We stopped in here during our lap around downtown Manzanita. We were promptly greeted when we entered and asked if we needed help with anything, while also pointing out both their clearance area as well as sale area. The store is filled with treasures; think clothes, hats, stickers and greeting cards (but there's much more!). I took a star off because while the service was friendly, there was one employee who wouldn't stop talking to us, which made it difficult to actually shop. read more

Very charming boutique, gift shop. Popped in after strolling on the beach - I was seeking post cards, but boy was I in for a treat. They had so many cute items, clothes, jewelry, novelties, cards. It was merchandised well. I found a few postcards - not exactly what I was looking for, these were more artistic. But then I found I really sweet sticker that I had to have. I was excited for my purchase and they cashier was friendly. The small items were a little pricey. But, support local biz and it was fun. A treasure of items for sure. Parking on the street. Chocolate flavored yarn?? Knitting chocolate? You can have it all!! Seriously though. It's got definite charm for the women that just want to chill.. wonderful wools of many different colors and textures, and wonderful chocolates of many persuasions as well, including Belgian dark chocolate bars - which my friend bought. They also have jewelry, and a little clothing, including coats and scarves. Am thinking she needs to keep adding on to her store name as there seems to be some branching out of other products. The woman working at the counter (perhaps the owner?) seemed to be quite helpful, knowledgeable and looked extremely comfortable in her storefront. I'd read about this shop on Ravelry and some friends and I decided to stop in while we were on a weekend beach retreat. I was extremely impressed with the yarn selection and variety. This is not a typical yarn store since Olga also sells chocolates and teas. However, I was extremely impressed with her yarns (and yes, I had a tiny chocolate sample) and was offered a (free) tea sample (my choice of tea). Olga doesn't carry many yarns that I could get elsewhere, like Noro Kureyon or Cascade, etc. But that was okay, because I was looking for something different, and that I found. There are samples of many yarns and how they look knitted up. And you can even sign up to get free yarn by knitting store samples (Olga's choice of yarn and pattern, which is only fair). I loved the variety of non-yarn items; the recycled bags were awesome. I got a wonderful one with birds all over it. Olga carries a wonderful selection of Oregon-grown Imperial Stock Ranch yarns and pencil rovings, too. There are items for needle felting, roving for handspinning, and all kinds of wonderful project ideas. Her hat models are wonderful. Olga and her staff will happily wind your yarn into balls for you, too. Some yarns are moderately priced, but she also carries some high end yarns which are to die for. I wish my budget had let me get a skein or two of those! I will definitely be back! My friends loved it too. And I'll upload some photos during the week. read more

This was a great find with lots of unusual items for wool crafters and knitters, I enjoyed it! It's worth a stop in Manzanita if you're near the Oregon coast, even if you weren't planning to go to Manzanita otherwise. When I visited, they were offering free samples of chocolate, which were very tasty, but I was not in the market for food or tea. I bought a piece of gray handfelted wool, about 8 x 10 inches, and two little felting kits, one to make a sheep and one to make a pumpkin. Also, a book on zakka, or japanese-style handcrafts for the home. read more

This is such a cute little shop, and the service was fantastic. I stumbled in here in a coma after my massage next door at the manzanita spa, and the lady working there didn't bat an eye at my messed up hair and "face cradle" divets still on my face. She helped everyone who came into the store with enthusiasm and a big smile. I browsed for a while, but didn't buy anything, because I already have like 900 balls of yarn at home from similar forays into the yarn store, because my desire to knit cool things far outweighs my knitting skills and attention span. I keep thinking about that cool knit shawl though and wishing I bought the stuff to make it. Prices were not too bad for Manzanita, and the selection was adequate for a small yarn shop. They had some cool project ideas and some free patterns, too. The shop apparently doubles as a tea store and also sells gourmet chocolates, so if you are looking for that sort of thing in Manzanita, here it is. I will definitely return. Probably when it is colder out and I won't be able to resist the temptation of fuzzy warm yarn. read more

Spent the weekend in Seaside on a little getaway with my bf. One day, we went driving down the coast, and I kept searching Yelp for places to stop. What? Chocolate? Yarn? Together? How can I NOT stop? Well... Not so much chocolate but good yarn selection. Unique yarns. A few yarns that I HAD to have. But, alas, I could only choose one. (So I got a thick grey with a little bit of neon green running through) Cute gifts. Super helpful. I'd come back to see what they have in store next time I am in town. I found this shop quite by accident, my sister and I just happened to pull over to stretch our legs and low and behold we were parked right in front of this magical place! I was very impressed with the selection of yarns. And I am not just talking about the varying prices(although there is something for EVERYONES budget in this shop) the sheer amount of weights and types of yarn, wool, cotton, alpaca--fancy weights, bulky galore, and just your regular stand bys were all stacked neatly side by side in a stunning array. My sister doesn't knit but she has been in a lot of yarn shops and as we left(many skeins heavier then when we entered) she remarked on how well put together the selection of this shop was and I can't say I disagree at all! read more

I almost didn't go into this store since I'm not someone who knits or uses yarn for anything, but I am glad I did! This store has great yarn and knitting items but also has great hats, chocolates, soaps, and recycled items. I purchased a recycled bag to use for taking my lunch to work and it is about the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. The owner of the store was very nice and let us wander around for quite awhile. Whenever I go back to Manzanita I'll make sure to check in and see what new items she has! read more

Absolutely adore this shop! I come here every time I'm in Manzanita. The shop owner is incredibly lovely and all of her employees are attentive, helpful and kind. Some of my favorite clothing items I've purchased here along with gifts for my friends and family. I love the quality of the goods & their are so many playful and unusual finds. A huge plus is that many of the brands and designers in the store are local, American made and ethically sourced. When visiting Manzanita for the weekend, I was excited to see that they had a knitting store. From the name on the sign, I wasn't sure what to expect...I've been in stores with multiple identities that don't do any very well, but this was definitely an exception. I came for the yarn, and I was pleasantly surprised at the selection and quality offered. The service was helpful without being overbearing or forceful. Really 4.5 stars. Found this shop after walking all around Manzanita and the beach and being dead tired. I was so happy to walk in and see all kinds of great merchandise. I knit and crochet so the yarn section was a dream. The rest was a great mix of bags, chocolate and all kinds of unique offerings. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had bought Featherwood earrings here last spring. I wear them everyday and absolutely LOVE them. I get more compliments on them and love telling the story of the artist and how they're made. Today I lost one of my earrings at my local farmers market outside of Portland. I was devastated. I retraced my steps at every booth, nowhere to be found. I went on Yelp to look for the store in Manzanita. Hoping there would be pictures inside the store that would look familiar. And I found it, I called them and crisis averted because customer service clerk Aftyn who was working saved the day!! She told me to text her a picture of my single earring she would look at what they had in stock and sent me back some pictures (all on her personal phone too btw) how wonderfully nice and considerate to go above and beyond. I ordered a pair over the phone and will be getting them in a couple days. Amazing help and kind friendly service knowing I was so upset from loosing one.
