I have heard of Lost Oak but I hadn't been here before. I didn't realize how close it was to my house...I was missing out! I will become a regular here and I found out Wednesday is happy hour prices. Reds for $6 and white for $5 a glass. Susan took care of us and she was amazing!! She allowed us to taste the wines to make sure we liked our final selection. She answered all our questions and educated my friend on the different types of wine because she was a beginner wine drinker. We also learned that all the wines they serve are Lost Oak's. Even though we got there at 7:20 and they closed at 8pm she didn't rush us and took her time serving us. My friend got a white wine and I got the cabernet franc. We both enjoyed them. The establishment is beautiful, the have seating outside and inside. They also have games and a wine club you can join. Can't wait to go back especially when the weather is a little cooler so we can use their fire pits. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this winery. The tasting room is nice and you can have tastings of their different wines or buy by the glass or by the bottle. They also offer a good selection of paninis, pizzas and charcuterie boards. Some of their wines are really good so come check them out. The service is friendly and attentive, they will explain you all about their wines and their operation...Really cool place. The only reason why I don't give this place five stars, is because it seems like they are understaffed so service is a little slow. My wife and I will be definitely coming back. read more

Found this gem while out on a Sunday drive. The prosecco was delicious, including the orange flavor prosecco. Employees were helpful as to how things worked. They welcomed us to explore the grounds, which includes a 2.5-mile trail & check out their vineyards. They have an indoor/outdoor wedding venue, which is really pretty & plenty of parking. They are hosting Paint & Sip on August 1 & a Grape Stomp on August 5. I will definitely pay them a visit again & take some friends w/me. read more

We had such a good time at Lost Oak. We came on a very pleasant Sunday afternoon in February and enjoyed a flight and a glass of wine on their patio. It was lovely. I can only imagine how pretty it is in the spring when all the plants and trees are green. The wines were good, the service was excellent, and we were really impressed with the location. A flight is $14.01 and is a good opportunity to sample a few of their offerings. We will be back in the spring and excited to check out some of their trails. read more

Came here for just a girls day out, and actually had a good time. I'm not an experienced wine drinker so the wine tasting was something different to do. It's was pretty breezy but they had fire pits and it was just right for the weather. They have a huge inside space but opted for the outdoor seating area which was nice. The only thing I would suggest for them to have more places to sit your drinks and food on. We had to find a few side stands to make it work for three of us. You can by the wine as a tasting, by the glass or by the bottle. We went for the tasting first. Got the semi-sweet and we also did the Merlot. You also have the option to buy a pre made charcuterie board with different cheeses, meats and fruits. It was a pretty good board. I had a really great time here celebrating my friend's birthday! We went to one of the socially distant outdoor concerts they have and it was great. It was only $8 but we got so much more value out of it. Tables are far spaced and we felt safe! The band was very good and interacted with the audience. They had people up on their feet dancing! The wine was superb. Im usually not a red person, but I thought the cab was perfection. The tasting was so good, most of us ended up buying bottles. I'll come back here for sure. read more

I wouldn't advise using the gazebo at this winery for a bridal shower. Unless you want a very rustic, Daniel Boone type of ambiance, then quickly look elsewhere. Also, the makeshift structure they call a gazebo cannot hold more than about 5 grown people comfortable. They also DO NOT have a contingency plan in place should you have inclement weather on the day of your event. The pictures on the website look way better than the actual structure. read more

Very nice winery here in Burleson, TX. Right at the footsteps of 35 south and Burleson, minutes from downtown Fort Worth. The location is very spacious with a beautiful landscapes. Excellent to get away from the busyness of the metroplex without having to drive hours away. We really like the place. It is really spacious with several outdoor options to offer. But it was 102 outside so as for us inside we go lol. We have previously tried one or two of their wine selection at food and wine events. For me at the time they were not as appealing. But coming here and try first hand what the have to offer change my thoughts for the better. They have an interesting 2019 Tempranillo. I don't necessarily like Tempranillo. Let's say I'm constantly look for that wine that will change my mind. Although this one didn't change my view it was pretty close. It has nice aroma, it dry but easy on the palate. It was complex and yet easy to drink. Not bad but not my favorite. After few rounds sampling and tasting it was time to make a decision. So landed with the Merlot 2019 for her. And as for me the Crimson Oak 2019 red blend. Hers pretty good, juicy and medium body which we really enjoyed. My was the was I wanted: dry and chewy. They also offer flights and you either choose from the preselected menu or build your own. Keep present that not everything in the menu is by the glass. However, you will get more value for your dollars if get the bottle. Also their charcuterie board was delicious. Totally recommend it! The place is family oriented. So kid are welcome. They also have options for them which I found great. Service was great. Our server was very attentive to our needs. The only downside for of was the amount of flies inside is ridiculous. And the prosciutto in our charcuterie box was not edible. And that's the why of my three stars. In overall I think the place is pretty good with potential. It would be unfair to judge them based on one sip. So I definitely looking forward to exploring more this venue. And hopefully update my review. But until my next glass that's what I have. read more

Beautiful property that has some great events. We have been here two different times for wine tasting and both times really enjoyed sitting down to sample in the variety of the wines. They have tasty cheese plates and other snacks to munch on with your wine. When we were there yesterday they were having a band outside and they allow you to bring your own chairs and just hang out on the lawn with a bottle of wine. It's very fun . Every time we go I always enjoy spending time at the property. There's only two bathrooms and that would be the only reason I'm not giving them five stars because it's always a line to get to use the restroom for obvious reasons and that makes you waste a lot of your time standing outside a bathroom instead of hanging with friends. read more

