Loudoun appliances came out through my home warranty to look at my oven that is heating 50-75 degrees or more above the set temperature. The technician acknowledged it was heating too high, told me the oven exterior was getting dangerously hot, but said that he was going to file a report with my home warranty saying a second opinion was needed. The technician told me he was going to include in his report that the oven was heating too high. The technician did no tests of the oven as far as I could see other than turning the oven to 350 and then back up to 425 and checking the temperature of the oven walls. He was only at my house for about 15 minutes. My home warranty called me after he left, telling me that his report said that he detected no mechanical failures and that he never said in the report that the oven was heating too high, as he told me he would. The home warranty said that based on the report, they would not pay for replacement or repair. I will never use this company again. read more
