We just got married at Los Robles this past weekend and we could not have asked for a better or more magical experience. From start to finish, everyone was extremely helpful in making sure we had the wedding of our dreams. McKenna and her team were an absolute DREAM to work with for both our welcome party the night before in the ballroom, as well as for wedding day itself in the gardens. Our guests raved about how smoothly everything went throughout the day and how absolutely gorgeous the venue is. The apps we chose and the main course food were so delicious! I will forever be in awe over this team and this venue. Thank you all for helping us to create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!

Los Robles Greens "The Gardens" Venue: Beautiful Venue, But Beware of the Wasps We recently held our high school reunion at this venue, and there were definitely some wonderful things about it. The setting is lovely, the staff was generally very nice, and the food itself was good. We truly appreciated the ambiance and the effort put into the service. However, we had a major and unexpected issue with wasps. Unfortunately, no one warned us that bees might be a problem. During the appetizer hour, wasps were swarming around the charcuterie board and other appetizers, which made it pretty much impossible for our guests to enjoy them. Later on, between 7 and 8 p.m. when we were having dinner, the wasps were still a nuisance, landing on dinner plates and making everyone uncomfortable. While we understand that this is an outdoor venue and some interaction with nature is to be expected, we felt it was something the venue should have informed us about in advance. They did not have any visible measures in place--like fans or netting--to help mitigate the issue, and when we spoke to the staff, they simply told us that it was out of their control. In short, while the venue has a lot of positives, we would caution anyone planning an event here, especially a wedding or a large gathering, to be aware of the potential for wasps. Such a shame that we wasted so much money on the appetizers/charcuterie in general.

I had the most beautiful wedding at Los Robles Greens. They were so communicative, the service was fantastic, and the venue clean and beautiful. Thank you to McKenna and Melanie who helped organize the day.

This place was nice! The garden itself was very scenic and magical and looked amazing for a wedding venue! The only issue with the venue I had was that there was a tree right in the middle of where the seats would go so it was hard to see from the back rows. The food was tasty, I was able to try 3 different appetizers that were floating around during the cocktail hour. My favorite was the mini taco bowl, it was like a little Tostitos Scoop chip with beef, cheese and guacamole. Then I had a super fresh tomato, basil and mozzarella skewer and finally we had a warm artichoke dip that was just okay. Entree-wise, the Asian salad with apple and champagne vinaigrette was tasty! Very light. We were served chicken and steak with asparagus and roasted carrots. The chicken was flavorful and tender, I had to switch my steak with someone because the one I got was waaaay too red for my liking. But the seasoning was on point. The veggies were undercooked and a bit hard to chew. There was also an eggplant Parmesan option for vegetarians and I heard raving reviews about it. Not sure if the cake came from the venue, but it was good! The reception area was nice, they had heater lamps which was clutch because it definitely got chilly! The dance floor was a good size. They have a noise ordinance so things couldn't get too loud. It was very spacious, enough room for a bar, photobooth and plenty of room to breathe. The bathrooms were also very clean here too and connect right to the bridal suite which could be good and bad. All in all, lovely place to get married!

This review is for the wedding venue only. It's been a couple decades since I played golf at Los Robles Greens, however we attended a wedding there last month. The outdoor courtyard was beautiful and the way the ceremony was set up it was like a amphitheater. The reception was held in another part of the property and was very spacious. We were served a filet mignon and salmon that was excellent. So good that I had to ask the grooms family if the food was catered from a outside restaurant. All the food, appetizers to the dessert was provided by Los Robles Greens. Without knowing the cost, it's a good place hold a wedding.

Our organization held an awards event for 80 people--including local dignitaries--in the Sunset Ballroom at Los Robles Greens October 23rd. Everything went extremely well. The room setup was exactly as we had planned, and the buffet options were all delicious. The team on-site for the event was very attentive and responded immediately as needed. I particularly want to thank Alex, Devyn, McKenna, and Levi for making our event a tremendous success. I highly recommend Los Robles Greens for such events, and our organization will definitely want to hold more celebrations at the facility. Thank you!

It has been pouring rain here for two weeks. We tried to play here a couple of weeks ago but we backed out due to the weather. When we did finally play, we really had an excellent time. My only complaint is the location of the driving range. You need to walk or drive well past the middle of the first fairway so you could hit balls back towards the clubhouse. There is a range closer to the clubhouse that is private where you hit balls the opposite direction toward the other range. Other than that quirky complaint, everything else was wonderful about our experience. The rates are quite competitive. I paid $58 on a Saturday morning for a non-resident. Since the course was so water logged from the rains it was cartpath only, so we decided to walk. I'm in pretty good shape and found the course quite walkable but, yes, I was a bit sore last night. It still beat walking back and forth to the cart path after every shot. The guys we were paired with had a cart and we kept up with them quite easily. It was still a 5-hour round. We barely waited for the group in front of us and did not feel rushed by the group behind us. For a soaked course, it was in amazing condition. The greens were excellent, fast, true and well maintained. The fairways were not very tight and errant shots were easy to find. Lots of oak trees made for some challenging shots. The layout was hilly with some gorgeous sand traps. Some are quite deep and some were quite large with different native plants. Quite picturesque for a public course. I would not hesitate to play here again.