Lost Oak Winery deserves 5 stars and more! We held our daughter's bridal shower here yesterday and I cannot compliment them enough! The venue is absolutely beautiful and the coordinator Brooke was amazing and arranged everything exactly as we wanted it. She made sure to answer every question we had and her communications and efforts were greatly appreciated! The staff that attended to our guests were so helpful and kind, even going as far as helping with setup and retrieving run-away balloons that escaped! Could not have asked for more from them! We had an open wine bar and the wines they picked for us were perfect. Excellent picks and high quality wines that our guests enjoyed very much!! The event room was so beautiful, with gorgeous views, beautiful linens, and all the thoughtful little extras to make it a perfect day! I would highly recommend Lost Oak for any event! The place was busy on a Sunday and the tasting bar too small for such a large venue. This meant people were stacked up waiting to taste the wine. Not a good first impression when coming to a winery....I have been to more wineries than I could ever count! But today it didn't matter to us. We ordered a bottle of Cab and the Charcuterie board served in a pizza box which I thought was cleaver. We went outside and they have a large area with tables in many places. We found a great table and enjoyed the wine. The cab was dry and to my liking. I saw a stage so they must do live music. All in all we enjoyed the wine and the environment. Met a group of friends here to celebrate a birthday. It was the first visit for all 4 of us. It was the first day of spring so that made it even better! We chose a table in the shade although there were available tables in the open along with picnic tables along the perimeter. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and we were all excited to meet and catch up in the space. You're able to bring food and there's food ( cheese boards and other snacks) for purchase but I missed that nonalcoholic beverages could be brought otherwise I would've taken bottled water . I did see that water and soda were also sold. We entered and noticed that all staff were wearing masks. We all ordered the sweet wine flight and returned to our table. I would've given 5 stars but things seemed to be extremely chaotic for the staff as you saw them running around and there was really no explaining about any of their products. I had such a great time at Lost Oak taking a guided tour. Our guide Michele was super knowledgeable from her years of volunteering at the property, and she was very easy to talk to! I tasted a handful of red and white wines as well as their standard cheese board. I am no wine expert, but enjoyed everything I tasted! Both the outdoor patio and indoor tasting room were quiet, cozy and clean. The grounds were also really well-kept and there is even a hiking / biking trail that is part of the property if you want to explore a little. My visit was truly relaxing and I was able to unwind and have some nice wine. I was also a little surprised at how affordable all of the wines and tastings were, too. This is absolutely a place you should visit, hopefully more than once! read more

I like this little winery, there was plenty of outdoor seating, secluded cute areas, as well as the indoor section. There's a creek on the side by the main building, a little deck, and nice views. We had a mixed charcuterie box and a grilled Italian sandwich, along with the house rose' and a seasonal white wine...both were very good. We brought our pups along, and they enjoyed being out in the sun and meeting other doggies that were there too. Service was great, staff were friendly, and the charcuterie was outstanding, with so much variety, including blueberry cheeses, cayenne honey, and lots more. We like Lost Oak Winery a lot and we are wine club members. However, tonight was a total disappointment. We have seen Dueling Pianos previously and were not real thrilled with them. We decided to try it again tonight since it was such a beautiful evening. The Dueling Pianos had a different pianist who is actually a pretty good vocalist and pianist. But the original singer (who is not a good vocalist) is vulgar and even with kids and families in the audience drop the F-bomb and numerous other vulgarities throughout the evening. This is apparently one of Lost Oaks favorite attractions and obviously is quite a draw. We will not be going back any time soon and will probably drop our wine club membership. It is really sad that entertainment has to be ruined with perverse entertainers. We will look for a winery with a little more class rather than one with redneck entertainment. read more

Fun time at the Winery and tour. I enjoyed the place and I love wine tours. This place was only OK because I have had better. We went on a Group-on which made the price much less. Which was a good deal. I would not want to pay more. The samples of wine was very skimpy they did have good wine and plenty of choices to pick from. But they gave you such a small taste you really could not make a opinion on the wine. We also had a cheese tray that was very good. The tour was very well done by the owner he walks the group around and tells us all about how they make wine. The negative was which was not there fought. But the group we were in had brought small children. And they did not behave they ran around out of control from the parents. Crying tantrums one kid playing with the vines we thought she was going to break them off. Parents need to leave the kids at home. This kind on ruined the tour for us. But over all the place was nice and if you can find a half price discount. I would check them out. Just hope there is not little kids running amuck . Plus they advertise a free hat but they the lady at the front did not know about that. She asked someone and they were out bummer I wanted a hat. read more

We finally visited this winery that's practically in our backyard a few months ago. How have we not been here all of these years! We ended up joining the club and love picking up our bottles ever other month. Since were members we get free tastings or a glass of wine when we visit. We also get discounts on bottles and events so I'd highly recommend joining if you're nearby or think you may visit often. We prefer red wine and haven't had one we don't like. The staff are very friendly. There's a walking path behind the tasting room but we haven't walked on it yet. The tasting room isn't large but it's not small either. I'd suggest bringing your own cheese and crackers and grab a table outside when the weather is nice! read more

Great winery hidden in the hills of Burleson Texas. They have cheese plates that are pre-made for sale - we came during happy hour which was $5 glasses. The staff are friendly, helpful, & patient. They have a small courtyard by the river with seating, as well as covered seating outside on their patio.
