Called up to get an inspection and serpentine belt replacement got an appointment within 2 days convenient to my time schedule went in for the appointment sat with the vehicle was out of there in about an hour and 15 minutes. Everyone was very courteous and respectful. Went to Dynatune a few weeks ago and this has bothered me since. I had a PO307 engine code (misfire on cylinder seven) come up on my 2013 Chevy Avalanche. There was a $169 diagnostics fee charged. They checked compression, coil, spark plug and fuel delivery. Changed out the plug. To further diagnose it would cost an additional $210 to remove the valve cover. I asked if it was a lifter problem, could they do the job. They said that they did not do the kind of work. So I asked then why would I pay the additional fee? He agreed so I decline the additional cost and left there with the same problem that I went in with! What do you think? Did I pay a $169 diagnostic fee for nothing. I guess when you bring in your vehicle for diagnostics, don't expect they can fix the problem without and additional fee to diagnose something they can fix!!! I am so upset I went to Dynatune to have my valve cover seals and my anti freeze gaskets fix. I did supply my own valve cover gaskets as I had known for a month they were gone but never got around to having them done. A few weeks later my check engine light comes on and I pull the code P0301 I new right away that there was oil back in my spark plugs. I take it to friend who owns a shop and I am told it's the valve cover gaskets and to call Dynatune so I do and they check it out for me . They confirm it's the valve cover gaskets but tell me I supplied the part so that's on me. Once I had someone else fix it I am told that the valve cover gaskets were not installed correct so I pay again to have them l fixed the valve cover gaskets were forced in and 4 out of the 6 were torn. That is problem one. one week later my 11 month old alternator goes because of of the oil that was allowed into the engine . Now I have to pay for that job again .It's a chain reaction. If more places were honest the world would be a better place . It's not like I don't I enjoy throwing money away over someone's less then stellar job. I don't care if they are part of the AAA club I would rather pay more knowing it will be fixed the first time and not pay twice for the same job. read more

Had a major breakdown on the highway. AAA recommended the car to be towed to DynaTune. Being over 100 miles from home, unfamiliar with the area, and in a rush to reach a relative who was hospitalized (major medical event) any assistance was appreciated. Expecting that the car would be disabled for several days (it would were we live) imagine our surprise when the major repair was completed and the car left the shop in less than 2 hours. Oh, and the shuttle van (nice touch) got my wife to our scheduled destination while I waited for the repair. Dang, I want DynaTune to move close to where we live. Fan for life! read more

If your going to work at a job that requires you to deal with the public you should have some tolerance for customer questions (people skills). It's public knowledge that there are less scrupulous and deceitful car shops everywhere. Can't say this place is dishonest or not but it does raise some concern when you ask a valid and reasonable question only to have the employee develop an attitude and become defensive. I have used Dynatune several times in the past for minor repairs/inspections. I went in there last time for a steering issue in my Buick. I was told I needed to replace the steering rack and pump, and given a quote of $1,800. I called around and was told both parts rarely if ever go at the same time. I brought it to another shop, where the rack was replaced along with one line for about $400. I will not be returning to Dynatune after a difference like this. $1,400 saved by going elsewhere. read more

Ken was very knowledgeable and took time and listend to my concerns.I set the appointment and brought my vehicle in where i met Ken and Gino. they both made the environment upbeat and so comfortable way different then anywhere i have been before. it really shows they like helping people. Ken got me a ride to work and they called me with a quote to repair my issues and i was impressed yet again with such a fair price. dynatune arranged me a ride back after work where Ken and Gino explained all the findings and repairs again. Let me start off by saying that I normally take care of both repairs and maintenance on my cars. I like saving money doing that, plus I just don't trust garages to do the work right and charge a fair price for it. I had never been here before, and hadn't heard of anyone recommending this place, but other Yelp reviews were positive so I decided to give it them a chance. I'm always looking for a good garage to bring my cars to if need be. I had bought some new tires at Town Fair several months prior. After the tire install and alignment there the car was pulling badly. Town Fair attempted to re-align it 2 more times, and each time declared it to be good. It wasn't. So before I completely wore out the new set of tires I brought it here for an alignment. They did find the alignment was off (go figure!), plus they found that a suspension bolt was missing - something that had to have happened when Town Fair aligned it the last time. After replacing the bolt and adjusting the alignment they declared it good. It wasn't. It was much better, mind you, but still pulling. I brought it back down and they took the car back without complaint. After several hours they called to say my car was ready, but they wanted to show me a few things. When I got there they said that they were able to replicate my problem, and they did a number of things to try to correct it - check alignment again, rotate the tires, check centering setting on the on-board computer, inspect steering linkages and other suspension pieces, etc. All total I wouldn't be surprised if they spent a few hours on the car. In the end they said it was likely a sticking U-joint in the steering linkage and they recommended putting penetrating oil on it to see if it freed up on it's own. Now most garages would have charged me for the re-alignment since it technically didn't need to be re-aligned. They would also have charged for the diagnostic labor to narrow down the problem, and they would have also insisted on replacing the U-joint. Dynatune did none of this - the bill was exactly $0! They had every opportunity to charge me for things and in the end they recommended a first-level fix of a few squirts of oil that was free. It's honesty and fair treatment like this that I am looking for with a garage. They have definitely won me as a repeat customer. Due to my DIY skills I may not be the most frequent customer, but I'm sure to bring them the work when I need it the most. read more

Highly recommended! We were in need of a mechanic able to diagnose and repair an air conditioner problem in my daughter's Hyundai and we saw DynaTune online. Then we saw their great reviews, so we called them up and we're so glad we did! They were friendly and extremely accommodating with my schedule and fit us right in. They wanted $1450 for each side to fix a front end problem I had on an Xterra. Team Nissan fixed both sides for total of $700. Then they wanted to charge my son $250 for a new headlamp on an old T Bird. The only thing wrong with the light was that it wasn't fixed in place. We got the hardware needed for less than $4 and did it ourselves. The other review gave them a good rating and in truth, we went here for a while and had good service. I came here for my car inspection. I had a coupon for a $10 inspection, so everyone warned me I was going to get gouged on every little thing. That is exactly what DIDN'T happen! I was really impressed. I still failed but it was for tires and wipers which I knew was going to happen. Also, my check engine light.