The most striking feature of all was the precision demonstrated by Soltana Mulhearn, and her team from Velvet Alley Events. https://www.instagram.com/velvetalleyevents/ From first meeting at rehearsal Soltana greeted the party, took us on a tour of the lovely property, and explained how the ceremony would be conducted. Soltana's deft handling of the 25, or so, members of the wedding party, all while being patient, and with a smile, was more than reassuring to me, and the others as well. Her staff seamlessly underpinned the event. Her staff were professional, well trained, and just beautiful people. A live event can go "off" at any time. Soltana kept the wedding on track from start to finish, and all with that smile! I would, without hesitation, highly recommend Eden Gardens, and the amazing services of Velvet Alley Events. Unfortunately, the customer service completely overshadowed what should have been a fun birthday celebration. I made a reservation for 8 people, which later increased to 10. When we arrived, the hostess was incredibly kind and seated us in the couch area, letting us know we had a 2-hour limit, which we were completely happy to respect. By the time everything settled, four people had canceled, so there were only six of us. The hostess and valet were wonderful, but unfortunately that was where the positive experience ended. About an hour into our reservation (with over an hour still remaining), a staff member approached us and accused us of lying about the size of our party because they needed the couch area for a larger group. If they had simply come over and politely asked if we'd be willing to move to one of the many open smaller tables, we would have gladly done so. We were there to celebrate, not make anyone's job harder. Instead, multiple staff members approached us within minutes of each other, each becoming more abrupt than the last. We had already told the first employee that we were wrapping things up, and literally just a few minutes later another employee came over with even more attitude insisting they needed the space. At that point, I simply said we'd leave. His response was, "Thank you," in a tone that made us feel completely unwelcome. To make matters worse, a wine flight was accidentally delivered to our table that none of us ordered. We politely let the staff know because we didn't want to be charged for something that wasn't ours, and instead of an apology or even checking what happened, we were met with skepticism, as though we were trying to get away with something. We never touched the flight--we simply wanted to make sure the mistake was corrected. What disappointed me most wasn't that they needed the table back. I completely understand restaurants and wineries have to accommodate guests and maximize seating. It was the way we were spoken to throughout the experience. Hospitality goes a long way, and a simple, respectful conversation would have changed everything. We weren't loud, disrespectful, or causing any issues. We still tipped our server because we believe in taking care of service staff, but the overall experience left us feeling uncomfortable and honestly put a damper on my birthday. The scenery is beautiful, and the location has so much potential. Unfortunately, the customer service made the experience feel anything but welcoming. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I hope this feedback encourages management to focus on how guests are treated. A little kindness and professionalism would have made all the difference. Sadly, I don't see myself returning. We did however leave and ended up going to paradise cove right on the beach and the staff was AMAZING so I'm glad it happened but I hope this never happens to someone else Also very over priced for basic items/food. The staff also just didn't seem like they knew what we were doing and we had to flag them down because service was so slow (mind you there was so many of them just kind of huddled not being attentive) and like they didn't even want to be there I'd like to add because I don't know how to reply to your comment as a manager We never ordered that extra flight and let them know immediately and also they never asked us to relocate as I stated we would've been happy to had them asked us nicely as stated above we enjoying our time until the staff spoke so rudely to us. Clearly this was not well documented because we only ordered 2 total flights and being spoken to like that is unacceptable. It's very disappointing to continue to be treated poorly there was multiple people there who can attest to what I'm saying. I guess you just ban people without getting all the facts and have never experienced this ever. I understand guests number changes AGAIN we would've been happy to move if asked nicely nobody offered or asked us to relocate . Also we forsure never ordered an extra flight so again another staff member lying when it's totally fine if it was mistakenly brought to our table. Best of wishes to your business. Sad sharing my experience got me banned it is what it is I just hope no one ever feels uncomfortable for a place with potential

Customer service was still great, but I noticed a few changes that took away from the experience for us personally. I do like that the tastings are no longer in the plastic tubes, although the tubes did feel like they held a little more wine. What we didn't enjoy was that when multiple people ordered the same tastings, they were placed into the same shared glass/container. In our party of four, three of us had the same six tastings and had to share. I appreciated the bow on the glass showing the pours, but I preferred the previous setup where everyone had their own individual tastings. It may seem small, and thankfully our group was fine sharing, but it made the experience feel less personal and honestly made us less interested in doing tastings again on future visits. Some people also may not feel comfortable sharing containers or touching the same glass. Nothing terrible at all, just some feedback from longtime visitors who loved how it used to be. On this visit we actually ended up ordering a bottle afterward instead, and moving forward we'll probably just continue doing that rather than the tastings.
