I am obsessed with this place. There was so many things I wanted to get. Will definitely be stopping by on my next trip to the coast. Everything was pretty reasonably priced too!

There's a little bit of everything; they sell plants, books (mostly about plants or home-related topics), candles, and so on. It's definitely a home decor sort of shop (I love them) but they also sell a bit of clothing--there were dresses, jeans, and such here as well. Did I mention plants? Lots of them, and all were in really good shape so they're well cared for until they find their way to your home. There wasn't much here that I could fit into a suitcase to take back when I was visiting, and the clothes were too small for me so I didn't really spend much time there. There were some pillows I liked a lot, and I saw some artwork and stuff was great--so I may have to come back in a few years when my kiddo isn't quite as (accidentally) destructive as she can be right now. There's no dedicated parking, though there may be a lot or two around but just not on the main drag. Lots of street parking, but you'll also be fighting for it; I got super lucky with the spot we found right outside.

My son saw the…read morebookstore when we were walking around town but we missed the closing time two days in a row. My son loves books and bookstores so we made an effort to get there today. We walked in 5 minutes before closing because I missed that they closed at 4 when I had remembered 5 (my issue). The staff politely let us know it was almost closing time. The staff was thoughtfully helping people with suggestions for different books and were pretty busy as the whole town was hopping. My son picked out a book that he knew he would like and another that he thought maybe was less important and decided on the sure thing. He then realized he didn't have his wallet. That was fine as I was happy to buy the book. When we got to the counter the staff told him about a program that gives books to special young men in memory of a special man who had died, from his family. My son has struggled with social situations and skills because of a developmental disability his whole life and the staff did so well with him and he was so happy with that book. He reassured them that we were happy to buy the book but they let him know about this young man and his family and that they wanted to do this. Honestly so incredibly impactful and sweet. I hope the family of that man is able to know how important their gift is.

The store has an easy and welcoming flow with shelves along the perimeters and round and rectangular tables in the center with books arranged by certain topics. It's election time so one table dedicated to current and past elected officials. Lots of current titles, gorgeous "coffee table" books with amazing photography, and classics. Other than that, it's book store browsing business as usual.

Lots of gorgeous photography from Ron Keebler on the walls. Of course there are lots of prints and photographs of iconic Haystack Rock and Ecola State Park that are Just incredibly beautiful, captured in various weather conditions from bright blue sunny days, mist and rain, and sunsets in orange & yellow or pinks & purples. Breathtaking. While the colorful images are spectacular, I found the black and white photographs to be quite moving and am considering a large print for my master bathroom. If you aren't in the market for wall art, no worries, there are other items as well. There are lots souvenirs like coasters, greeting cards, plaques, shells and even some jewelry from local artists. Everything, including the wall art, is very affordable. Nothing pretentious about this shop or the items contained within. Definitely worth a stop if you are visiting from out of state, from other parts of Oregon or even a local. Just know the store is often crowded making it a challenge to navigate because it's full of inventory. When possible, I visit during the week.

Don't get me wrong, I love a sunset! But not all homes, and definitely not mine, can handle those intense saturated colors. Jeffrey's paintings, and prints capture many of the local scenes of this magical town on the coast. Haystack rock on a foggy morning, a few fall kissed leaves on a tree branch, fir trees standing tall on the cliffs with the ocean beyond - so many lovely images. The colors and scenes are realistic, soothing, and absolutely beautiful. His art definitely speaks to me - and that is art. It may not speak to everyone, but for me, I love slowly wandering through the many rooms in this gallery, taking it all in, and waiting to find that special piece that one day will come home with me. What is also unique as far as Cannon Beach galleries go, this shop is not filled with shells, starfish, sunset and beach scenes. How refreshing! Just because we are at the beach, doesn't mean we have homes decorated in an ocean theme. In the jewelry area, you will find lots of unique pairs of earrings and necklaces, many with a vintage touch. Lots of freshwater pearl designs, lots of silver. The last visit I fell in love with the ceramic vessels, so simple, beautiful, and functional with a little pop of color. During Covid they are limiting customers and require masks, which I appreciate. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the artists, and happy to provide assistance. At the same time, they allow you to wander and enjoy on your own, which is always my preference. I like to take my time, see if something catches my eye and makes a personal connection, without feeling pressure. I stop in this lovely little gallery every time I'm in Cannon Beach to see what treasure I can find. Since they rotate local artists, it's easy to find something new for myself or a gift for a friend.
