Incredible food and team. We hired chefs Kyra and Casia and their terrific assistants to cook for our multigenerational family of 7 adults and 2 small kids from 3 different countries. A total of 3 mights of our vacation. They were the best meals we had in Maui! They were organized and right on time, the food looked and tasted beautiful, and they accommodated all our quirks, crazy kids running around, and served the most tasty and relaxing meals we had. Special recommendations- purple sweet potato mash, crispy Ono, crazy good ceviche, and the Thai papaya salad and pineapple fried rice- all got completely demolished, and we are people who know how to eat. Kyra is an absolute fairy and goddess, all in one. I got to enjoy her cooking for over a week, and it absolutely changed my perspective on vegan cuisine. The meals, smoothies, and deserts always came right on time. She even brought Lange water to match the high quality food - YESSSSS!! I arranged a wedding dinner with Kyra remotely. She was wonderful at our back and forth emails regarding the menu and other details. She and her crew showed up at the home we rented in Maui, ready to go, prepping and cooking and decorating our table onsite. The meal was everything I'd hoped for and more. It suited everyone's dietary preferences, and her team did a lovely job of keeping the food coming and moving to the next course with patience and grace for our party of 18 that included two toddlers with their own quirky needs. My husband and I eloped in May of this year, and Chef Kyra created the most perfect dinner to round out our perfect day! She was so incredibly accommodating, and she and her assistant were so incredibly kind and generous with their time! They shopped and prepared everything fresh for us and took such good care to clean up as they went. BUT THE STAR WAS OBVIOUSLY THE FOOD!!! It was truly to die for! She made five courses for us-the first was her amuse bouche with strawberry, honey, and goat cheese, and it was so good. The next course was her delicious gyoza dumplings. My husband and I could've just had those all night, and we would have been thrilled. She had even made and froze extra of them to leave with us to make later on our trip. The third course was a very light and tasty salad before our main course. I'd always dreamed of having filet mignon for our wedding dinner, and my husband and I really believe Chef Kyra's with her incredible Chimichurri was easily the best we've ever had. And the dessert was so decadent! OMG everything was fantastic! If you are considering hiring a private chef for a special event, Chef Kyra has got to be the best on Maui!
