was all about. Think New Renaissance meets hospital gift shop, with a spiritual reading thrown in for good measure. There is a wide assortment of spiritual and self-help books, New Age and Celtic CDs, lots of branded coins and trinkets, bookmarks and the like. I think you should check the place out, even if it's only just once. The store has survived its current location for a number of years, and obviously continues to draw folks in.
