Really cool themed brewery with great beers that can be tried in a flight. Service was fantastic, staff came out to refill drinks so we did not have to stand in line. Separate area available to hold events, cute catered party was happening while we were there.

A great little brewery in Lake Norman, Lost Worlds produces a variety of brews to fit every palate. I'm particularly fond of the bock and the coconut porter. They also had a nice fruity seltzer when I last visited. There's ample seating inside and out. Overall, this is a great spot for beer and hanging with friends new and old!

Really cool venue! It's an open floor concept with an industrial vibe. Lots of seating and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. They were so many beers on the menu that we wanted to try!! Thanks to staff recommendation, we decided to order two flights (4 4-oz pours each) ranging from lagers to IPAs. Each beer was unique and delicious! As a note, we came during off hours (230pm on a Wednesday) but we checked the event calendar, and they have live music, trivia, yoga, and a variety of food options throughout the week!! Definitely a must try!

Stopped in on a Friday evening since we've heard good things about Lost Worlds. The weather was pretty nice but surprisingly outside was not over crowded. Inside the brewery it was pretty packed, with maybe a table or two free, but outside there was plenty of seating at the picnic tables. Ordering was simple and the staff was very helpful. It was my first time there and I didn't know what to order, but was given some suggestions based on my flavor profile and they didn't miss. This is a very convenient location near lots of eateries and things off Catawba Rd. It's sort of an unlikely place for a brewery, but surprisingly it works. They have an activity room inside where I think I saw a pool table too. No shortage of things to do, and they often have food trucks outside as well as live entertainment. Check it out!

After hearing about lost Lost Worlds Brewing, decided to give them a try on a nice day outside. Glad I did! It's a pretty neat brewery and to me, has somewhat of a Jurassic Park look/feel. LOL! They have a wide variety of beers - lagers, ales, IPAs, stouts and even a hard seltzer option or two. While they do not sell food at the brewery, they do have a food truck options that are located typically outside. The food truck options change, I believe on a weekly basis. You can check out their website to learn about different events and food truck options that happen each week. Since I could not decide on just one beer (many of them sounded really good), I decided to go for a flight option. The four that I chose were various IPAs and each had a different taste/flavor to them. All of them were really good! Of course, you can taste test beers before you decide to purchase them. Service is top notch as well! The staff is very helpful and friendly, and gives you some good suggestions when you can't decide on what you want. Long after you are gone from the order counter inside, the staff comes around wherever you are and asks if you need anything else. If you decide to purchase another drink option, they have mobile payment devices with them which allows you to make the purchase without going back to the counter. They will bring your drink out to wherever you are. It's a really great brewery option and good experience if you like beer! If you are in the area (or not), give them a try! It's worth the trip!

What a fun spot! Stopped in to check it out on Saturday night and was happy to find they had much more to offer than just beer! I opted for a delicious blood orange margarita on tap. The outdoor area has heaters and a smokeless fire pit, very cozy! There was also a food truck and live music. Bartenders are friendly and will check in on you to see if you need refills. Great place to bring some friends and hangout.

Great atmosphere! I love their huge outdoor patio- plenty of seating and room for anyone and everyone. They are dog friendly outside and I saw more than a couple families letting their kids run around. There is a convenient place for a food truck to park & a gate that opens up to allow patrons easy access. PLUS- plenty of other food options in the shopping center that you can bring back to eat while enjoying your local favorite beers. We landed here because Paul wanted to bring Memphis (his dog) out with us- aka, we went places that had outdoor seating and were dog friendly. I really thought their merchandise was fun- I was tempted to buy a t-shirt here. John loved his flight of beer and grabbed a pint glass for his massive collection. I heard there was going to be an art festival there the next day~ sounds like a hopping location!

Lost Worlds has an amazing taproom! The space is wide and open and very welcoming. We spent our evening here having amazing beers and delicious grilled mac n'cheese sandwiches. The beers are delicious as well. We had the Marzen, the WC IPA, and the BlackBerry Wheat and everything was very well made and drinkable.

Bull City- Bludacris- Blueberry lemon cider--delicious.

