There's a little bit of everything; they sell plants, books (mostly about plants or home-related topics), candles, and so on. It's definitely a home decor sort of shop (I love them) but they also sell a bit of clothing--there were dresses, jeans, and such here as well. Did I mention plants? Lots of them, and all were in really good shape so they're well cared for until they find their way to your home. There wasn't much here that I could fit into a suitcase to take back when I was visiting, and the clothes were too small for me so I didn't really spend much time there. There were some pillows I liked a lot, and I saw some artwork and stuff was great--so I may have to come back in a few years when my kiddo isn't quite as (accidentally) destructive as she can be right now. There's no dedicated parking, though there may be a lot or two around but just not on the main drag. Lots of street parking, but you'll also be fighting for it; I got super lucky with the spot we found right outside.

Trust me, it's worth walking or driving down To this shop! The store has an eclectic mix of offerings ranging from local art to vintage finds to recycled and up cycled and new items. Even some jewelry. Everything is thoughtfully curated and unique, not the typical items found in a tourist shop. Yes, there are items that will remind you of your trip to the beach but they are not in your face shouting "Beach" but more the essence of the Beach. For example, there are lots of items in turquoise, aqua and the colors of the sea. This works for me because its my favorite color, one I wear often and have touches of in every room of my house. Needless to say, this store speaks to me! The beautiful hand blown, glass nightlights feature butterflies, moons, cottages and dragonflies; they would be a great treasure to take home and remind you of your visit or a lovely gift for a friend. The owner works with local artists and carries many pieces in various mediums. There is always something new that catches my eye. Whenever I'm in Cannon Beach I wander down to Found knowing that I will always find something I can't leave with out!

What a gorgeous, treasure trove of a store!…read more When my friend and I wandered inside, we had no idea how large it was, how full of beautiful and various things, and how long we would spend here! We were welcomed by a friendly staff member on the first floor where you can find some antiques and collectibles and lots of quality glassware, blankets, jewelry, candles and room scents. On the second floor we found room after room of absolutely stunning home decor of all kinds - furniture, art, sconces, lights, posters, art, and more. I saw about 300 things I would love to have in my home and I saw even more that I could find somewhere to put it if I only had the space. This is a gorgeous store and a must see if you are in Cannon Beach. If I lived anywhere nearby, this would certainly be a place that I'd come to find items for my home. There was enough variety in the treasures inside that almost anyone, with any style, would be able to find items to please their tastes. There were improvements and construction ongoing while we were here but it looks like it'll be even more lovely once complete.

I live in Oakland, California, and visited Cannon Beach this summer, where I fell in love with a marble coffee table. I took a photo of it and assumed I could find it online or closer to home, but I couldn't find it anywhere. The more I thought about it, the more I realized how much I wanted that table. On a long shot, I called the store to see if they could ship it to me and was put in touch with Lauren, the amazing designer who helped me. Long story short, Lauren worked SO hard to make get the table to me. Sesame & Lilies doesn't deliver out of state, but she helped me find a trustworthy delivery company and then coordinated with them to ensure the table arrived safely. She didn't charge me anything extra for her help--even though (I'm embarrassed to admit) it took hours of her time. Lauren's incredible customer service and genuine desire to help--without any additional profit for the store--made me a Sesame & Lilies customer for life. Even though I live far away, I will absolutely shop there whenever I'm anywhere near Cannon Beach. You just don't find customer service like this at big chain stores!

Like any touristy gift shops, things are bound to be a bit more expensive but everything was carefully crafted and fun. My mom, uncle, and I were in the store for a solid 15 minutes, with three employees and we didn't get a single greeting or acknowledgment. I wouldn't have thought anything of it if it wasn't for the fact that I was holding items to buy and they were greeting other patrons. I'm normally not one to leave unsatisfactory reviews but it felt a bit more than just "bad service" & maybe more like client profiling.

The wooden theme continued with charcuterie boards, utensils, salad tongs, spoons & ladles, even an adorable chips, guacamole & salsa set. I want that! There are several pieces of furniture, couches and chairs that can be ordered in various fabrics. large decorative vases, botanical artworks, flower arrangements, mirrors and small occasional tables round o the offerings. What is also unique as far as Cannon Beach galleries go, this shop is not filled with shells, starfish, sunset and beach scenes. How refreshing! Just because we are at the beach, doesn't mean we have homes decorated in an ocean theme. In the jewelry area, you will find lots of unique pairs of earrings and necklaces, many with a vintage touch. Lots of freshwater pearl designs, lots of silver. The last visit I fell in love with the ceramic vessels, so simple, beautiful, and functional with a little pop of color. During Covid they are limiting customers and require masks, which I appreciate. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the artists, and happy to provide assistance. At the same time, they allow you to wander and enjoy on your own, which is always my preference. I like to take my time, see if something catches my eye and makes a personal connection, without feeling pressure. I stop in this lovely little gallery every time I'm in Cannon Beach to see what treasure I can find. Since they rotate local artists, it's easy to find something new for myself or a gift for a friend.
