They're take offs are far from complete and they pass the buck on personal responsibility. They can't even unload hardiboard siding they don't have the equipment , they claimed to have told me they couldn't deliver, without me supplying a forklift. But the truth was Joe never told me he couldn't deliver the product, his dispatcher did. But he then he said he'd figure something out. Then they both threw me under the bus to protect themselves for whatever reason, I couldn't care less what they said about me. But I thought we were good and worked things out. So as an act of good will I sent another house over to bid with MY OWN material take off and Joe sent a passive aggressive email to all my subs, and supplier's etc and in the email thread saying he wouldn't supply for THIS CONTRACTOR. All of this unnecessary passive aggressive behavior over a small disagreement started OVER A FORKLIFT. They claim thier customer service makes up for thier higher prices. But that is not so. My experience with Builders first source BMC UFP They have far superior customer service and material take offs that are always within 10%.. I just walked out of builders first source with everything I need and was treated fairly and with respect, as the way I am accustomed. Side note the owner of County line seemed reasonable and fair. But wouldn't fix anything.

They wasted 3 weeks of our time as we waited patiently. They clearly kept stringing us along with "we would have it in a couple days".. So much for wanting to support our local companies. I would NOT recommend them as they just give a lot of lip service and we feel perhaps they were more interested in larger jobs, just wish they would have told us this 3 weeks ago.

They carry portable power tools, glues, and stains, that sort of thing, and standard building fir as well as interesting dimensions of woods like redwood and hickory. For me, this place is a comfortable, old-fashioned oasis with quality woods and service. Keep it up, men!

That alone says a lot. This was not a small job. We're talking full interior refresh: walls, trim, doors, cabinets--floor to ceiling, everything. And from start to finish, William and his crew were exceptional. They showed up on time every single day (sometimes early... and politely waited outside until it was time to come in). Professional, kind, respectful--every interaction. They even took their shoes off without being asked. That level of care matters. They worked fast, but never sloppy. We thought the gas line was cracked and needed replaced. Mac Equipment took apart the chainsaw and then called us to pick it up and said it wasn't WORTH repairing. We had paid $100 for diagnosis. When we got home, we opened the case and saw that they just THREW all the pieces in the case. THEY DIDN'T EVEN PUT THE CHAINSAW BACK TOGETHER! What a RIP OFF!!!!