Had: Bludacris- Bull City Cider from Durham and a flight and a glass of Stinnes Helles Lager. Best cider I've ever had. Granted that's not made here. I'm not a beer fan and appreciate when a brewery has alternatives. The Blueberry Lemon cider was delicious--almost like Kool-aid--so be warned easy drinking is the truth. Laid back atmosphere and great music. Hubby loved the beers and his belly would tell you how much he knows beer. Beertenders super nice and friendly. They laughed at my hubby's jokes, that means a extra tip in my books. ;-) Definitely suggest for an afternoon of chilling or an evening date.

I hadn't heard about this brewery, but decided to stop in since it was next to the place I was going. I'm glad I stopped by, but it's not like my arm had to be twisted to visit a new brewery... They have a decent selection of beers, several different styles and they are all good. Since the weather was great, I sat outside in the nice covered patio area where there was a guy playing guitar and singing. There was also a food truck on site, which is always nice to see at a brewery that doesn't also serve food. While this place isn't close to my house, I probably wouldn't go way out of my way to come here, but I would definitely go back if I find myself back in the area.

Wonderful place to grab breakfast! This morning I had my first experience at Cocotte. Our order was…read morethe Saint Germaine sandwich, the breakfast croissant, and two drip coffees. The sandwich was spectacular on a wonderful crusty baguette. It wasn't heated up and made fresh about two hours before I came in most likely, so it wasn't soggy as others mentioned. It was wonderful. The flavor was very savory. My grandmother was very pleased with her breakfast sandwich! Big, flaky croissant with fluffy eggs! The coffee was not weak and I enjoyed it. Creamer was offered as a self-serve from a pitcher. It certainly felt better than opening 9 creamer cups between two people. Free water was offered at the end of the line, too. So, no waiting for a refill. I also got two pastries to go-- both were spectacular. Sweet in a savory and memorable way, rather than being over-the-top and masking fake-y ingredients with sugar like many places do. The bakers do a wonderful job. Despite the crowd and line, the employees moved quickly and kindly. Pleasantries were still exchanged and things made-to-order were out in a timely manner. The people here work very hard. It's a hectic job but they do it well and they do it without sacrificing small niceties or helpfulness. The interior was nice, too. Tables were kept clean and there was a nice area for little ones to occupy themselves while parents enjoyed their drink and meal. Books, some plushies, and pretend-play toys were there. No tablets or items that could make them hyper. I very much enjoyed my experience after a hard night and morning. Thank you to everyone that works at Cocotte for showing up and staying kind. With tip, for two people you can expect to spend around $35. Not a terrible price for a great brunch experience with great environment + people. I recommend 100%. Though, maybe come early in the morning while everything is fresh. Others have different experiences late in the day it sounds like.

Located across the street from the new Atrium Lake Norman in Cornelius, Cocotte is my favorite…read morebakery - solely due to house made French pastries with an imported French flour and a lovely couple from France. Fair warning, It is pricey but worth it! Their best deal is their sandwiches that includes a side (today I chose the tomato soup with croque monsieur) Food: Tomato soup, while basic, was robust and flavorful. The Canneles de Bordeaux ($3.25) was a rum soaked cake that boast of a custard center ... dearest gentle readers, there was not a custard center a tasted more gummy than like a pastry The croque monsieur was a heat up I was expecting fresh and bubbly like true Croque Monsieur and it was essentially a sandwich that once upon a time had bubbly cheese and crispy bacon. Their best deal brioche it was on was absolutely incredible - soft, sweet, and spongy, but there was a stark temperature contrast to the "ran through the toaster" broiled top. My total after tip was $22.41. (Yes I tipped the staff for an order at the front and carry it to me, which is typically against my principle of no tipping if I have to stand and order but that's a different soapbox) Atmosphere: chaotic, loud. There is a small kiddo section with toys and a couple of arm chairs, 3 or four booths and 3-4 small tables along with outside picnic tables that have umbrellas. I have no idea who created the acoustics of this building but everything seems to echo, so if you're looking for a cozy cafe to get work done - this unfortunately isn't it. They do community events there for those who love to speak French or want to learn and improve on their French and are a part of Goodie bags app so if you can snag one of their deals - that's a fantastic way to support them! They are open Weekdays 7-3 (closed tuesdays) and 8a-3p on the weekends. Finally, they have paired with other local coffee shops to have their pastries for sale I would have paid the same (if not more!) for similar items at Panera (prepackaged, overpriced hospital food IMO) so I will hands down continue to support local, freshly made ingredients. I didn't have coffee this go round but thoroughly enjoy their lattes
