Impressive. I had a leaky muffler flange in my Subaru Outback and Lou's was recommended by my mechanic as a place to get the repair done expeditiously and on budget. I made an appointment with only three days notice and they were able to fit me at a convenient time. When I got there, I was received like an ambassador. Their waiting room is expansive, comfortable and equipped with free video games. After examining my car, I was diagrammed the flanges that were rusty and given a thorough price breakdown. I ended up getting three flanges done. The entire work was done in less than an hour. When I got home, I took the car to my mechanic. How evaluation was that the work was done amazingly professional. Brought my '17 BMW 550i in for a rattling down pipe that I couldn't seem to get fixed anywhere else and Lous fixed it very quickly and at a great price. I also asked about getting some more sound out of the exhaust while I was there and I had some pretty strict requirements for what I wanted / didn't want but Lous provided some great recommendations and did the modification that I ended up choosing while I was there also super fast and at a great price. My car sounds absolutely perfect now, it's exactly what I wanted! The waiting area is well thought out and large they even had a puzzle on a table to put together, seems like people just kind of contribute to the puzzle while waiting which is a pretty great idea. Brought in my 2004 Audi to have the exhaust flex joints replaced. Not a lot of space to work with between the exhaust and the car. Quick turn around. Put the car up on a lift later for an oil change and the weld quality was really quite excellent. Honestly pays to let someone who welds every day do the work. Good work. read more

AVOID!!! I made an appointment 2weeks in advance.. Veterans Day was the only day I could coordinate transportation.. Lou said, I have earlier appointments, I said , no that's the only day I have right now.. he said , no problem, you're the only one booked .. the day before , I called to confirm and dropped it off the night before.. I called the next day at 10:20 to check on it, no answer so I left a message.. at 2:00 I called again,, he answered and said he was really busy and hadn't started it yet, but it would be done by 4:00.. I should up at 4:10 and he still hadn't started.. lots of excuses.. my question is , why wasn't it the first truck in since I booked 2 weeks ago??? I went here awhile ago when they were back on Integra Dr. had them weld some mufflers onto my car it took less then a year for the welds to fatigue and the mufflers to rust from there on up. What should have been a quick easy cut and weld took them almost 2 hours. I would not reccomend this shop to anyone who cares about their cars longevity. read more

Brought my car in to have the cat replaced due to high mileage on the car and cat. Jim I think is the owner's name. Friendly dude, good location. They deal with decent vendors for aftermarket parts, seem to know their shit. I hate doing exhaust work, otherwise I work on my own vehicles. The weld job was done right, but 2 months later I had to bring it back in because the gasket going to the manifold failed. In my opinion, this should have been recommended to be replaced when the cat was replaced to avoid a return trip and a missed day of work. I feel like sometimes they rush a job to make a quick dollar and get you out as quickly as possible. 5 months later the downpipe gasket to manifold bolts "snapped" and I had to pay another $100 to get those replaced. Total trips to this place were 3 in the course of 8 months, and total cost to me was about $600. Still reasonable but the 2nd two trips could have been avoided; the 3rd should have been covered by some kind of warranty. I've been working on cars for 20+ years and never had a stock downpipe bolt "snap" on me. Maybe I should have ordered OEM parts and had them install those. Also, they kept my cat, which is an easy $100 in scrap for them. Next time I will request the old cat to be placed in the trunk so I can scrap it myself. They are better than any Meineke or huge chain for custom jobs all day long, but some things could be fine tuned. Also there is no receptionist which I feel is cutting corners on their part. Last but not least, comfy couch and cable TV available if you want to wait, but don't count on A/C in the summer or much heat in the winter. read more
