First time ever in a Luis Vuitton store. First time ever in Paris! Really enjoyed our shopping experience here! We made an appointment prior to our travel as entrance to the store is by appointment only. Our client advisor Michele a pleasure to work with! He's so personable and professional. He was patient with us and showed us everything we wanted to see, minus a bag that wasn't available. Yes, granted we only purchased wallets, but the client experience was superb. We were provided with champagne and our purchases wrapped in Louis boxes and bags. Michele also took care of our VAT tax refund and before we left Paris we were already credited our refund! Michele also recommended the cutest little tea shop around the corner. If you're in Paris and want to shop at Louis Vuitton, make your appointment at the Vendome store and request to work with Michele! He has the greatest personality! Thanks Michele!!

Stopped by on Wednesday evening around 5pm. No line outside. However, once I stepped in and meet the host I was advised I was #7 in line. Was free to walk around with my girlfriends. But felt like there was not much to look at. After 10 minutes we just decided to sit down until a Client Advisor was available. When sitting I was offered champagne. Minus one star due to my girlfriends letting me know that the employee literally scanned them up and down. Before offering them a drink. She had quite a bit of attitude as we were trying to communicate with her. About fifteen minutes later, I was greeted by employee YUAN. I kindly named the items I would like to see. Debating on what I should purchase. I decided to go with the Rosalie coin purse & LV side up card holder. He was happy to assist with other items. But unfortunately the Montsouri PM backpack wasn't available. We went through the purchase process. He advised to purchase in Euros. Which was great although I already knew to do so ahead of time. He explained everything to me regarding the VAT refund process. Went through the paperwork and made sure I remember to only scan at the last airport before going home. I had a really great experience at this location. THANK YOU YUAN!

Took out one star because their Détaxe machine is NOT working. They are requiring me to take the détaxe in cash and manually write my credit card number on the detaxe papers. This will make me skip Paolo (the automatic détaxe scanner at the airport) and require more time at the airport to go in line for the doane (customs). I have lots of other détaxe paper all directly going back to my credit card. I don't like the extra work. Will buy from another branch in Paris. Saint Germain was able to process my détaxe no problem 2 days ago. Matthew was the SA who helped me. He was excellent with his customer service. Also, the lady greeting everyone at the front door made sure an SA got assigned to me right away. Merci beaucoup!

While there are multiple Louis Vuitton maisons in Paris, with the main one located along Champs Élysées, we were more fond of this location near the Place de Vendôme away from a lot of tourists with hardly any queues to get in! That's right, no lines! Staff is always attentive and super helpful in making sure you are satisfied with your purchase. You get offered a drink while you wait which is customary in Paris unlike in L.A. or other US cities. And this location is next to other high end stores so feel free to shop around for all luxury items.

Great staff here. Their operations is well executed. The sales agents are quick to attend to you, get you what you need, and check you out. They offer you coffee/water, unlike the other stores where you need to ask. Overall, great experience with our agent. Got what we wanted quickly and moved on.

If you want to make a purchase be sure to look for the person (usually women) wearing a white top with blazer or with a note pad and let them or else you'll be waiting for awhile for an available person to look at your selections. Also, there is a wait outside to get into the store but it goes by super quick so don't be scared to just go line up if you're interested. There's also a metro stop right in front of the store. Prices are about $500-$600 cheaper than in the California and they offer a wider selection with some items I've never seen offered either. Staff are VERY helpful and they all speak great English. Overall we had a great experience and very happy with our purchase (:

The staff here is the full-on epitome of French rudeness. Recommend going to another of three many LV stores in Paris.

Way better than the flagship at Champs Elysees who also have a line, but once you're inside it's still crowded without anyone to help!

I went to the Hermès flagship during a two-day stay in Paris last month. The brand is a bit statusy…read more(and expensive) for my taste, but they have a tableware line I've admired for years, and I figured it'd be meaningfully cheaper in France. I wasn't going to go out of my way during such a short visit with my two small children, but when we found ourselves walking past the place on our way to the Christmas markets, I decided to go in for a quick browse. It turned out to be a wonderful stop on our chaotic Christmas-themed mini-tour of France. The store had been transformed into a fancy Christmas destination, with a scavenger hunt that took guests, both children and adults, through several stops within the store, where they played adorable immersive carnival-style games and received stamps in a little book. Once the stamps were all collected, they could be redeemed for a special gift. At first, I was just grateful that my kids had something to do while my friend and I looked at a change tray I'd had my eye on for a few Christmases but had never seen in person. The woman helping me (I think her name was Claude) was gracious and professional. She had me sit, showed me catalogues, and went into the depths of inventory to retrieve the tray I wanted. I ran the numbers and figured I was looking at about a 30% discount with the French price and the tax refund. I bought the change tray and took it home in that distinctive orange box, which I put under the tree as a gift to myself. When I found my children again, they were with my mom in the climactic final stage of the scavenger hunt, a lushly decorated Christmas room with a couple of final games and the prize station: a table where all customers were invited to make their own Christmas ornaments with Hermès store quality ribbons and leather and little bits of hardware. There were sweet attendants who helped my boys, but most of the people claiming these prizes were adults. My kids had an absolute blast, and I got some great photos of them throwing fluffy snowballs at felt Christmas trees and posing in a fake gondola in the shape of an Hermès luggage tag. My five-year-old declared that this was his favorite store, and I tried to get him to memorize "Hermès Saint-Honoré" so we could troll his dad on FaceTime. I was pleased with my purchase, and all of us, children and adults, were impressed and thrilled with this surprise holiday experience. I'll bet we could sell those ornaments for a couple hundred bucks, too, but I'm happier having them on our tree.

This Hermès flagship has been around since 1880, back when they made harnesses instead of handbags…read more-- but it's still got serious style. Unlike other Hermès stores where you wait outside like you're trying to get into a nightclub, they actually let us right in. Big, gorgeous two-story space with a café and restrooms tucked in the back. Although a wine bar would've definitely helped to loosened my wallet even more ;) We checked in downstairs (just to the right of the stairs) and waited about 15 minutes before a friendly salesperson helped us. Best part? They actually had the bag my girlfriend wanted -- unlike the wild goose chases in Barcelona and Prague. She was ecstatic, which meant I got a free pass to spontaneously duck into wine bars as we wandered Paris while she sat there drinking coffee and floating on a cloud of Hermès happiness. Win-win. Happy Shopping!!

Hermès - Just a few little extras I got for myself. My wife says that I should keep the boxes? Again, be a guy I totally don't understand why?
